I rarely give 5 stars but i got my first tattooin over 8 years.  My artist was Gabe and he was awesome. Works as a good speed.  Friendly.  Focused My tattoo was the cowboys/yankees tattoo. I included my friends baby name infinity tattoo as it was on her recommendation that I try this shop. Traveled 90 min. This shop is AWESOME to say the least. Derek has done three of my tattoos and they all have exceeded my expectations. He is a true artist who takes pride in his work. Gabe is great! I highly recommend him for any piece. Reasonable hourly rate too. The majority of the staff was friendly as well. The woman at the front desk was helpful and pleasant and the shop was clean. The owner, Mike Parsons, was less than friendly. I was disappointed with this. The first time I went in was right before Christmas to buy a $500 gift card and a $50 gift card. When I walked in there were two guys, one being Mike, and the woman behind the counter. I said hello to all of them and the two men ignored me. I bought the certificates and was on my way. The original plan was for Mike to do my Husband's tat but after that encounter we chose Gabe. When we arrived for the tattoo we were waiting right by the front door for Gabe to get ready when Mike walked by to leave. He looked at us, we looked at him, we said Hi to him, I am 100% sure he heard us but he said nothing and just walked out the door. Also, my husband and I always go together when one of us gets a tat. There is always a spot for us to sit at the two other facilities we go to. There is not a place for a guest to sit with you while you get your tattoo, just really hard chairs positioned by the door. Our experience may be different than others and it was by no means a terrible experience. However, customer service can make or break a company. I can't imagine that we are the only people that wants to bring someone with them to get their tattoo....maybe padded chairs would help. Just to reiterate, Gabe does AMAZING WORK! Read Less

Mike Parsons Ink is a exceptional tattoo shop. I've been getting ink for 30 years and this shop is the best , by far. Kurtis Todd has been working on my Star Wars sleeve for almost a year, and it gets more astounding every visit. Super clean and professional. I took what was the beginning of a cover up ( large clock and gears) to Gabe last week. Another artist started it but it was looking pretty bad. He took the time to talk with me and work a plan to get me where I needed to be and fix the prior mistakes. The work is not finished but its already far better than I thought it would be. What he did was simply amazing and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this shop. While I was there I seen two other pieces done on other people. Everyone in this shop is top notch. They are professional and very friendly. Also I seen a review in here that said they don't like Latinos. Well that's not true either. Gabe is Puerto Rican so that's a bunch of nonsense. If you want great work at a fair price. This is the place to go. If you want something to take to these guys to fix later after someone else jacks up your tat. Go anywhere else. Read Less

I got my full sleeve done by Derek and finished about a year ago. I immediately went to a tattoo convention where it took first place in big color and third place in full sleeve, should have been first in both categories. Point is this place is where you want to go get your work done. Here it is a year later tattoo looks like I just got it, so back to the convention it is. Derek also did a memorial piece for my wife's horse which is off the charts amazing. We both receive compliments on the work ALL the time. Definitely our go to guy from now on. Read Less

The guys in here are usually exceptional artists. The only issue some might take with the parlor is that they are quite expensive. I won't say overpriced because you usually get what you pay for, but if you're not wanting to pay between 150-200 dollars an hour, then this might not be your place. I don't write a lot of reviews but this place is absolutely deserving of 5+ stars.  This place was recommended by a bartender at Applebee's with very nice tattoos.  It took me over a year to get up the courage to go.  I went over and all the artists were busy and that is a good sign in my mind.  I used Gabriel.  He drew up my custom tattoo and did a phenomenal job one the drawing and even better on the tattoo itself.  Everyone was friendly and professional.  They were a little pricy at $150/hour but worth every penny in my mind for something I'm going to look at every day. I had stopped by this shop a few years before and had a great experience, however, when I stopped by the other day to inquire about a random tattoo (albeit, nothing too involved, a few names of loved ones with dots of colour sprinkled up my arm traveling up my neck to my ear, I'm a small person) I was told this would be a 2-3 session - translation $150.00 hr per session! I asked about the pricing because I was unclear as to why it would it take such a long time, in case I wasn't understanding, and did not get any clarity. I pressed further and still didn't get further information as to why such a high price. If they didn't want my business they could have just said so. I had such a great experience with this tattoo shop! This Parlor is absolutely spot clean and the artists Parsons hired are very talented. When you walk in, your eye goes straight to the back wall to all of their gorgeous awards. Mike Parsons is an award winning artist so many times over and his shop has the trophies to back it up! Mike is a tough guy, he's big into Jiujitsu sooo you better pay your bill haha he's pretty funny, definitely sarcastic, and does an unbelievable job!!! Mike drew up my insane sketch in 15 minutes and hand drew a bunch of it right onto my skin with a sharpie. He's been tattooing for almost 20 years and he's the man! He does cover-ups, color, black and grey work and anything you can throw at him! He spent 3 hours straight on my black and grey shoulder piece- it came out better than I ever pictured it in my head! I'm Blown away- it's epic! His employees are also super talented - Parsons was the only one that I got inked by but I can assure you that clients only walk out of his tattoo parlor with amazing artwork! This place is a hidden gem tucked into a random plaza but it's legit, Extremely clean, and as professional as they come- Also, no piercings because it's all about tattoos there! A few years ago I decided I wanted a special tattoo in honor of my grandmother. And it took me that long to find a shop and artist that I liked. I heard about Mike Parson's Ink from a few friends at work so I looked them up on-line first. I liked what I saw, all the artist's work are phenonmenal, so I decided to visit the shop. It was clean, they were friendly and anyone would feel welcome there. That sealed the deal and now I have a beautiful tattoo that I am proud to show off.
