I would suggest not making an appointment here. Called for a walk in. Told me to come in an hour and half. Was just in town for two days. Headed to the area and waited around because they told us to “head over to the bars around the area while we wait”. what kind of tattoo place tells you to get drinks before getting a tattoo? We live in the area and decided to walk in to check it out asking about prices and since they just opened were they running any specials they said that they aren't new and they don't run specials that's for shops that aren't that good they are that darn good! I wish I could put no stars because the way they are organized or should I just say unorganized is completely ridiculous. Obviously it's Friday the 13th and we were prepared to wait. But apparently the women who told everyone to hold their paperwork has now disappeared and if they don't have it they're not tattooing you after a certain time...Then not only telling the people to come another day if they've waited NO they want you to buy a 10$ shirt to get 30$ off another tattoo that will total to 30$ when you get it so you're wasting 40$ to get a 20$ tattoo after you've waited for hours and got treated poorly? Lol fucking joke. Also slim middle aged guy in the front with the beanie and the stupid look on his face when he had NOTHING to say to the people who have been waiting for HOURS other than they may not get tattooed and their best bet was to waste extra money on a shirt nobody wants to come back another day to wait lol. How can you be so dumbfounded and have no words for customers you can't even respond to them speaking to you? ....Horrible service it wasn't even me he was talking to and he pissed me off so much I refuse to give this place my money even if it is a shitty 20$ Never will come here again. I've been coming to True Love since I turned 18, 7 years now. All the guys in the shop have always taken the best care of my idea and my experience. They are always tattooing something fun to see and always laughing at eachother. Best tattoo studio in Margate, if not Florida all together. Great artists, incredible work and you'll for sure be comfortable. Not many shops can say that. Go get tattooed! Ask for Adam. Insider secret: he owes True Love and has since it's inception. First off, the shop was very clean and organized. All the staff were welcoming and friendly. Went in last week to finish up a half sleeve and was referred to John Lu as he specializes in American traditional pieces. He was very professional and even took the time to draw some original pieces for me. Super talented and takes his time. I was astonished by the level of detail in his work. The tattoo came out beautifully despite    our raucous conversation reminiscing about "the good ol' days". I went with my friend to get tattoos and it was one of the best tattoo experiences I've had. Not only were the guys there funny but they were patient when the artwork needed to be drawn out. Disappointing - complete lack of service, rude and arrogant artists and never called us back for an appointment after visiting them in person and their saying they would. Also, don't bother sending them an email hoping to discuss work you'd like to have done more than a week in advance. (You won't get a response.) I came here with a few friends on Friday the 13th for $13 tattoos around 5pm. We knew we would be waiting for a while, but we had no idea we'd have to wait for around 3 hours.I am so disappointed for my entire experience here. Waiting is one thing, watching the tattoo artists take so many people right as they walk in the door when we've been waiting for two hours is another thing.My tattoo artist asked for the cash before he even did the tattoo, which was odd to me. He then proceeded to make fun of my tattoo choice. He rushed through the tattoo. For a $13 tat, I get it, but I waited for three hours and don't deserve a sloppy job.I won't get a tattoo here again, and I don't recommend anyone else do either. The owner is incredibly rude and doesn't care about new customers. A few people that he "knew" walked in and he did their tattoos immediately, in exchange for Ticketmaster concert tickets?Unprofessional and annoying to deal with. Read Less
