I’m feeling slightly miffed. So I contacted Matt who put me in touch with Damen Jo. Damen asked me to send him some pictures via text of what I wanted. I not only sent him just that, but even sent a sketch of how I wanted it. I asked via text if he could send me a sketch of his own prior to meeting with him today. He wanted me to wait until I got there today. No biggie so I did. So we had to spend time putting the tattoo together on his computer, which I was trying to avoid especially since he had to pick up his son by 1pm. While putting the Tate together I felt like it was a fight to get him to put everything together like I wanted it, but eventually after some persistence I got him to do as I wanted. So then comes the actual tattooing. He finishes the tattoo, but there was barely any shadowing done to the wings (which was the most important part of the tattoo) to prevent it from looking like a coloring picture of a child. I had to fight him to get the shadowing that I wanted, but even then at the latter end he said I had to come back after some healing to get the rest of it shadowed like I wanted. It’s not a bad tattoo, but it was not completely what I wanted, especially when you pay $270 for it. I just felt like there were a lot of excuses given to me about why he couldn’t instead of referring me to someone who could or trying to make my dreams come true in regards to this tattoo. I also felt like he was rushing to go get his son which is why he was probably refusing to give me the detail I was wanting. Also he said that the tattoo was done, but I had to tell him that Spirit is spelled Spirit not Spiril. Then he dotted all the “I’s”in Spirit, but not the “I’s” in Warrior. I got tired of being told I can’t & fighting for what I wanted, but I will be back to finish getting my wings on my tattoo shadowed. Maybe then I could give a higher review, but until then...uh no. My boyfriend and I visited TnT today and met with Damen Jo. He listened to what we wanted and spun his own creativity into our visions and we were stunned by the results. The shop itself is clean and has a laid back atmosphere with some of the coolest people ever as the staff. We WILL be returning and I will recommend Damen Jo to all my ink loving friends!!!! Spent yesterday afternoon with Damen and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I won his $400 tattoo giveaway on facebook and he did not disappoint. His line work is impeccable, and the colors are bright. He did such an amazing job that I asked him to do some free hand abstract designs on my hand and again he came through. I must admit that at first I was a bit skeptical about a barbershop with a tattoo shop in one but it was really clean and they did an amazing job on my son's hair. Took my 2 year old and 3 year old to get a hair cut and they were a little nervous at first but the barber who cut their hair did great! My 3 year old was moving around and his hair turned out so good! i was definitely pleased with everything everyone is so friendly. Read Less

U guys did an awesome job on my sons hair cut he recently got a bad hair cut n he would not return back to school until i got his hair fixed n yhall did a great job he said "now ill go back to school and i want everyone to see my hair cut now"!
