We recently visited Pensacola for a mini vacation and stopped in right when they opened on a rainy Thursday. We didn't have a ton of time and had plans the rest of the weekend and Dana pushed her next appointment to accommodate our spontaneous tattoo decision! We decided to get a small tattoo on a Saturday. The staff is very welcoming. Everyone that works there was extremely nice and professional when needing to be. Great staff! I've been going to these guys since before they were downtown. They treated me like every piece was important, unlike a few other places I've been to. They actually put time and thought into my ideas, and were timely about it. Prices are good too! I'll continue going to 3d ink for more work! I have had several tattoos done by Chris and some done by Dana as well. They are both amazing talents. U Chris is my go too. He has done several cover ups for me. So I went In and talk to a guy I believe name was matt. First impression are big to me and he didn't know anything he was talking about. I showed him the pictures of what I wanted first thing out of his mouth was I'm not coping someone else's tattoo. Really I mean it's called customer service he said it about 3 times. Every were else I've gone they take the pic give then and draw me something up based off what u tell them. Then he goes to ask me to email this pic to him and gets all defensive over the question I asked him trying to be friendly. I email the pic to him then ask him about the small pimples on my arm if they would be a problem the exact words he uses is I'll just tattoo around them. So any normal person would think then there going to be blank spots. Proper way to say that would be with the tattoo you want I don't see it being a problem unless they were excessive. Then it gets even worse he tells me I have to pick out different flowers Idk nothing bout flowers he tells me to Google it and then tells me basically I'm being complicated and not making since. Then he goes to tell me that he made under min wage last year and doesn't make good money as a tattoo artist that he just does it cause he loves it. For 21 years. Really why would I trust someone putting something on my body for the rest of my life who one spoke to me this way and 2 clearly doesn't know anything about tattoos.he  also told me it was going to be 2 sessions and he couldn't fit me in today when they were dead. And when I told him my schedule is pretty booked he got pissed and acted like he wasn't going to do anything just took my info and didn't even ask me for a deposit on the sketch.Very very very unprofessional rude. Does not listen to customer I will not be back nor send any of my many friends.I found another local tattoo shop they did my tattoo only took them about 2 hrs. She also looked at the pic showed me a few pictures of ideas. And had it drawn up and it was done. Super easy and very professional and polite. Read Less

I've had a few tattoos done at different places and I recently had my 5th one done here. My buddy and I checked out a few places and we weren't satisfied with the customer service and the artwork. We heard about 3d ink and went in to check it out. Right off the bat, the place was clean and we were greeted immediately. Chris worked with us on what we had and made it better. We both got great tattoos and I will be back for more. I saw a few bad reviews on this place. Don't give a place a bad review just because you didn't click with the artist or didn't like there style.
