My daughter got her very first tattoo there yesterday as a birthday gift. The place was amazing. Margaret was her artist and oh my goodness. .she did awesome work. Amazing work! I had a cover up done by Danny and let me tell you it was not in an easy spot. I had an ugly fairy that was cut in half due to my son birth anf Danny made me love to look at my abdomen again. He is very professional and the shop is one of the cleanest around. Very professional got my girl in and out made as feel as if we never left the house would highly recommend also was gonna get a finger tattoo and instead of him doing something which I didn't know would eventually come off and need lots of touch ups so they're basically not just trying to take your money they actually care about their customers! Margaret is FANTASTIC. My girlfriend and I planned a beach trip to Daytona August 6-10 and wanted to get tattoos while visiting. Stopped in while on vacation for a couple of new tattoos after reading reviews about this shop. I made an appointment with Maggie based solely on pictures of her work and Jenn's recommendation. Arrived the morning of my appointment, met with Maggie for the first time. Within minutes of speaking with her, I felt confident she could give me exactly what I wanted. So much so, I told her to do whatever she wanted. Little did I know, my two new tattoos would exceed my expectations. Although I have always said I would never walk in somewhere randomly to get a tattoo, I am so glad I did. A huge thank you to Jenn, Corie and Maggie! Was in yesterday for 3 additions to a "sleeve" I'm working on. It started with a few ugly cartoony stars done elsewhere that I was totally ashamed to show anyone. Last year Jeffarooski was recommended to me by two different people at separate times. So, I went for it. He fixed my existing stars, and made this amazing trail of stars all the way trailing from my wrist and winding up and around my shoulder. I was in love with it. Took a very brief vacation & wanted to pick up some ink before I left. They took care of me within minutes. Atmosphere was great. Price was very reasonable. Jen and Mike are two of the most artistic people my husband and I have ever met. On New Years eve we were planning some of our activities for our up coming vacation to Daytona Beach. Our friends decided that we all needed to get tattoos on our trip, both of them already had a tattoo, however neither my husband or I have really ever thought about it due to an anxiety disorder. We did our research as we always do and went into a couple of shops that received pretty good reviews. I had an idea in my head that I was trying to explain, however they only wanted to show me the standard flashes that seem to be every where. They didn't want or wouldn't make any changes. On our way to visit the 2nd shop we researched we found Artistic Soul Tattoo, they were closed for the night when we drove by. We went online to research them and found that every review they had out there (around 30/40) reviews - NOT a single review was under 5 stars. We called and left a message asking them to call us. Jen contacts us the next morning however she stated that they were booked. We told her that we still wanted to come up and meet them and talk about what we had in mind. When we arrived we were greeted by the sweetest girl (Jen) with a smile. When we started talking to her and showed her what we had in mind for our tats, she went and talked to her artistic soul mate Mike and the next thing we knew, they completely rearranged their Friday schedule to not only perform our tattoo's but stayed up most of their night designing them. When we arrived Friday morning, the designs were exactly as we both pictured them in our minds! Incredible!! My husband went first and with Mikes bed side manner was able to over come his anxiety disorder and actually fell asleep while Mike was tattooing him. If any of you know anything about anxiety disorder - you know what I'm talking about that normally you can't just shut this disorder off. Mike - you are wonderful!!! We most likely will be getting another tattoo - we live in Michigan and we WILL be going back to Artistic Soul Tattoo for any in the future. Jen and Mike - Pat and I THANK YOU both for Rearranging your schedules, designing our tats, spending the entire day with us to complete them and most of all - for becoming friends of ours!
