I've been coming here for a while now and originally got tattooed by Trevor maybe two years ago give or take. Trevor did wonderful work for me and understood what I wanted, it was a super simple geometric design to frame out my compass but even then he took the time to make sure that everything came out correctly. Trevor has moved shops now and is still continuing to do amazing work while I more recently fell in love with Sammy's work who is currently at studio thirteen. I've now gotten three pieces done by her and she is always super great with ideas and color schemes! I can't wait to get more work done by her soon!! This is probably the only shop where I trust all of the artists to tattoo me and the piercer, Annie, is fantastic as well. Annie helped me out with changing my septum ring since I have issues with clickers and she was super nice about it and knowledgeable!! My fiancée has had 3 tattoos done here now and I've gone to every appointment. Amazing work, and amazing artists. It is a VERY clean establishment with very friendly employees. Expect to have a consultation and make a deposit to secure your appointment. The prices vary by piece and by artist. I absolutely adore the atmosphere in this place!! It's sets a tone and that's major when defining yourself, I love it. I just stopped by to get a jewelry change (I can never screw the balls on my septum ring) and Annie was very helpful. I appreciate that they're up to date in technology so rather than me writing out all of my information I got to enter it into an iPad and just scan my ID. Annie took me back to her suite and changed my ring quick and easy. She was clean and efficient which is always appreciated. She even gave me advice on another piercing that she didn't even do but she was willing to hear me out and give me a solution. I'll definitely be back to check out some of their tattoo artist. Jessica do an incredible, flawless job, creating a beautiful image of roses and shading on my daughter's arm to cover up her scars, she showed complete compassion and made Sav feel comfortable throughout the 4.10 hour long process. Jessica is a true asset to your studio and a remarkable artist and human being. I highly recommend her not only for tattoos but as a specialist in the "scars" area. I've gotten three tattoos from Studio XIII now so I feel comfortable leaving a 5 star review. Each and every artist has been nothing but polite and accommodating. Their front desk staff makes you feel right at home and answers any and all questions you might have, whether it be via FB message or phone calls. I got my first tattoo last night with Trevor. I was a little nervous for obvious reasons. I mean this was going to be something permanent and forever. It turned out awesome! I love this studio and the artists are all extremely talented. I've now gotten three tattoos at this shop, and truthfully the only complaint I have is my last two ended up being at least $100 more (which is almost double) what I was quoted because I got them both at the same time and they weren't large. I enjoyed working with my artist, but almost half an hour of them time that I was billed for was spent on a consultation with another client while I was waiting so that part is the only complaint. Again, this is probably not something that happens in this shop often, as I've seen they are very professional, clean, and do amazing work. I started my body modification journey here at Studio XIII, and I have not had a more positive experience in my whole life. The environment is clean and friendly, and I could tell right away that all of the artists are passionate about their work and making sure that you walk away with exactly what you were looking for. I come mostly to see Anthony, but I admire the work of the other artists so much, I plan on getting work done by all of them one day! I was tattooed by two apprentices in my experience and they are both doing so well! I can't wait to see where they go. I have unfortunately not been more disappointed in a tattoo. I'm not usually a big fan of just walking in and getting a tattoo when I don't know the artist or their work well but the reviews looked great and my sister was dying for a birthday tattoo and it was a smaller script work so I had confidence that it could be well done. Our artist never told us the price, we only found out once the tattoo was done, and I never have an issue paying for quality work, but for a five min...ute tattoo that looks like junk, I'm not so happy. There are blow outs, spaces missing ink and the whole thing is shakey. It's really difficult to look someone in the face and say hey this really sucks, especially in a situation like getting a tattoo when we all know it can be a nerve wrecking environment, so we paid and said thank you. Living with it forever is a different story. I've now found out that the person who did our tattoo was an apprentice, which was never expressed to us, (and can be totally fine, everyone's gotta start somewhere) but it would have been something I took into consideration had I been informed of it prior to sitting with her. No after care was explained to us, which sure you can see we have tattoos, doesn't mean you shouldn't ask if we'd like to hear it, my sister hadn't had work done in over 10 years, she wanted to hear about after care. I had Trevor tattoo me and he was easy to make conversation with and he makes sure you're comfortable the whole time you're there. This shop looks clean, is pretty quiet, and a lot of their tattoos are amazing, but I'm giving it a 2-star review based on my experience getting pierced there. When I went to get my cartilage pierced 7 months ago, Annie was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Unfortunately, she didn't discuss different earring options with me and just gave me a regular metallic stud without asking what I preferred (which was disappointing, since picking out the jewelry is half the fun!). I was too nervous and excited about my new piercing to ask and, since she didn't mention anything, I just assumed everyone with a new piercing got the same metallic earring. I went back a few weeks later to change the jewelry because I'd lost the back to the earring she'd put in. Annie seemed a bit disinterested and recommended one of the earrings at the shop. That earring turned out to be a regular stud for earlobes (it was too short and too thin to be a cartilage one, but I didn't know that at the time). Having that earring in affected my healing and required me to buy a new helix earring at a different shop, meaning I wasted 20$ on a regular stud earring that doesn't even have a pair. Now that it's been 7 months and I have the right earring, I'm hoping it'll heal a bit better. Although Annie was nice and pretty patient during my piercing, the whole earring debacle means I don't plan on going back to her. If you do go to her for a piercing, I encourage you to ask questions about the type of jewelry she plans to put in and make sure it's the right one for your type of piercing. Read Less

I don't usually leave reviews but I really felt compelled after my experience. The staff here is fairly friendly & the establishment looks clean. However, you get what you pay for. Cheaper isn't always better. They do not provide quality jewelry, aftercare instructions, nor do they sell aftercare solution. You can make your own if you google it though. I hope your experience turns out better than mine. If you're interested in my story, read on....I got my ear pierced by Annie. Initially, she was very nice & patient with me so I proceeded with the piercing. Within days, I began to have issues with it. I've had several piercings throughout the years & have had ZERO problems or infections in the past. This definitely wasn't due to a lack of aftercare on my behalf. I returned to Annie for a consult & I felt she was very dismissive, defensive, & was vague in terms of aftercare. I gave my piercing a few more days but my issue worsened. I ended up going to my dr to have it checked out & was put on antibiotics to treat possible infection. Turns out, I was having a reaction to the cheap jewelry that Annie used to pierce me with. Completely hindering my healing process. I drove over an hour to another piercing studio located in Winter Haven called, "The Piercing Boutique". Totally worth the drive. Incredible service. They are members of the APP (Association of professional piercers) & carry high end, quality jewelry, ranging in prices. Had my cheap jewelry replaced with a Titanium piece. My piercing was salvaged & finally healing. There is another app member in Orlando who also carries high end jewelry but I would NOT recommend Leo at all. I went there with my sister looking to upgrade her existing jewelry & their selection was limited, super expensive, & majorly lacking in customer service. They're located in the back of a smoke shop. I got pierced by Annie awhile ago and had a great experience. The place is clean and the staff are friendly.I love that these people also do things to help the community. Last Christmas, they helped one of their own raise money to pay for unexpected medical bills. Then, this past Friday, they collected water for Flint, Michigan. They always have some special going on during the month, so definitely take advantage of those. They'll usually post it to their Facebook page.I highly recommend this place not only for the quality service, but also because they give back and are selfless people. Went in today to get my septum done. Annie was kind, courteous and funny too! Everyone was raving about how good she is at septum piercings and how it's her favorite one to do. Even though I've had a lot ofpiercings in my day, I still get nervous - but she made me feel a lot better about the experience. The piercing itself was the least painful one I've ever had done. Yes, my eyes watered like crazy but the actual needle didn't hurt - just made my nose itch like crazy! She even gave me some good advice for the care of another piercing I got a few months ago, and also helped me put on a piece of jewelry I got for a difficult to change cartilage piercing. These guys at Studio Thirteen are seriously champions. I drove all the way from Fort Lauderdale to be tattooed by them. More specifically Leif. Who did the most magical job on my piece. I will most likely never go back to any other artist or shop! We both agreed he has a serious gentle hand, which made the first two hours of my shading truly easy. I'd definitely recommend making an appointment. These guys are booked months in advance. But sometimes you can get lucky and walk-in. Doesn't hurt to try. If anything just go check out the shop which is actually really cool, the atmosphere has such a great feel. Then take sometime and have a consolation. Have the best time! Read Less
