I had an amazing experience here. I even planned on going somewhere at first- but the piercer from the other place was weird and rude on the phone. I asked the piercer from the other place basic questions like how long she had been piercing because I was really nervous and she acted so offended and rude. I called here and the receptionist was SO POLITE and kind and happily answered all of my questions about the piercer which really put me at ease. Because of the pleasant experience on the phone I decided to come here because they seemed really professional.The place itself is very clean and inviting. Very professional all around. The piercer, "Sea" or Pam was freaking amazing. She has been piercing for 12 years, according to the receptionist, and you can tell she takes her profession very seriously. She took her time to get the dots for where the piercing would go and even measured to make sure everything was symmetrical and perfectly placed. She checked with me first and asked if I wanted her to explain every step of the process or if I preferred if she just told me when it was time to pierce. She knew I was nervous and asked if her talking about my life and hobbies were okay or if that would make me more nervous. She was so considerate I was honestly in shock. She knew that the piercing I was getting was very painful and asked if I had eaten that day, if I got dizzy or fainted easily, etc just to make sure I would be good and brought a soda and chocolate into the room in case I felt woozy (which I needed because I almost passed out which had nothing to do with her it was just a painful piercing). When I felt sick she immediately gave me the soda and told me to take as much time as I needed, reassured me, and made me feel very comfortable instead of embarrassed. She asked if I'd like to get the second one done and if not that it was okay and that it happened all the time. When I was ready she did the other one and made sure to check on me to ensure that I did not feel lightheaded again. She explained all of the after care and even gave me Q tips to take home to clean it. She was so nice and polite and I honestly don't think I can ever go anywhere else again. After that great experience, there is no going back. Let me just say, friends, that you truly get what you pay for. I've never given much thought to my eyebrows. Don't wax, pluck or otherwise fuss with them. But I recently decided to have Kali tattoo them and I cannot believe how much I love them! I have gotten many comments and compliments about how "having" eyebrows changes my facial appearance. So, now I experientially get why people pay attention to and fuss with them. But if you are like me and do not want to (or won't) take the time to pencil them in on a daily but still want the benefit of having nicely defined brows, I highly recommend considering the option of tattooing. Certainly do your own independent research before allowing someone to tattoo your face (duh) because not every tattoo artist offers cosmetic tattooing and not every cosmetic tattoo artist ought to be offering it. I admit I was marginally nervous even though I knew Kali was taught by Miss Heidi, who, even though she humbly resists the title, is, in my opinion, a master tattoo artist. But I am so pleased with the results that I'm on Yelp saying so (and I like being on the Internet about as much as I like fussing with my eyebrows.) Had a piercing done by Miss Pam about a month ago, which is healing perfectly. She's a great person, down to earth, fun to talk with and knows her stuff like a book. This time around I got tattooed by Michael and I couldn't be any happier with the overall process and the results. I got lettering work done on my outer legs, inner ankles and upper knees. The work itself was stellar, pristine lines and uniformed boldness throughout. The prepping was that of nuclear bomb technician, keen eye for detail and very thorough in getting everything exact. The hygiene was hospital like, plenty of lubricants, alcohol and all the tools opened and set up in front of you. And the convo was awesome, nothing better than shooting the s*** with a down to earth guy who is passionate about his line of work and brings on a sense of confidence and ease in the creation they're working on for you. Thinking about getting a piercing? I would defiantly recommend this place!! The piercer is so nice and wonderful. I went in to get a surface piercing and she told me for heads up that it’s 50/50 that it will reject itself meaning the piercing will come up and leave a horrible scar. She wanted to make sure I was 100% sure That’s what I wanted and that I understood the outcome that that can happen. She told me to go home and think about it, come back and I will give you a discounted price if you still want it. I went ahead a took her advice and I’m glad I did because I did more research and noooo that’s not what I wanted. I went ahead and got my septum piercing, I had it done 2 times before and she told me I had really bad scar tissue, she told me I can wait and put some kind of oil on it to heal it I guess and then come back because if she was to pierce it, the scar tissue will make my piercing crooked. I’m hard headed and was determined to get a piercing and went ahead an just got it. She was very gentle and patient with my nose, my septum is now healed and it doesn’t look crooked but im so thankful for all the info she had for me, she makes you feel so comfortable and welcome. While the shop is clean and nice, our tattoo artist Micheal had a shaky hand and did sloppy work. My husband and I got wedding ring tattoos and had to pay $100 each for a simple and small design. The heart on mine got elongated between the sketch and the actual tattoo and the lines are crooked and uneven. My husbands tattoo is just a solid band and the edges are very uneven as well. This is supposed to be a lasting and meaningful tattoo.. now we will probably have to find somewhere else to go in a few weeks to spend more money and have them cleaned up. Yesterday I walked in to get a consultation for one tattoo - Miss Heidi is very nice and professional. She made me feel very good about why I was there. The following day I returned for my tattoo. I decided to get an easier tattoo as my first. My artist was Nate, he was great. Very nice and chill, he appreciated my design and made me feel not self conscious about what I was getting. As for the tattoo itself it probably took about 10 minutes or so, very fast. Though I had to take a few second breaks. Certain areas hurt more than others. But he did it, and made me feel like a badass. Made sure I had chocolate and sugar to stay conscious. I definitely will be returning here for more tattoos - as soon as this one heals. With all my previous reviews, it is rare that I give a business a 1 or 5-star review. However, Miss Heidi's has earned their 5 stars. Often when I walk into a new studio I feel uncomfortable, and it takes a while for me to feel at ease (mostly due to anxiety). This wasn't the case when I first walked into Heidi's. I was greeted warmly, and immediately felt at ease. During that first 30 minute visit the staff worked with me so that they could understand the basic concept of what I was wanting. They took the time to listen to me, and I never felt rushed. Towards the end of this visit when we were looking to schedule something, I realized Heidi is usually booked out in advance. This posed a problem as I was only in town for two weeks. After learning the significance of the tattoo, Heidi took the time to fit me into her busy schedule. Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside of the shops control, Heidi wound up not being able to do my piece. The process did not stop here, though. She went over and beyond to make sure I got the piece completed while I was in town, bringing in an artist from another shop. Jayvo Scott drove an hour up to Orlando to help Heidi out and to finish my piece. So, long story short, while Heidi and her staff are amazing artists, they are also the most generous and caring artists I have ever met! Good email back and forth getting the initial design and then once it was time to come in there was really easy communication back and forth getting the design set. Lots of input from her and explanation on how/why certain ideas would or would not translate well onto the skin. Loved the outcome and very pleased with the process. Once it was time to pay, I was charged fairly. Only for the time actually back in the room getting set up and getting the tattoo applied, not charged for the design part which I thought was nice. I came to Orlando for a Harry Potter girls' trip (Universal that is) and we decided that we wanted tattoos before we came. Miss Heidi's was very accommodating and worked with our visiting schedule so that we could all get our tattoos on the same day (we wanted it our last night there since we didn't want to ruin it in the park!). Email communication was great and timely. Keylan was completely booked for the evening we requested but after finding out that we were getting HP tattoos, decided to stay late to do ours. Keylan worked with all three of us individually to perfect our tattoos that we wanted. And the session was a lot of fun! She has some great stories and is very charismatic. She was also very informative and kicked us all out in between jobs to fully sanitize the work space, which we really enjoyed. 2 hours after our arrival, all our tattoos were done and we are all extremely satisfied. Keylan was extremely diligent with making sure our placement was center and that we liked it before she started. This is my 3rd tattoo and by far, my best experience. Let's just say that between Australia and here, I have been in and worked with numerous tattoo parlors and this place hands down is the most laid back easy going parlor that I have ever stepped foot in. From just a simple phone call to a consultation one on one and to actually being tattooed. This place is amazing. The staff is incredibly friendly and easy going. The pricing is very reasonable and the work is unreal. I worked with Bob leach and he was fantastic. I took my head phones to listen to music and did not once plug them in. We spoke to whole time and it was very comfortable. Plus I was under the gun for 3 hours doing stomach work so that is never a good time but he made the world of better. I recently contacted Miss Heidi's about a cover up and forearm tattoo and was put in touch with Bob Leach, one of their artists. From the sketches, to the day of and final product, my experience at Miss Heidi's was great!All of the staff was very friendly and our artist Bob was outstanding. My fiancée went first with a coverup on her neck and then I went with my forearm piece. Even though it was a long day with the back to back sessions, Bod and the staff were so accommodating that the time flew by. I looked at Keylan's portfolio online and decided to make an appointment with her. I emailed the shop first to explain my idea and get an estimate. Pam was super helpful getting that all sorted out for me. Once I had an estimate I went ahead and paid my deposit and made the appointment. Fain is an awesome piercer. I have had many piercings before, but no one has ever taken as much time, concentration, and cleanliness as Fain.
