I had an awesome experience with Lucky at Lowbrow. I went in for a walk-in and he did an incredible job for an exceptionally fair price. I’ve had bad experiences with tattoo artists in the past so I really appreciated the professional and friendly environment. The piece I got was a bunch of herbs on the side of my forearm, the line work is very fine and detailed. He really made it a one of a kind piece. This shop is definitely a hidden gem in Orlando! Spent the majority of Friday the 13th here, the staff was super patient on a very hectic day.  Way more accommodating and welcoming than the other shops we went to. Very clean and sterile environment , and they do phenomenal artwork. This was my second time getting tattooed here and Noah provided me with a stunning tattoo. This place is awesome. I am super picky about where I go to get my tattoos, and I did a lot of research before deciding on Lowbrow. I couldn't be happier with how well everything went. First of all, the shop is so cute and welcoming. There were only two artists there when I went, and they were super friendly! They made me feel really comfortable and even offered me water. Daniel did my tattoo, a small tulip on my hip, and it looks beautiful. He took his time and made it extremely clean. Clean lines are really important to me, so I'm happy it turned out so nice. This place was amazing. Went in with a picture and Rick did an amazing job. I stopped at one other place down the street and was told that no one would do a hand tatto like mine because I don't have enough tattoos on my arms. I didn't really feel welcome there so I left. I decided to call Lowbrow and they said come in. They said my idea was dope and don't understand why I was told that. I was able to get work done that night. Came here for my first tattoo a few weeks ago. Noah was my artist, great guy with a steady hand. My boyfriend and I came back for a coverup tat on his back and saw Noah again. Very nice men work here. Sebastian is a great artist. Very friendly and personable. He was very patient and took the time to make sure I got what I wanted. All the employees are friendly and shake hands, introduce themselves, and make you feel welcome. Most shops the employees are stone cold and have to warm up to you. These guys are very friendly and genuine. I felt at home. The shop itself is very clean. I like the eclectic decor. The pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend this place. The low reviews on here are very surprising. There are always some bitter assholes who have to try and ruin someone's reputation. I have plenty of tattoos and will say that this is probably one of the best places I've been to in Orlando. See for yourself. I will be going back and bringing my husband for our future work! Came here for my first tattoo and my sister's...8th? We both had a great experience. They were really accommodating and helped us flesh out both of our designs. These guys were great and extremely professional. Beforehand, I was worried, this being my first, that I would have to deal with some snobbery. But that wasn't the case at all. Jeff was very attentive and very much a perfectionist with regard to what I wanted. My design had a lot of very precise geometric shapes, and the sketch I came in with wasn't overly helpful. Jeff spent his entire afternoon figuring out how to make it work exactly as I wanted, and then only charged me for a fraction of the time that it took to actually do it. I had an amazing experience while getting my fourth tattoo. First I called to make an appointment and they were super nice over the phone. Than when I got there they took care of me right away. Noah did my tattoo, I got a sunflower on my bicep. It took two hours and the whole time he kept asking how I was doing and making sure I was okay. This review ISN'T about me but about my experience with my friend whilst getting his tattoo. We saught out a walk-in place to get a add-on. We stopped by ascension which was around the block. The artist stated he couldn't get the piece done due to time which is understandable given they closed by 10. The next place we went to The Ink Spot close by. "Eric" seemed like he could do the work however there were a few concerns. First he looked stressed out. When someone looks stuff up on google and says they can add to existing work while saying things like "I don't even know what that is" means they are used to tracing and copying work. To add to the lack of artistry, eric stated he couldn't translate the reference piece into color. After declining, we made our way to Lowbrow where we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile. You can also tell by the environment that real artists work here. Noah promptly got up, looked at the references and said its no issue. He freehanded the piece, discussed changes and then got to work. While we waited, the other guys, Mac and Tony, made us feel welcome, laughing and discussing artwork. Thank you Noah. Thank you Mac. Had a great experience with these guys. Called ahead on a Friday to get a tattoo that evening and they were more than willing to accommodate on such short notice. They listen to what you would like to have done and give their own suggestions to make it a truly original piece of art. They go the extra mile and call a few weeks after you get your tattoo to make sure it is looking the way you want, and if something was missed they will take ownership and fix it. I visit Orlando once a year on vacation, and while I was here this year I really wanted a new tattoo as a special commemoration. I called a couple of weeks back and explained what I wanted. They were friendly and worked with me.  I planned to see Lucky, and even though there was a technical glitch that destroyed my planned art, he drew up a new design on the spot. He is a great artist and the shop itself has a really cool vibe with art and leatherwork everywhere. It was an incredibly enjoyable experience and I love my new art. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting art, tattoos or leatherwork done. I love the historic homes in town so when a business is located in one of them, I try to stop in.  I went by Lowbrow really just to feed my curiosity but found a cozy Art Studio/Tattoo Shop.  The guys that worked there were super friendly and inviting.  Gave me a quick tour of the space since I expressed an interest in it and I got to talk to a few of the artists that had their work hanging.  I've been thinking about getting a new tattoo so I'll definitely be going back.  Great use of space and contribution to the culture in Orlando. I have been looking for a coverup and none of the places I've contacted in Orlando seemed like the right fit for me.  I work in the Lake Eola area downtown, and I drive by this building every day.  Finally I decided to just give them a call and see what happened.  They squeezed me in for the next day and I went in to get my coverup done.The place was MUCH nicer than I expected inside--so much awesome creative energy flowing in there!  The paintings hanging all over the walls were incredible to look at while I waited for my appointment, and the super nice guy who greeted me and took down my info (Ben, I think it was?) was painting a beautiful picture of a boxer dog while I was there.The artist I saw, Lucky, did a fabulous job covering my unwanted old tattoo.  He took the reference pictures I had emailed and worked with them to design something of his own--he didn't just blatantly copy anything, but DEFINITELY got the feel and look I was going for.  He took his time but still finished in a timely manner.  The price was very reasonable.  :)Most importantly, I didn't feel weird or awkward in this place!  I've gotten tattoos elsewhere before, and I'm a pretty shy person by nature, so it's always been an awkward experience.  At Lowbrow, I was welcomed, and everyone was friendly.  I appreciate polite small talk!Overall I can definitely say I will be going to Lowbrow for all my work in the future!
