I just got my first tattoo, and Alex made the experience a great one. His artwork is top notch; the line work is crisp and the shading is beautiful. I could not be happier with my tattoo. His shop is clean, he works with fresh brand new needles every time (no cleaning in an autoclave). Alex is a very friendly guy, he puts you right at ease, and he's incredibly affordable. Mind you, I ALMOST took a star away when he said he likes Star Trek over Star Wars, but...given how amazing my tattoo looks, I suppose I can forgive it. Seriously though, I recommend him to everyone. I can say hands down that this was one of the best tattoo experiences I have had. Alex corresponded to me over email prior to my appointment to hash out the details. My best friend was coming into town from NC and even worked out her ink as well. We agreed that he would fix an anklet tattoo that needed re-colored. He also did a piece on my left wrist. He and his office manager Shay (sorry if I spelled it incorrectly) were very professional. Alex even helped me decide on a placement of one of the tattoos; he was super patient. I am so please with Inner Image Ink! Thanks to all the Yelp reviews, I decided I would get my 2nd tattoo here. I came from Daytona Beach without an appointment & just an idea. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted & felt so welcomed. I love the atmosphere of the store & was definitely intrigued with all the things they had- even the dance studio right next door! I will most definitely be coming back here for my future pieces! Having had tattoo work done from 2 other artists previous to Alex, the work I have received from him is by far the best work I have ever had, Alex even completed a tattoo of mine that was started by another artist and he matched it up so perfectly you cant tell it was done by two different artists. He does amazing work and all of my work  will be done by him in the future. As other people have stated in their reviews the shop has such a positive vibe and with Lacey teaching dance next door it is a very nice place. The art hanging on the walls is beautiful. Inner Image Ink is not your typical tattoo studio.  Not only  does Alex specialize in custom one-of-a-kind work, but the studio is filled with art!  Alex does fantastic work AND is one of the fastest tattoo artists around.Tina Santiago of Shakti Art does henna tattoos in the studios as well!  Right-freaking-on!Venture further into the space and you'll find Florida Tribal Dance, a tribal belly dance school/studio.Talk about a fantastic mix! I may be a bit biased because I've been getting inked by Alex for the past couple of years, but I am soooo happy he has opened a shop in the Ivanhoe Village!Alex is an excellent artist and you won't find one bit of flash art in this studio because he prefers to do custom pieces after a consultation. His wife's awesome dance studio is next door and the vibe here is relaxed and positive. Also worth noting are the amazing artists that have displayed their work on his walls (all for sale!).
