They are very respectful, friendly and clean environment. I had my dermal done and 2 and half years later still there no body rejection or fall out, still loving it. I had 2 tat done and it was decent priced and exactly how I wanted them. Took my daughter for her first body piercing her nose and it was a flawless experience. I came in for a piercing. The woman up front was friendly but the person doing the actual piercing could have been a bit more personable. I was in the shop maybe all of 10 minutes and the entire time I felt awkward. The actual piercing process was okay and I am pleased with the outcome but I guess I was just hoping for better customer service. I know the piercing is inexpensive but that shouldn't mean the service should be lacking. My piercer barely spoke to me. She marked where she thought the piercing should be, handed me a mirror and just did it. I expected a little more communication about the process ("it's going to be quick, it may hurt initially but it will quickly subside, dont be alarmed by the blood you may see, etc.") but maybe I was asking for too much. I have several tattoos but haven't gotten any sort of piercing in 16 years so I was a bit nervous. Luckily it was quick and I could get out of there. Just went and got my nose pierced for the first time last night and I can't get over how fast and simple the process was. I had been researching for a while trying to find a good place in Orlando. Some of my friends told me about highlander, so I went there. All the employees were super nice and didn't  hesitate to answer any of my questions. (Even though I felt like some were silly) I was greeted and immediately taken back to the piercing room. I got to pick out the color stud I wanted and everything was done in less than 10 minutes from the time I walked in. Super professional and clean. Definitely recommending highlander to everyone I know! Ps, they use a needle that already has a stud attached to it which was awesome because I was expecting to have a needle dangling out of my nose while they pulled the stud through. When I went to go get a piercing I felt like the employees where so unprofessional. When I was getting my piercing the lady who was doing it was so rude and wasn't even talking to me at all. Their customer service sucks and they don't know what they are doing.... I wouldn't go here if you want to experience a good employee and customer service because they suck in that area. Read Less

Well where do I start, with the crappy tattoo work and piercing work, the infections that come from this shop, or the fact that the owner tattoos 14 year olds without parent consent. My 14 year old came home with this god awful tattoo that she couldn't have even received without my consent. It ended up infected and cost us so much in medical bills. I live in OH, but visit FL every year. I went to Highlander Tattoo on 03/10/17 with my step-sister Maggie & my niece Marisa. I'd wanted to get my belly button re-pierced & Marisa said the piercer at this shop is very good, quick & inexpensive. I'd also wanted a tattoo done in memory of my step-brother, Chris. It wasn't busy when we went in, so I thought--why not get both done at same time, I'm already here. Monica was definitely quick. Belly ring was on in no time! Kevin the Tat Artist took the time to collaborate a design for my wrist tattoo. Even though it's not my first tattoo, I was still nervous & apprehensive. This place is horrible! I went for the 15$ nose piercing and the woman who did my piercing was extremely rude the first time she pierced me, not to mention she pierced my nose at the wrong angle which caused complications. I came back in 2 weeks later to resolve the issue and she was not happy to help me, she proceeded to try to shove a piece of jewelry in my clearly irritated, partially closed nose hole and after talking to the owner who was an asshole they wanted to charge me to re-pierce it correctly. I called the girl out for giving me attitude and they told me to just leave and not come back. You get what you pay for and this place sucks!!! Read Less

I went here for my upper cartilage and tragus they did an awful job used the wrong size and style of jewelry. I had to go to a different shop the next day or else I would have developed a terrible infection from the cheap jewelry they used first. Although the piercer who was a woman that didn't give her name was very nice her work was bad. Read Less
