I went to get my septum pierced there. It was the worst experience I've ever had getting a piercing. I have been here a few times (previously to get a septum piercing as well, which turned out fantastic, but that piercer is no longer there) but the service gets worse every time I go here. The guy who pierced my septum didn't even look at my nose before swabbing it with a q-tip and putting the clamps on. The piercing is crooked and SUPER low. He said maybe 5 words to me while I was there. I then went to another Atomic (Florida Mall), because I didn't want to return here, to see if I could get it fixed, or what I could do, and the piercer wasn't there, which is fine, but the woman at the front desk was extremely rude. Yes, I was a little frustrated but I tried to be polite and said I wasn't happy with it, and I just wanted to know how to proceed, and if I should take it out and let it heal to be re-pierced. I didn't expect a refund or to get re-pierced or anything, I just want to be happy with something that is on my face, and I was willing to pay an extra $50 + tip to pay for something that could have been done well the first time had even the tiniest bit of effort been put in the first time, but I will not be returning to atomic for anything. I understand that mistakes happen, but this wasn't a mistake, it was someone who didn't care and just wanted to go home, and could have said he didn't want to do it. Read Less

OMG.. thee best shop I've ever went to. After looking for a shop on a Sunday.. my first stop I was told they couldn't create what I wanted.. believe me it wasn't anything grandiose. .. and then told after being there an hour that they wouldn't have time for me and they still had an hour to go. Anyway it was OK BECAUSE I found this place. The most friendliest artists and the other customers that were waiting were the nicest kids... lol. We got to be one big family. Lol. I would give negative stars if possible. I was on vacation and lost my nose ring in the pool. I went there to buy a new one. I bought the screw one which I've never had before but thought it would be good for when I go back to the pool. For the life of me I couldn't get it in so went back and was told it was a 10- 15 minute wait and couldn't return it. Since it was such a pain to put in I bought the L shape one because that's what I had before. Apparently it might have started to close because I couldn't get that one to go all the way through. I went back and waited for the guy to finish. Once he did I explained what happened and he said well you know I have to charge you $10 to put it in. The two times I went the $10 was never mentioned. So after wasting $22 on two nose rings they still wanted to charge me an additional fee! That's complete BS!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO WAL-MART NEXT DOOR they sell cheaper nose rings with a better selection than this horrible place. Complete rip off. Read Less

Jesus did our tattoos and we were extremely pleased! We came in and presented the idea and he just ran with it! And added in extra colors to make the purple just beautiful. I was at another shop today to get my septum pierced and they said they no longer had a piercer. A girl in the waiting area referred us to Fish at Atomic Tattoo on Dean. The place was clean and everyone was friendly. I have had a monroe, tongue, nose, and belly button done as well as 5 tattoos but I am still a chicken every time! He was amazing and talked me through everything and it was a piece of cake. He calmed my nerves more than they have ever been before a tattoo or piercing and it was over in a pinch...no pun intended. ;p I would highly recommend him and will definitely be back! Was not too happy with my visit. I had a back tattoo with Ace that cost me over $750 which should have been half that. He accounted time of helping/greeting customers and answering phones towards my hourly time while me still sitting for my tattoo. Extremely unprofessional. He also failed to mention that his rate went from $100 to $125 after the first session. I'm giving 3 stars because the tattoo came out pretty well and the store was clean. The shop could be nice but there is absolutely nowhere to sit for people who are waiting, not to mention the employees aren't exactly friendly to those waiting either. Ive walked in and waited minutes before anyone even greeted me. Every time I've been there it was the same. Not very welcoming at all. As far as the tattoos go, I've seen some great work. i got a simple all black tattoo on my wrist. after it healed, i noticed it was not even filled in all the way. when i went back to get it fixed they told me it would be $50, and i only paid $35 for it. then i went in once for a clear stud for my lip and no one greeted me so i waited because they were busy. after about 10 min, still nothing, didnt even ask what i wanted. so i spoke to one of the guys and waited again, now as they helped people who came in after me. i will never go there again.
