I've been talking about getting another tattoo for a few months, I just didn't have the money or the time but Thursday I was on my way home. I was hanging out with a friend of mine and I asked if her would mind if I get a tattoo since this place parlor is like 3 min down from my house. He said sure. So I called up and the guy I talked to was super sweet and answered every question I had. I told him that due to bad experience with tattoo artists in the past I want the one with the most experience to do it. He said sure. When I got there I just said that I called a little bit earlier and Fain automaticly came to me and talked about the tattoo. The whole place was very clean and organized and it is a very chill place. I have another one that I've had for a little bit longer than 2 years I got from anther parlor that screwed it up. I asked her if she can touch it up, because there was just one little white spot where the lines connect, without charging more and she said sure. She was very professional but casual. We started talking about our cats and other stuff. I asked her about my lip piercing that I just got earlier that day and she told me about this spray I can get. Terrible experience! Painful while getting it and very painful afterwards. This tattoo took 4 weeks to heal! Not normal. I came here because I got quoted a good price, huge mistake. Mason gave me the sketching in black and white and chose the colors he wanted while he was tattooing me. The worst part is now there's color (green/black) pouring from my tattoo into the rest of my skin that will permanetly be there and scar tissue because he went way too deep with the needle. I got my first tattoo in February by Mason, and I just went back and got my second earlier this afternoon. Mason is an incredible artist; I showed him an idea of what I wanted, he drew it in front of me and asked my thoughts. I wasn't sure what colors I wanted and told him that I trusted his judgment. He didn't let me down. This tattoo is incredible. The color scheme and the design is so creative. Not only is his creativity impressive, but he is also fun to be around and when you're sitting for 4 hours at a time an outgoing personality makes it go by a lot quicker. Adner is the piercer and he is extremely professional, respectful, and so into what he does. He takes his time to make sure each piercing is measured out and angled correctly. He uses standard surgical steel piercings, nothing fancy which is good and keeps prices lower. He stayed a little late so that I could get four new piercings at one time. My daughter and I went there for Friday the 13th! We knew it would be busy so we got there at 8:30 to be 1st in line. Someone came out a half hour or so before they opened and took our names. This was my 1st tattoo. I designed my own. I was super nervous. Josh tattooed us. He was super nice. He made me feel at ease. He did a great job. Wonderful (tragus) piercing experience. Michael was so nice and did such a great job - I barely felt a thing. Had a small issue with the piercing coming out due to an issue with one of the balls, and came back the next night, and an AWESOME girl with bright red hair, whose name I sadly forgot (sorry, I'm awful with names!!), helped me get it back in free of charge. I wish I remembered her name, because she was absolutely fantastic. This place is great! I got my nose pierced here and the staff was extremely professional. It has been my easiest piercing so far with no complications!I also got a tattoo by Shane recently and I have fallen in love! He put so much detail into my design and created a beautiful piece. This is my second tattoo and I can definitely say that I had a better experience with Shane than I did with my first tattoo! Shane was great to talk to and an awesome tattoo artist! Super awesome experience getting my second nostril pierced. Adner was VERY precise and made sure that the both piercings were symmetrical, he used alignment tools and everything lol. The shop is clean and super sterile..., everyone that works there is awesome,... the tattoo work is tight,... Coming here was a nightmare. I like to see reviews online before going to check out their business but man they must have changed a lot since 2014. We went there on the Friday 13th and knowing that it is something they do often one would think they have it all figured out by then. They kept bumping up people in the line although we were one of the firsts in the line (after waiting for 2 hours before opening we had memorized everyone who was ahead of us, since we were between the dozen it was not much to remember). They kept us in the dark about who was next in line, and no one had any idea whenever we asked. The list they have you fill up is a bunch of non-sense because no one knew where it was, not even the guy who had it did not know where the first pages of the schedule was. The one that took care of one of us was Shane he was great and he took his time to work on our friend's tattoo. However, our other 2 friends did not get the same treatment. Unfortunately we did not get his name, they had requested with Mason but after seeing that girls kept getting ahead of us by the front desk we decided to drop our preference and that seemed to bother Mason but yet he did not offer any solution to the problem, he just gave us a face of disgust and then walked away. The new tattoo artist had known that we had put up a complain at the front desk because of the people they kept bumping up. However, he did one of our friend's tattoos quick and fast with an attitude and the other tattoo he was requesting could not be done as it was too large, and we would have understand had he not dismissed us to quick and try to help us find an alternative to the problem, it was obvious that he did not wanted to tattoo us. We felt pushed out of the way, not wanted, and as they did not wanted to help us in the least. We never called out names, never yelled or raised our voices, we were patient by waiting long hours, and we gave them several times to redeem themselves but in the end no one (except Shane) did a good job of taking care of us. A word of advise, do not go to their Friday 13 Deal after years of promoting it they have no idea on how to handle busy days (try to go by making appointments) and finally if you are going on the friday 13 be the very first one on the line or otherwise everyone else does not matter. I can't say enough good things about this business. What a great group of people. Went in to get my belly piercing fixed. Tesa was so sweet and kind and has a smile on all the time. She was so awesome and really took a great deal,of time to make sure my belly was done correctly this time. And because i visited their web site I knew the secret word to get a good deal. Got my nose pierced here yesterday and I loved it! Alex was my piercer and he was great. Very professional, explained the process all throughout and took great precaution in sterilizing all the tools (some were even packaged). The piercing itself turned out great, and did not hurt as much as I would've thought. I bought an aftercare kit and have been using it diligently. I expect my piercing to heal perfectly well. I had recently gotten a new nose piercing from another studio and was having issues with it, so I decided to come in and see what Age Of Ink's Piercer had to say. What had happened was during the night before I stopped by my stud had fallen into my piercing, and skin had grown over it. However when I woke up I was able to push the stud back through, but threw out the day the stud kept slipping back into the hole and my piercing kept bleeding on and off. The studio where I had originally gotten my nose piercing was about an hour drive away, so I decided to stop by some place more local, cue Age Of Ink! The second I came in and explained what my problem was Alex stopped what he was doing and came to help me. It turned out the stud that was originally put in was way to short and Alex kindly took out the original stud and put in a new longer one! Alex was amazing the entire time and was very patient with me, even when I had to take a minute because I felt faint due to the fact I had not eaten all day. I never felt rushed even though Alex had other clients waiting. Alex totally rocks and is one of the kindest people I have ever met! A few friends and I decided to get tattoos a few weeks ago. So we began to do some research on artists and shops in the area. Multiple friends of ours suggested Mason at Age Of Ink. So we decided to give him a try. We didn't make an appointment and showed up kind of later in the day. Around 9:30 in the evening. After getting into the shop we got to meet Mason. he was currently tattooing but asked if we would wait for him a few moments up front so he could touch base. After a few minutes he came up and began talking with us. he was very comical to say the least. He did mention that he is close to appointment only but wouldn't mind staying late to tattoo us. I guess he thought we were just as fun. The shop usually closes at 10 on a wednesday but he ended up staying there with all three of us till about 12:30 am, and honestly didn't slack off at all. We all love our tattoos. The lines are so clean and they are all healing soo well. I'm no tattoo expert but I have had a few from other shops, and Masons is by far the best. I came in on friday the 13th for a special friday the 13th tattoo. The line was unreal but the vibe and atmosphere were a lot of fun. I did have to wait a few hours to get my tattoo but Mason made sure to take care of me. In fact they all stayed very late after the shop was supposed to close to take care of everyone. I was one of the last people in there towards 4 in the morning and everyone was still busy. I wasn't expecting very much for 13 dollars but Mason really did do an exceptional job. He gave me a one of a kind tattoo and a decent size. I got way more than I expected and I am honestly looking forward to coming back to spend some money on a larger tattoo.
