I give tattookah all thumbs up. I've had HORRIBLE migraines since I was 4. Doctors said that they couldn't find the cause of them. Nothing helped, medicines, nothing. They would get so bad that I couldn't eat, and I'd get nauseated. I was recommended to get the Daith Peircing, and I was hesitant about it. I got the Peircing and it was like a weight was lifted from my head. It felt like an air bubble popped, and it was the best feeling in the world. My peircer, whom I recommend to everyone - FAITH. Is a go to peircer. Shes friendly and talkitive, and jokes, and makes you relax and let your guard down and enjoy time while get periced. Tattookah is the place to go! I have a long history of migraines, I get treatment every 3 months for them & take daily medication & still have break through headaches. Did research, decided to get the Daith piercing, bilaterally. Found that Faith @Tatookah was HIGHLY recommended!! I now know why!! She is **AWESOME**. She explains everything step-by-step, she gets A+++ with hand washing!!! Calm, personable! These piercings did not hurt, she explained how to care for them (had a nose piercing elsewhere & was given no instructions). The shop is very clean! Don't know what else to say....they are terrific! My boyfriend and I did a walk in and from the beginning they seemed annoyed about us walking in.. had what seemed like minor attitudes and felt like a bother, but we just brushed it under the rug... when my boyfriend told them what he was wanting the reply was "that is a female tattoo" it was suppose to be a very meaningful and close to his heart tattoo and they completely butchered it to make him not want to get it.. then I showed the girl the tattoo I saw on pinterest and she rudely answered "we are on google.. NOT Pinterest.." I felt like we were inconveniencing them on so many levels.. every time she would show me a picture of what i was wanting if i didn't like it she seemed to have an attitude under her breathe at me.. I felt pressured to make a decision for a picture that i wanted, I got two tattoos there at the same time and my boyfriend also got one. one of the tattoos that i got was suppose to be "semi matching to his" it is not at all what the picture i chose looked like and it is much bigger in size than my boyfriends, the detail of it is that of a beginner, not of someone who has been tattooing for as long as he told me. I'm not too happy with it and to spend 400$ for two tattoos, (I feel like is a bit much for what i got) I expected a hell of a lot more than what i got for that price. only good thing I have to say is that the artist offered to stay after hours to finish my second tattoo however it does not look the way it should.. Now i will be going to fatkats to have Dan Loose (my normal artist who was booked up for a month and a half and for good reason as i see now) fix what they messed up. we wont be back. -- I also recall one of the workers making a comment about "charging more money for inconveniencing her" when she was referring to a different situation, so it makes me wonder that since we were walk ins if we were charged a lot due to being an "inconvenience". Shane is AMAZING! He takes time to really grasp what you want and then works from there. Not only was his customer service fantasic but he is a fabulous tattoo artist taking care in his craft. Shane used his passion and spent a great deal of time on tattoo placement, shading and insuring our tattoos came out incredible.Everyone in the shop when we came in as walk ins was super nice, helpful and friendly.Don't even give the one negative review on here any thought, the person who wrote it obviously doesn't understand reviews, business ediquette nor yelp in general. I just got tattooed there by Allen. He did the Grateful Dead skeleton and roses. He did a great job. Couldn't be happier with it. Gonna have him do some more work on the back of my leg. The place isn't your normal tattoo place. It kinda looks like a salon which scared me but they do great work. I had a chance to look at the 2 other artists work Shane and Chase while taking a break from mine and they do phenomenal work also. Shane looks like a black and grey specialist. Def wanna get a piece from him soon. Everyone in there seemed real cool. Seams you can't go wrong on any artist you pick from there. Read Less
