Had a great experience today at Cherry Hill. My design was drawn on a picture of my arm and we were able to make minor adjustments. It turned out better than I imagined. This shop is a professional tattoo art studio and care about the work they do. Tattoos are permanent so you need to know exactly what you want, and where you want it. Don't expect these guys to decide what to put on your body. They will give expert advice on what works and what doesn't, but in the end it's your body. I will be going back for more work. I came in to have a year-old nose piercing looked at that was done by another shop, as it was not healing correctly. The piercer told me about better care info and took a lot of time to explain. Have tried to have tattoos done there many times. They will quote a price with an idea of where you want your tattoo and when you go back its always a bad place or the job is going to be harder than expected and they double the original price quoted. This has happened 3 times already and once they sent us to their Bonita Springs location after setting an appointment in Naples. Upon speaking to the guy who had just doubled the price on my sons tattoo implied " That I was accusing them of not wanting to tattoo people of color or mixed race" Which I had never implied! I simply asked why is there always a problem and that was his response to me after telling me not to ever step foot in that store again because he has a mixed child! Very disappointed with this business. My daughter has gotten two tattoo's from here and went to get a third . One her third visit she decided not to do the tattoo because she didn't feel comfortable with it. They said she took up their time and charged her $75.00 for no tattoo. Worst experiences here. I went to this place for my first tattoo because I heard that they were the cleanest in Naples. It was a special tattoo I was getting on my adoption day and the tattoo artist treated me very rudely. He didn’t want to give me the tattoo I wanted and even when I compromised with him and took his advice to get my tattoo bigger he made rude comments the whole time and messed up my tattoo. There’s a space missing in the top of one of my Roman numerals and did it too deep so my skin is raised even a year and a half later. I tried to give them a second chance and the people were very rude to me. Again this was supposed to be a special tattoo I was getting with my mom before going back to college and they were very rude to me and told me it was ok to make an appt 30 minutes before close but when I called 45 minutes before close while on my way they informed me “oh we never do tattoos 30 minutes before close I don’t know who told you that” when it was the same person who told me that in the first place. Rudest people I’ve ever encountered. NEVER go here if you want to be treated like a human being. Do not recommend to anyone they need a serious attitude adjustment. Read Less

The rudest tattoo place in SWFL! Was treated very rudely one night by a male staff member. I walked in to see the cost to add to a prior tattoo. Was told my prior tattoo artwork "sucked" and I should have had my tattoo done at Cherry Hill in the first place. I explained that it was done 8 yrs prior when I lived out of state. Very disappointed with Naples Cherry Hill. Called on a Sunday about 3 tattoos. They told us to come in. 2 were for minors. We went in. They were then too busy to accommodate us. After lectures about where they would and would not tattoo minors... Gave me the directions to Bonita. Told me they were NOT busy at all. Gave me info on where to get paperwork notarized for minors. I then went to Bonita location. THEY WERE VERY BUSY!!! They had. NOT been given a courtesy call from the Naples location... Very, very poor customer service!!!! I’ve had tattoos at other shops done and I have to say this is by far my favorite tattoo shop and my favorite experience! Dave Walz made my experience very personal! Also the piece he did on me was absolutely amazing, he took his time and showed the excitment about doing the work which makes the experience that much better! I live in Michigan and I will travel back down there for him to do more work on my leg. I would recommend if you’re living in Florida or traveling you should go see him! I decided to get a small tattoo here because I heard it was very clean. The guy that helped me was very rude and definitely over charged me for what I wanted. I was new to the tattoo game so I just went with the price. I got my last name (love) and it was about the size of a quarter, I was charged $90... I have talked to multiple people that have said the same thing about being over charged here. The guy that helped me was not very helpful and didn't seem to even want to help. I went in for my first tattoo not even really knowing what i wanted. Chris was able to take my rough idea of what i wanted and put it on paper. I was floored when i saw it. It was well beyond anything I could have imagined. Chris was informative regarding any small changes i wanted to make. he would explain to me why they would or would not work and i completely trusted his judgment. Cherry Hill used to be my regular tattoo shop simply because I was young and everyone else seemed to love it there. I got three of my tattoos there and every time I went in, it felt like I was bothering the guys working there. The final straw was when they told me that there's no way I could get a cover up that I was desperate for and tried referring me to an expensive tattoo removal company. I always paid my money and tipped graciously because they have good work there. I have since switched tattoo places (who immediately said they could do my cover up no problem) and am always spoken to like a regular person looking to get a tattoo, rather than a bother. Read Less

I got a great tattoo design done on a very sensitive and painful spot. The foot. After 2 hours and lots of breathing, Chris did an awesome job on the work and the time on my new art. All of my tattoos are from Cherry. I love this place! I've priced tattoos elsewhere and always end up at Cherry. I've since decided to go no where else and only to cherry and can't wait until my next appointment! Luckily for me, it won't be painful. I came in and Alex did my and my daughters little wrist butterflies, they came out real good so I wanted a cover up on my right arm and it was to be a butterfly garden with some colorful flowers and a few butterflies. I spent 5 hours of chair time and $600 plus a $50 tip. So I go home and in love with my ink of course well on the 3rd day I got pus blisters all inside the new tattoo. I called Alex and at first he said he would look at it but he would have to call me with a tim...e. Needless to say that time NEVER came and he left town and I was left with a $600 spotted tattoo. When the blistering popped and left and so did my ink. The flowers are drawn terrible and you can still see my cover up plane as day. I'm just so dishearted. He drew leaves on top of other leaves. I love cherryhill and so does my daughter and we can't let what happened between me and Alex compromise how we feel about your company, I even think Alex is a good artist I just feel he dropped the ball and unfortunately it was my hard-earned money that paid for his mistakes. I have a little white blotches all through my tattoo now and you can see my other tattoo clear as day and that was one I paid the whole $600 for in the first place was so you couldn't see the cover-up.
