They had a Sunday Free Piercing special .. NO WHERE IN THAT post did it say it was only for EAR piercings. Nor did it specify "Simple Piercings Only"  I drove about  an hour and half to get to bird road since I live down south. They told me it was ONLY your second and third ear piercing that is free. They did absolutely nothing to help me . On the contrary all they did was tell me that "it's always been that way".. When I have personally gotten my tongue piercing FOR FREE when they had this special . I don't recommend ANYONE coming to inkaholiks this place is a HUGE SCAM. I spoke to the Manager and Piercer directly and again they left with two unsatisfied customers and did nothing to help our situation but knock a few "Dollars" off a FULL price piercing. Read Less

Walked in and Mustapha took care of us! He was extremely personable! Took his time to explain the process, choose the correct size of the Tattoo and helped choose a suitable location for the tattoo. This location has been here since 2012 and the company began  in 2007. Have always heard great things about the place and the artists! Know many people that have been here repeatedly to get several tats, including my son.  The artists are very detailed and yet comforting. Nice shop. People are nice, make you pay before you get anything done. Cash only. They put specials to bring you into the door but it ends up being 2 times more than what you expected to pay. I'm giving 5 stars mainly for my tattoo artist Juan Insecta. I've always wanted to get a watercolour tattoo but I couldn't find a really good watercolour tattoo artist in Vancouver, Canada. Then it click on me that Miami is known for having great tattoo artists and I'll be going there to watch the Heat vs Warrior game during our vacation to Florida. I searched around 15 tattoo shops website and checked every tattoo artist portfolio before I found Juan Insecta's watercolour designs at Inkaholik. I immediately messaged him and was able to book an appointment with him. I don't have any specific style or design for what I wanted to get done. I have a few saved pictures here and there but I wasn't set on anything. Juan is very nice, he listens and pay attentions on the things you wanted and also give suggestions. We discussed and decided on the design together. Which is nice, as some tattoo artist tend to push their ideas to you too much that you'll feel like you are being force. I also had a tattoo behind my ear that I wanted to cover up, I asked Juan if he can cover it up without making it too big since my tattoo artist in Vancouver couldn't do it without making it really big. He said he can get everything done in 4 hours, I was doubtful at first since I'm getting a big tattoo and a cover up. But he did in fact finish everything in 4 hours, I was very impressed!!!I was blown away when I saw my new tattoo, it's nicely done and beautiful!!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVEEEE it!!! My new favourite tattoo!!!Even the cover up was pretty good too, especially when he didn't have any sketches; he did it Freehand!Juan is VERY TALENTED and AMAZING!!! So I just replied that I'll do it later since I don't know yet.It's the same thing with the waiver too, there's things you have to sign that you'll only know once the procedure is done but their already making you sign it beforehand. So please ensure you're reading the waiver before signing it.Note: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH!!! For a tourist like me, it was very inconvenient to carry a big amount of cash with me. When I found out it was cash only, I was very surprised since it's an award winning tattoo shop and the prices of the big tattoos are pretty expensive. Who'd really go around carrying that much cash on them??? What if your tattoo cost $4,000? It was insane! I was able to withdraw some cash on the nearby bank but just enough to pay for my tattoo since there's a withdrawal limit. I feel sooo bad that I couldn't give Juan a tip especially when I'm really happy with his work. I ended up just giving him some Canadian dollars which probably only cost $20 bucks with the exchange rate. Misleading af and staff is just rude. Not good communication, had me follow and write good reviews before agreeing to give me any info on tattoo or piercings. Went here with a friend for their "Sunday special". They don't specify ANYTHING about the specifics of their tattoo prices or what piercing is free. They offer a single free lobe piercing if you follow them on everything, give a good review, and put their stickers on your car. They advertise "palm size tattoo for $50" but they hike up the prices when you get there. Wanted 3 words written on my arm for the $50 special, they wanted to charge $80 plus tip. Not going back. Honestly had a bad experience here. Came to get my septum pierced with my friends & mine came out fine but was very upset with how crooked my girlfriends septum came out. It's a piercing, it's permanent, I don't understand why do a piercing without precision. We pay for this and get a shit piercing done. I'm not in any way upset with how my tattoo came out. I went to inkaholik tattoos to get my first tattoo and after the tattoo was done I was not told any information on how to take care of it. It was not wrapped nor cleaned with antibacterial soap which it is supposed to be. Me not knowing how to take care of my tattoo is probably my fault but it was my first tattoo and I'm very upset that if I hadn't done the research right after I wouldn't have taken proper care of the tattoo and it wouldn't have been pretty. Im just writing to let other know about this inkaholiks and how my experience went. I needed an old tattoo covered up on my right arm, I had a good experience in spite of all the bad reviews I'm reading.I had a very clear idea of what I wanted, I took in a reference picture of the style and size I wanted, we discussed size and placement and agreed on a price, after that the artist customized the piece and did the outline, I did three sessions with Adrian , he was curtiuos, punctual , and very knowledgeable with cover ups, he had to freehand certain sections as he was finishing the tattoo to make it perfect. I know this review might be in contrast with the others but I did have a good experience.Tips: be punctual with the appointments you set, dont be affraid to discuss pricing upfront, if it's a cover up be respectful of the artists opinion as he has to work with whatever came before.P.S. the face on my chest was done at the first session it's 6 weeks healed on the picture, the half sleeve is fresh but I will try to post a follow up picture once its healed. Horrible customer service specially the woman that give you the form to fill up as soon as you pass the door . My wife and I are regulars here. We've gotten our last 9 and tattoos and counting actually have an appointment for next Wednesday... but the atmosphere is great we always get good deals here especially since we come as a pair but this place has become our homage especially when we have the itch to get some ink. We live in Pembroke Pines and have no problem driving to Kendall to satisfy that itch lol but it is really good and fair and the artist are honest and considerate with soft hands I definitely recommend this place to anyone I don't care about the drive at all I go with quality over price especially since I'm going to mark myself for life.  And our artists are usually Juan ( @inkaholikinsecta ) and Ray ( @ray_inkaholik ) is their Instagram pages to see some of the work they do. I really did not like the environment. Aside from that I got two tattoos done here, One was to complete the one I already had done by another tattoo person in the Kendall Inkaholiks which I loved, I wanted him to complete it but sadly he moved on to another shop! (gladly) The next person who did my tattoo didn't do the circle correctly at all, I honestly wished I would've just left it how it was, because now I just ant to redo it completely just cause of that error. The one person who I would go to next time for sure, if I were to book with is Tony. He did my second tattoo, very simple but I loved his style. The reason why I'm giving this place one star is because of its piercings, I got pierced here twice. My first time was to re-pierce my belly button and I left with it bleeding, which with my first piercer never happened. Boy, I am glad my daughter set up my YELP ACCOUNT!In this city where rudeness and lack of respect is prevalent I did not expect it from a tattoo parlor. If you would consider this place one. (It is more like a 711/Sedanos for tattoos).After entering and being treated as if I do not belong there I thought maybe they are having a bad day. That was not what was going on. I know I am an older woman... I have cash just like everyone else! Their lack of respect and customer service saved me from making a huge mistake and getting a tattoo here. You would think people that wear tattoos understand what it is like to be treated poorly by others.... and maybe just maybe, the workers would be nice and open to helping others for MONEY. I went to another tattoo parlor named 'Pair of Dice" and was told I am in much better hands. I will drive to anywhere in this city and spend however much $$$$$$$$$ as long as I am treated with respect and taken seriously. The artist in pair of dice said I was lucky I chose to leave that place. Their artists are always booked with 'cover ups' from former customers of INKAHOLIK. He stated their artists are trash and not humble of said trash. They don't mind since they are always very busy correcting mistakes made by INKAHOLIK.DO NOT BOTHER COMING HERE. I'll start by saying that I love the tattoo I got, as it's more or less what I've been wanting for forever. I say more or less because upon walking in there's loud music blasting and people everywhere. You fill out a form and wait to be called. When you're called they find what you want online and the guy only spoke Spanish. I speak more of a Spanglish and for something I am permanently going to get on my body, I want to make it clear to what I want with no communication issues. They seemed rushed to give me my tattoo and ready to move to the next person. He seemed so rushed in fact, that he was actually going to leave me with part of the shading NOT filled in. I had to tell him to finish it and shade in the parts that were missing. I still didn't notice that some of my line work was not filled in and will have to go back in a few days as there are spots missing and I need them to touch it up. I was very disappointed with the customer service I received. I would suggest going somewhere else to receive better customer service and a more personal touch to your experience. I was hoping to be able to give my artist an idea and they would draw it and have it more personalized. Very disappointed that my tattoo was taken from the Internet and looks just like someone else's. I love it but would have wished for something more personal. Don't be fooled because you see the name "Inkaholic" everywhere. I have no issue with their work but what makes it sketchy is before you even get the piercing/tattoo is they make you fill out a google review in order to get a deal that they promote. How can I write a good review on a service if I haven’t received it yet? So we were just trying to write “good” something simple and quick, just so the worker there could tell me no you need to write more be detailed. Again I haven’t even been here for 10 minand you want me to advertise for you. Completely unprofessional and makes you think are they really that good or just so mainstream that you think you should go. Oh then they took us to the back to get 1 nose piercing and we waiting there for about 30-40 min extra. If you want something generic and cheap fine go to them. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PIERCING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I went in for their $5 piercing specials and I thank God that I didn't actually pay full price for the piece of crap service that they provided. Piercer was completely inexperienced, to the point that I told him I wanted a conch and he didn't understand until I had my friend show him her own conch piercing. He then proceeded to put his gloves on, answered a phone call mid piercing session, and then didn't change the gloves. Keep in mind that a phone has 10 times more germs than a toilet seat, and he's touching your fresh wound with those nasty gloves. Did not sterilize any of the jewelry which does not come in a sterilized package, but with 100's of other pieces of jewelry in a drawer. Pierced my conch completely crooked, and when he went to put the back of the earring on, he dropped it and got another back from another earring. After he pierced me with a halfhearted "Ok, one, two", he didn't even say goodbye and didn't give me a lick of aftercare instructions. I told a, what I presume is a manager at the store, Blue, about the predicament and he thanked me for telling him about the ordeal, but didn't seem overtly receptive. DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE, there's a saying in Spanish that states that "Lo barato siempre sale caro" and I can't think of any example that fits it better than this grade F piercing shop. (I'd like to give a shout out to Worm though, he's pierced me once and he actually does a great job, I'm sorry he has to work in a parlor with such a horrible reputation.)When I related this story to my friends, one of them told me that when she got her forward helix pierced at this same Inkaholiks the piercer used her as an example without her prior consent to teach her apprentices and left the needle in her ear for about 5 minutes while she explained to the apprentices. AGAIN, DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE! GO TO A PLACE WITH PIERCERS THAT ACTUALLY HAVE EXPERIENCE AND CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS AND NOT JUST CASH. A PIERCING PLACE THAT AT LEAST HAS PRE-STERILIZED JEWELRY. TRUST ME, IT'LL BE WORTH THE MONEY WHEN YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A PIERCING THAT'S NOT CROOKED AND/OR INFECTED. Read Less

Not one for leaving bad reviews but my experience here yesterday was ridiculous. I had been to this shop once before for their $20 small tattoo deal, and while I wasn't blown away with the customer service or my tattoo I was still comfortable getting a small simple tattoo there. There were about 5 people who were there before who all got helped fairly quickly. I was waiting for over an hour and everyone who came in while I was waiting was in and out the door before I was even called back. Probably about 15 people who came in after me got tattooed or pierced while I was waiting. I finally got called back to an artist's chair and he started to set up. He then got up and walked outside without saying anything. I assumed he needed something from his car or a smoke break and so didn't think much of it. But after sitting in the chair for about 25 minutes he still wasn't back. I went to my car to grab a sweater and as I walking back into the shop I saw him get out of a car parked in the lot and walk back in. I looked over at the car and there was a woman sitting in there, so I guess his conversation with her was more important than the tattoo I was paying him to give me. Once back inside, he asked me where I wanted my tattoo. I told him and he placed it. I checked in the mirror and everything was fine. He then began to tattoo me. Once he was finished he automatically wrapped it up without letting me see it first or asking if I like it. I told him I was going to go get change for a tip from the guy at the counter, and when I came back 60 seconds later he was gone. Never told me his name, asked me mine, asked if I had any questions, apologized for the wait/him leaving, or told me a SINGLE THING about aftercare. Luckily I already have a few tattoos and know all these things, but my tattoos were not really visible so he didn't know this, and even if he did, I've never had an artist not go over aftercare, even if I tell them I don't need them to. I left his undeserved tip at the counter and left. While walking to my car, I saw that he was back in the car with the same woman. Not sure what was going on but if it was that important then maybe he needed to take the day off of work instead of giving inferior service to paying customers. This shop is nearby me and cheap, but after this experience I will never be going back. *The tattoo looks perfectly fine, but I definitely would've gotten it done someone else and paid more if it meant not having to deal with this situation. Went in 6 months ago and the wait was long so we left. Came back today and had a great experience. My best friend and I decided to get piercings.  I got my tragus and she got her tragus and both lower lobes. Ari came over after filling out the forms and gave us a lil run down and shared why she loved wear she worked. She mad us feel so comfortable! Worm then did our piercings, he was very efficient! They do have good specials but keep in mind that the 5$ special for piercings is cash only. Everyone one is super kind. So I get there with my friend we fill out paper work to get a piercing and pay. We sit down for a while and then they called up about 6 people to go to the back to where they're going to do the piercing. I thought this was weird why not let us stay sitting while you do the first few people that came together (what if they didn't want strangers seeing them get pierced?). So we stay in the back standing until it's our turn. We got told that snake eyes never come out straight but I thought it wasn't going to be obvious unless you really looked at it because I've seen people get it and it's super straight boy was I wrong. They marked my tongue and I said it wasn't straight and that's when they made the remark I should've picked up on that and not gone through with it but there's no refunds. Long story short piercing was done super slanted (see picture attached) and I took it off the next day. I showed it to someone else that does piercings and they said that those piercings can be done straight. Also keep in mind that they record you as you're getting the piercing but don't notify you beforehand. Maybe I should've read the paper work and there's something about that in there. Something completely unrelated to the visit:MOST of Mr. Colombia's followers are fake he follows a whole mess of people when they follow back he unfollows them. He's done this to me about 3 times already so I just blocked him on instagram. That's why it seems that he has all these followers and is barely following anyone. In conclusion this place is mostly hype and keep in mind this is based off a piercing experience I haven't gotten a tattoo through them and probably won't if a piercing can't be done right, (I didn't even move when the needle was going through my tongue) which I ended talking off the next day. This place has good specials...which unfortunately are not advertised at the shop as they are on social media. Came here with some friends for their $5 piercing specials and $20 simple tattoo deals. They were about to charge us regular price when I brought up the special and then they pretended they weren't aware of it, until I showed them the picture. They proceeded to charging us as advertised but made it look like a burden. Apart from that the place smells like weed, so much that you are high from simply walking in. The smell on its own makes the sanitation crap. They did a good job with my friends tattoos, the piercings process was painful in comparison to previous piercings in the same areas and a lot more bleeding. The person was too relaxed and had to push through about three times for needle to go completely through. Lots of blood and quite some pain. Have not visited another inkaholik location but will definitely not be visiting this one again. Would have been better off paying regular price somewhere else. Read Less

At first I thought they were expensive, but after "shopping" around for over a year, I realized that they're not. You really get what you pay for, and they are worth every penny. They always play music here, sometimes reggaeton, trap, and metal music. I'm a big metal head so I requested some songs that they usually wouldn't play there and they played them which really helped me relax for my tattoo. I'm a big metal chicken lol no not really but it did help me feel better about being in a small place filled with plenty of people, boy do these guys get a lot of customers, and for good reason!
