Worst tattoo shop I've ever been to. The guy who did my tattoo asked for the money up front before starting (which I found sketchy) and then spent 20 mins fiddling with the tattoo gun which led me to believe he had no idea what he was doing. He also had no tattoos on himself which made me question his ability. Once I saw him fiddling with the gun, I told him I had changed my mind and that I wanted my money back so I could get my tattoo done somewhere else, but he told me there were no refunds and wouldn't give me my money back. Keep in mind that I had found the tattoo design prior to coming into the shop, so it wasn't as if he had wasted time drawing up the design for me. Not wanting to waste my money, I chose to get the tattoo done, which I regret. The lines are all wobbly and uneven and now I'm going to have to go to a different place to get them touched up- worst customer service ever! Read Less

This tattoo parlor has many wonderful picture from how these artists do their fabulous job on cuetomers! I came here with my friend and I told the tattoo artist what I wanted, and even showed him a picture (I can't remember his name). He went to the back to draw it, he asked me if I liked it and I said yes. So he's placing it and I thought everything was perfect. When he finishes I look at it and the lines look kinda shaky. So I just thought to myself maybe it's just the ink he didn't wipe off, it'll look better when I shower. Wrong. The lines aren't even straight, the whole tattoo is pretty much all lines. Read Less

Was in Miami for a day with my bff and decided to go get a tattoo, we found this location as we were GPSing another shop. Walked in and was greeted by an artist, discusses designs and pricing immediately. I didn't actually get a tattoo--bff did, but I got a REpiercing. Her tattoo came out very nice, I was definitely in love with it. I didn't think that price was great--but I understand everything in Miami Beach is pricey..so it was a good price for Miami Beach! The artist was a good person--which made the visit all the greatest! There was also another worker present..he was very...unprofessional. The piercing guy was quick and quiet! Since I walked in he was so nice & actually took his time to help me figure out what it was that I had in mind and brought my idea to life!!!! His hand was so light I couldn’t believe I was getting tattooed (& I have many). Phil is extremely professional and has your best interest in hand 💯. I went in looking for a SIMPLE quote on my bicep. I ended up with a quote that looks sloppy and absolutely horrible. I was crying my eyes out when I saw the finished product. He reassured me BEFORE the tattoo that he would give me a great tattoo because he had 20+ years of experience. He argued with me saying that it was my fault for the tattoo being messed up and that he's is not "a computer" so it can't be perfect. I'm so upset to have this shit on my arm. I was on a girls trip with my best friend and after a few daiquiris, we inevitably came to the conclusion that we wanted matching tattoos. We looked around on Yelp and found Pirate Tattoo which was close to our drinking location and highly rated. Upon walking in, we were immediately greeted by Phil who patiently listened as we described our vague idea of a lotus flower tattoo. We went through a few iterations on the tattoo until we arrived at the perfect embodiment of the black outlined lotus we wanted. Phil was very professional throughout the entire process and made sure we were comfortable. I could see he is a very accomplished artist and I'm appreciative of the time and care he took with our small and simple tattoo. I think the kid's name was Danny he is a skinny kid at the end. That kid is a pro he covered up one of my old tattoos that I got when I was a kid and did it awesome. Everybody in the shop was professional and gave there honest opinion on any questions you have. Another great thing is that they don't rape you on the price. Went here last week Saturday May 18,2016 . I was in Miami for vacation with my sister , never got a chance to travel with her before and decided to commemorate the experience with matching tattoos. I WISH WE NEVER CHOSE THIS PLACE. First off when we got there the price quoted over the phone went up by 60$ so I was pissed about that . After that initial disappointment, PETER cleaned up , we got our tatts (didn't take to long) , and went on about our way. I have 8 other tattoo including a cover up which would have made this my 10th so I know all about after care and the healing process. Now here I am Saturday a week later exact with an fading scabby upon wound for a tattoo and my sisters is doing the exact same thing . PETER DUG TOO DEEP DURING THE TATTOO AND LEFT US WITH SCARS , OPEN TO INFECTION according to a REAL TATTOO ARTIST my sister visited. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and I'm so upset. Phil is absolutely amazing!!I have a lot of ink and I've been in a LOT of different shops. Phil is by far one of my favorite artists.The shop is clean and well stocked. The portfolios available have an ungodly amount of beautiful work. The vibe of the place is incredibly inviting and friendly, with good music playing.Phil is a phenomenal artist. He is friendly, great with time management and has an extremely steady hand. My work came out better than i ever could have hoped for. I honestly could not have had a better experience. My boyfriend and I recommend Tony Yoo. We found him in a different tattoo shop on vacation. He did a great job. And I mean he's a wonderful artist, when we went back to Florida we were looking for him again and unfortunately he had left that shop. After visiting many of the tattoo shops in the south beach area, the vibe I received walking into Pirate was the best. Carlos helped me out immediately, and I felt at ease and ready to get my first tattoo (Basquiat's crown). Even with my limited description, he adjusted the tattoo size and placement that he thought was best, and I absolutely loved it. Everything was clean and sterilized (I watched him do it), so I wasn't worried about hygiene. My tattoo was small and took close to 10 minutes - I was in and out of there in no time.
