Ettore is extremely professional and even suggested alterations which have turned a Tattoo I was happy with into one I am proud of (If he mentions shading don't disagree! - Adds a whole new dimension to the tattoo). His studio is modern, clean and a testament to his skills as an artist (just read through his books of previous Tattoo's he has drawn or view his fantastic paintings on the walls). In addition, he is extremely friendly and gives you as much time as you need to pick the perfect Tattoo, be it the Font Type / Size or the slightest details regarding a picture Tattoo (In my case both!). This is my first time coming to Miami! While on the way there, I was looking up places to get a tattoo and Ettore’s was rated the best & had the best reviews! Mind you this is my first tattoo, so I am extremely nervous & am terrified .. of the pain I might go through. To my surprise, it didn’t hurt at all! Ettore made it very comfortable and I actually almost fell asleep. He was super fast and the price was very reasonable. He’s super nice and is very considerate. He will stop at anytime, if needed, and wil constantly ask to see if you are okay. My boyfriend also got one the same day as me. We will definitely be coming back!! Ettore took my tattoo idea and enhanced it beyond what I expected it to be. He was able to blend my current tattoos with my new one to make a sick piece. I love it. Ettore is the most kind-hearted tattoo artist you will ever have the pleasure of having work done by. Someone had described him the way he tattoos like " it feels like he's painting on your skin, only with needles", and if you've ever had anyone else touch to you, they really dig into your skin and it definitely does not feel like they are painting you. But with him it does. If you make a noise from pain, he stops and asks if you are okay. He is very considerate and he understands that tattoos can hurt. I for one am a tough cookie, but I was very surprised and pleased by how kind he is about it before I knew him. Not only does he have all this that is great about him, but his work is kick-ass! What an amazing artist. He is unbelievable. His line work is awesome. Sat for almost 4 hours and I barely felt anything. He has done 3 tattoos for me and they keep getting better. Hello my wife and I flew  to Miami from New Orleans just to get tattoos from Ettore he is an awesome artist. I had my hand done its a zombie vampire hillbilly rocker. My wife had him finish off her wonderland sleeve with the Cheshire Cat and Mad Hatter. Absolutely the most professional artist we have ever worked with, exceptionally clean shop no flash on the walls all custom pieces very accommodating shop with TV's and comfortable work tables. After the first 2 days tattoos Ettore sat down and did a 10 hour marathon to finish off my wife's sleeve with the Mad Hatter towards the end my wife started to tap out and he talked her threw it gave her some time to recover. After visiting local shops like Green Machine Tattoo and Tattoos by Lou (what a joke!) and leaving disappointed, I finally took the time to research and find an artist that had the style (realism!) and portfolio I felt comfortable investing in.I am not sure how I stumbled upon Ettore Bechis during my search, but I'm glad I did!I was more than confident in Ettore's ability to create a permanent piece of art that I would feel proud to show off. I met with him in mid-February to show some reference pieces for my Medusa tattoo and I explained what details of each piece I wanted incorporated. When I was emailed the sketch about a week or so later, I was super stoked I'd be rockin' this! She was perfect! I wanted something beautiful, scary, and that made me feel powerful and he nailed it.We started the tattoo in March and finished it in late August. 5 sessions and 20 hours total, I have a kick ass piece on my thigh. Even in-between sessions, I would get approached while I was out about my tat!Ettore has a light hand and Medusa is healing smooth (no scarring) and great!His machine is very quiet and I've never been tattooed by one that made little to no noise.If you're looking for realism and a tattoo you'd be proud to show off, go see Ettore!(I will post an update on 9/18 to provide a picture of the tattoo fully healed.)
