What a wonderful experience! A friend and I walked in after impulsively deciding we wanted tattoos to commemorate our first vacation together. We did some research, the website is super easy to use and very informative (the yelp reviews really helped us make the decision). The shop was very open and nice, all the equipment was kept safely away and clean. Sean was super accommodating and welcoming the second we walked in. He helped me out with fonts and customizing it to my liking, took less than 10 minutes to get it on paper. They are cash only which is good to know in advance and the prices are more than fair for the area! Before I got in the chair sean made sure I was happy with the placement and size of the tattoo which he helped me choose with his expertise. Sean is quite outgoing and nice, super excited and friendly about the entire experience. In the chair he made sure I was comfortable and showed me the needle he would be using on me which I appreciated. The process was easy and as painless as possible, Sean has a nice light touch, also appreciated. My friend who's not as lighthearted about tattoos was super nervous. Sean again was very accommodating and nice with her, he talked her through the process. We couldn't be happier with the results of our tattoos. He took great care with the process and making sure we wouldn't leave unhappy or unsafe, he wrapped us both up and sent up on our way. We didn't receive any specific aftercare instructions, both of us are already tatted so it'll be no problem for us, but just be sure to ask questions about it if it's your first time. Went into Circus Tattoo based of my fellow Yelpers reviews and this worked out swimmingly well. I was greeted by the owner of the shop and Sean. I started discussing my idea and Sean immediately started to engage with me and thus began the process.  He drew some sketches for me as I needed a little time to decide where I wanted this placed. We eventually decided on my arm and within 2 days I was ready to go and in the chair.  The experience was the best. His equipment must be state of the art because it felt more like a massage than getting a tattoo (ok that is a little exaggerated but you get the point!). After I was done Sean gave me very specific instructions for post care and has been available when I had some questions for him. I am going to go back in 2-3 weeks for a quick follow up as suggested by Sean to see if it needs any extra love but it seems pretty damm perfect to me. Circus Tattoo is a clean, professional shop. My past two Miami trips have resulted in trips to Circus and I've had great experiences with the staff. Pedro did my first one and it turned out great. I forgot the name of the artist who did my second tatt but again great work and it took less than 30 minutes. All of my tatts have healed up nicely, no ink falling out. They do warn you up front about that (I saw them turn away a guy who wanted a tatt on his hand) so if you are from out of town I would not recommend getting tatts in areas where you may need touch ups. I just came back from a fun filled trip to miami with my girls!!! And I had to get a tattoo. So circus tattoo was one of my first choices they had great yelp reviews and alot of pictures. I had the best tattoo experience here! there friendly, clean, and respectful!. Shawn had did my tattoo. He is very nice and light handed when tattooing. Joey is really cool too nice guy!!! I wanted my daughters name on shoulder  with a butterfly and birds it cost $100 which I thought was cool bcuz it is south beach Miami! And I got another tattoo on thigh a old fashioned key with a name in it that  was $100 as well so $200 is what I spent but it's well worth it.my tattoo is healing beautifully!! I love it! Had my first tattoo here while on our vacation, Rod did my tattoo and it was beautiful and he is amazing, he took too long sterilizing the needles etc and he kept on saying almost done but on my mind i was like i don't mind waiting seeing him really sterilizing/cleaning the things he will use on my skin . We've been to Miami a few weeks ago. We were looking for a good tattoo studio for a small tattoo. It's a very difficult tattoo, because it only consists of straight lines. We visited several tattoo studios, but the guy from Circus Tattoo was the most friendly. The tattoo was made by Sean (ask for him!). WOW!!! I am down here for a little weekend getaway after seeing Paul McCartney play. I wanted to get a new Beatles tattoo to commemorate my experience. I did a search and Circus Tattoo had the highest rating in the area and the reviews sold me. Horrible, got a mini sign dollar on the inside of my wrist with my friend. He tattooed way to deep in the skin I got a big hole and the color is fading already. It looks like my tattoo was done 20 years ago. Same thing with my friend so it is not because we didnt take good care of it, im covered in tattoos and this never happened to me before.
