I have had severe Migraines since I was little....But now over 50 I went in on Sunday with a headache I had decided enough is enough so I had the daith piercing, Red's Apprentice was very accommodating got me right in. I did both sides all I can say so far no migraines for me, plus right after she did my left side we both heard a pop and drainage it was a miracle. I just want to say that when I first got my cheeks pierced at a different tattoo shop I had actually went to that shop thinking it was DaVinci tattoo because I was told Merritt Square Mall and had previously lived in Melbourne so I thought they meant the Merritt Square Mall in melbourne. When I got them done I instantly knew the guy had messed up he pierced my cheeks with way too short of bars. My friend had to take her cheek piercings out because the ball got stuck in her ch...eek during swelling. I did not have to take them out because i did notvswell but because the bar was so short it caused me to have a strange scar on both piercings that was raised up and it was not a keloid. My friend ended up getting her cheeks redone and we eventually both had to take them out because the back flat part of the jewelry completely fell off and on top of that I had the weird scarring that just was not going away unless I took it out. I got my cheeks redone by Morgan and she did a great job. Cheek piercings are known to be problematic but to my surprise not only did I not get the scars that I had last time (which almost instantly started showing up the first time) but I also didn't experience keloids that are pretty common with cheek piercings and I would get them on and off last time. I haven't leaked out any of my cheeks and in fact I healed really quick this time. I'm no longer getting crusties or anything which I thought was pretty awesome considering how long cheeks usually take to stop doing that. Had a great experience. Went in 2 weeks ahead and spoke with Marla and showed her a pic of what I kind of wanted but that I wanted her to draw something and gave her the details. We set up the time. I thought it was nice that they called me to let me know she was running late on a prior appt, and would it be ok if another artist, Andrew did my tattoo, with her drawing. I was ok with it. It turned out great and I tipped them both, since he did it with her art work. I recently had my nose pierced by Red and she did a great job! So far it's healing nicely (it's been about 2 weeks) and I haven't had any issues. The whole experience was great from the beginning to end. Red was awesome about explaining how to care for the piercing and what to look out for. When explaining my past experience with this piercing she told me how to handle it and even told me to come back in if I had a problem so that she could help. Got a conch piercing and my nose done by Red and had a great experience. Very clean and my nose healed beautifully, conch is still in the healing process but looking great!; and symmetrical to my other conch that was done else where a while ago, If you have any problems during your healing she is willing to help you out if you need jewelry changed or cleaning solution. I'm 72 and suffered so long almost 40 yrs with migraines and my granddaughter suggest i get this piercing called Daith piercing for migranes and i had one today from hell..so she took me and had the piercing done did not hurt at all took this lady named Red about 2 minutes to do it within 5 mins i felt my migrane disppear...i swear no lie. By the time i got home my headache was gone no my ear dose not hurt. But the lady told me it might be sore but only for a week or 2 may take a year to totally heal but i can deal with that... I can't believe it...i usually have 10 to 15 a month...tired the botox for 3 years 20 injrctions around my face and 5 at the base of my skull and did not feel any relief plus I was taking two different rxs..3 times a day. Worst Experience of my life. If I could give it less than a star I would. Not only am I out of $120 but have gone through the most excruciatingly painful experience in my life. I have multiple piercings including my tongue, nose, belly button, and so on. I have never been anything but excited for a new piercing and enjoy getting new things done often. I used to go to Da Vinci's for all of my piercings when this super great guy worked there, Erik, but unfortunately when they moved locations he decided to move shops. As loyal a girl as I am I decided to try the "new girl" Red. Nevertheless when I say DO NOT LET HER PIERCE YOU, I mean it. I only hope others can learn from my experience and not have to go through it too. I went in December of 2014 gifting myself the triple forward helix. I know it is a tough one to get as the spot is super tricky but this girl really ROYALLY screwed things up. She began by piercing me with the smallest cutest jewelry she could find. Of course I said okay because it was cute little studs but in your professional opinion and experience she should've known this was not the right thing to do and I probably in my piercing experience should've known as well. Nevertheless, there was a lot of tears and even blood splattering in her face and I couldn't for the life of me understand how after having several cartilage piercings this was so unbelievably painful. Yet I paid the $80 for all three piercings that were not of equal distance from each other I will add and although I wasn't happy with any of my experience that day I still tipped her $40 bc you should always tip your piercer. After three days of migraines and the most unbearable pain in the world I went back to have longer bars put in that would allow more room for the swelling. This is when she really really fucked me over and why I don't trust her judgement, opinion, or even integrity as a person. When I asked to have longer bars of the same gauge put in she took this opportunity to SHOVE A BIGGER SIZE GAUGE THROUGH MY CARTILAGE. Even worse than the actual piercing I had no idea this was happening and trusted her judgement as a licensed professional and cried and winced the entire time and of course there was A LOT more blood. I thought with time it would heal and be fine and this was all just what came with the piercing I wanted. It was a couple months later when I had another licensed piecer change my piercings with the appropriate size gauge it should've been that I found out what she had done. Although It wasn't until almost 2 years later that one fell out I found out she made more mistakes . Of course I went elsewhere to get help because there was no way I was going to back her. It was then that my piercer realized she not only pierced my cartilage but through my rook and shoved it out wherever it would come. This is not how it should be done and the rook was not something I wanted pierced. I have gone to several piercers who have told me the same thing. And in their professional opinion I should just let it heal, bc it is so wrong and it will never rest right in my ear or not be painful to change, and get it Re- pierced. So not only have I gone through a SIGNIFICANT amount of pain I am out of $120 that will only grow when I get it re-pierced for them to be of equal distance from each other for $35 a piercing plus tip and the scaring and infection that may occur once my ear does heal. So no you should not go to Da Vinci's for a piercing and you should definitely not go to Red. I hate them both. Read Less

This is the worst shop ever!!!!!! Even though they have moved it's still the worst shop I have ever visited. A simple letter on my wife's ring finger turned into a blurred mess!!!!
