Today, I got my septum pierced by Randall. It turned out wonderful, and wasn't at all painful. The part I found especially remarkable was how Randall and his wife specifically catered to my safety after getting it done. I have been thinking about getting my navel fixed for years after I stupidly did it myself at 15 - I was trying to find the right shop to do it, and I'm extremely happy I chose to trust New Addiction. I had heard about them through friends, even some family, and I'm very pleased with Mikey's attentive professionalism. Recently I had received a different piercing from another shop, and was pretty discouraged with how I was treated - basically pierced and rushed out, with minim...al info on care or what to expect next. I feel more confident in caring for my piercings after talking with Mikey, and even ended up getting my nose pierced as well as my navel fixed. I'm not the type to complain about that things but I feel that my situation was absolutely ridiculous. I got my septum pierced at New Addiction the day of my 18th birthday which was a few months ago, a girl pierced it and actually ended up piercing it extremely crooked. At first I thought it was cause my nose was swollen, but the jewelry was so tight in my nose because how crooked it was that I couldn't even move my upper lip much without discomfort. I went back to get it taken out and see what they can do, I had to come back in a month to get it repierced for free. They told me to schedule an appointment via email to get it done. I emailed them to get it done, and they never emailed me back. I finally got frustrated because I spent nearly $100 dollars on a piercing that was done horribly and I'm not even getting good customer service after something that was their fault. They tried to say they never got my email though I sent it to the correct email that was on the business card. They were honestly very disrespectful and weren't even apologetic for the inconvience they caused. Definitely would not recommend to anyone. Terrible service. Walked in and explained my sentimental tattoo that I wanted done and the kind of design I wanted, and it was smaller not too big. The guy that talked to me acted like me and my mother were the stupidest people on the planet and that this tattoo couldn't be done unless it was "big," and my sisters literally have the same tattoo that I wanted the same size as theirs. Very rude attitude and acted like he wanted nothing to do with my tattoo because it was small. So I got this tattoo done somewhere else where the people were true artists and supported and helped me with whatever I wanted. I got the same tattoo that these people here "couldn't" do for me. I got my septum done by an amazing piercer named Randall, the price was a bit more than expected, however, it was definitely worth it! After having my ears pierced previously (first and second holes) then going straight to facial piercing, I was kind of nervous as it was a step up. However, Randall was cool-headed, reassuring, and the piercing process was smooth as silk. No pain, I didn't bleed, and it was over quickly. I've never had a bad experience at New Addiction. Aaron is the best artist ( the only one I've used). He listens to what you want and has a way of blending the colors of your choice so that it looks like colors aren't separated into the design. He also shadows the colors where needed as well. I'm so glad that my daughter introduced me to him years ago with our matching tattoos. I've already got my next one picked out; now it's getting the funds together and making the appointment to get it done. I came in to get my septum jewelry changed that I'd bought from a different shop. The ring was much too small and quite painful. Unfortunately I didn't catch his name, but the gentleman who changed my piercing for me was lovely. He stayed conscious of my tender piercing and took his time while removing it to ensure I wouldn't experience any further discomfort. I was on a tight budget, and he still took his time to give me options for new jewelry that was in my price range instead of trying to push a bigger sale on me, which I very much appreciated. Took my 5yr old daughter in to get her ears pierced by a professional instead of the typical store at the mall. I would highly recommend this route instead of the 'guns' other places use to basically shoot the earing through the ear. This is way less painful and traumatic.Tirza was amazing. She told us up front what to expect and that she requires my daughter to say she wants the piercing, plus wouldn't do it if she cried. Totally understandable and great policy. Don't go here for piercing!  I had my left nipple pierced by Randall. He was very polite, friendly and nice but quality of work is more important to me, which is why I cannot recommend this to anyone!! He pierced through my areola on the left side, not just the nipple!!  I thought it was just puffy from just having had a needle shoved through it but no, it's done wrong!! Also, He put in a bar that was wayyyyyyyyy (I put so many Y's to really emphasize this!) too short for a first time nipple piercing. I just got back from going to a good piercer (and got an opinion from another shop this morning) and she was shocked. She put in a bar that is literally 2.5 times longer. My skin had grown over (yes, grown over!! I had to push the end of the bar bell out through the almost closed hole!) and could not heal properly. I waited to long to go get it looked at thinking it would go down but low and behold it was the bar that was the problem not me!! I already feel 99% better than I did this morning now that I got it redone right!! Read Less

Very professional and polite. The place is clean and organized. The jewelry selection is good, kinda pricey but well worth it. I don't want any infections because I price shopped and ended up using cheap lead laden jewelry.  Spend the money and get quality.When you're coming inyo a place to get your 1st piercing, a guy or gal with tattoos and facial piercings can look intimidating but at the same time, if I'm getting tatted or pierced, it makes sense to have someone that is pierced or tatted. Don't let the bad ass looks fool ya; these guys are all the way super cool. Check their work on FB, Intagram or Tumbler.I've had my nose pierced and have since returned for additional piercings. I received the same friendly treatment on the 2nd visit so it wasn't just a "good" day. This last visit, I was lucky enough that there were two piercers and was able to receive both  piercings at the same time. If possible,  I highly recommend this way over one at a time. They must have gone through several sets of gloves a piece; this along with knowing the chair was just cleaned made me very comfortable.  As I've gotten all that I want pierced, I probably won't be in the piercing room again but maybe I'll make it over to the tattoo side. I look and act very preppy, though, I am not, at all, by any means.This store was clean and the staff was friendly, professional, and non-discriminating. Had a piercing done there about a year and a half ago. The staff was polite and friendly the entire time, but it seems that professionalism wasn't a priority of theirs. The piercer on duty (Mikey) was not even certain about the piercing that I wanted. He had to Google it and ask me again just to be certain. He used the right equipment, however he did not sterilize the equipment and jewelry in an autoclave before piercing me. After bad-mouthing a customer who had gotten pierced before me, and even speaking ill of the body appearance of another customer who had gotten the same piercing, he finished up my procedure. It was fairly quick. Upon further inspection, I could see that my piercing was nowhere near where it should have been. I'm sorry. Very nice and friendly people, but I would want to walk away from a piercing session knowing that I got what I paid for. No thanks. If you want a serious piercing done right, go out-of-state.
