Had such a wonderful experience at Studio 54. The entire staff is so friendly, welcoming, and professional. Came in for a few piercings and worked with Riley. She is such a beautiful soul inside and out. She truly has a passion for her profession and works with each client individually to create true piercing art. She took her time, was creative, gave me several options and advice on piercing ideas, and came up with a design I absolutely love. Riley is the most professional, well versed and most educated piercer I have ever encountered. I've been getting my piercings done by her for the last 6 years and she always does a great job with piercing as well as education on how to keep it clean and stuff like that. I’ve gone to Studio 54 with my best friend a few times for miscellaneous piercings she wanted and Riley or Rich always did them and they always turned out great! They are both very knowledgeable and calming to be around. Last Saturday we went back and I finally decided I would get something pierced this time and Riley totally put my mind at ease. She was so informative about the pros and cons of everything I was interested in. Her suggestions as far as placement and healing management were very helpful when it came down to making decisions on what I actually wanted. Riley was also extremely kind, sweet, fun, and soothing. It was like hanging out with a friend. The experience was incredible and I can’t recommend her or Studio 54 enough. I’ll definitely be back for more. Wow wow WOW! Absolutely impressed. I won a giveaway on Instagram for a custom ear piece and was pierced by Riley. She was amazing!! So informative about the parts of the ear itself and creative about different ways to pierce it. She showed me multiple designs for my three piercings I was receiving, she explained what she liked about them and how they compliment my ear. She was the most honest piercer I have ever had ever!!! So sweet and great with detail. She made me feel relaxed before piercing them, it had been awhile since I have had a piercing. Got a conch piercing today by Riley! I love it! The staff at Studio 54 is so friendly and welcoming. Also, Riley is the sweetest girl ever! She did my industrial piercing, my second lobe holes, and a helix on the other ear a few years ago. My only regret is not having her do ALL my piercings!! She is the best ever! This place is terrible, unwilling to work with customers and blatantly rude. Will in particular is extremely rude and close minded. Do not go here for your tattoo unless you want someone telling you the way they want it. Maybe will is upset because his own tattoos look like my 10 year old son did them. I stopped in hoping to find an artist who was willing to touch up some badly neglected, older tattoos that I have. I was fortunate that Randy agreed. What a great experience! Randy was friendly, fun, attentive and really talented. He didn't simply give me a touch up... it looks like a brand new tattoo. He cleaned up some very sloppy lines, happily added a few new details that I requested at the last minute and completely restored a lifeless tattoo. I enjoyed the conversation and the whole experience. Everyone working there was really nice and welcoming. Husband and I are Disney fans and wanted matching Mickey and Minnie heads on our wrists. One thing i was worried abt the the shape of heads because ive seen some where it was crooked and didnt look like mickey mouse heads. I was very particular and anal about mine and they were very patient and drew it as many times as it took to get it just the way i like it. Randy was our tattoo artist and he was great. AVOID! The artists here might be good but you'll never find out unless you want to go through the owner/boss' (Will I think) degrading critique of your idea or outright refusal to work with you at all. He micro manages the artists who have absolutely no say in the tattoo THEY'RE about to do! We spent an entire hour with Zachary, who had a suggestion, drew it out on my bf's arm. We liked it and Will said no, he couldn't do it! Wait, what??? Dumbfounded, we left and went to the shop in Wiregrass. Polar opposite! Incredibly cool people! We both left with awesome tattoos! I will NEVER STEP FOOT in this place! I called on Friday of last week to find out if they carried Deeveeant Cream (a topical numbing cream) and the man who answered the phone gave me an earful. "No" they don't carry it and I "shouldn't" use it because it can cause Cellulosis and if I wanted to know what that was, then I "should look it up". At this point, even though I felt like I had received a lecture from my Dad, I thanked him for the information. But that wasn't enough for him. He then proceeded to tell me about how millions of people have been tattooed before and I shouldn't need a numbing cream to get through one and that I wasn't going to die from the pain. He then said that I needed to "man up" and deal with it if I wanted the tattoo. What this person didn't know is that 1.) I have been in the medical field and am aware of what cellulosis is and it's effects, 2.) I had 4 tattoos already and never used a topical numbing cream, 3.) the reason I was asking is because I was concerned about the changes in my skin since my chemotherapy due to cancer 4.) I had breast cancer and double mastectomies two years ago at age 34 and have "man"'d up more than he could ever hope to in his entire flippin' life and have the scars clear across my entire chest to prove it.When I mentioned those facts and suggested that he might want to know who he is talking to before he tells a woman over the phone that she needs to "man up" he wasn't apologetic instead he told me not to take it for more than it was meant, as a joke. RUDE!I would never walk in there for a service. The place that I did end up going to mentioned that this is NOT an odd occurrence and one of the artists mentioned that 25% of his clients on a weekly basis come from here. My earlobes had stretched out from years of wearing heavy earrings so I had them surgically repaired by a Plastic Surgeon.  After healing I then needed to get my earlobes re-pierced avoiding the scar.  My son who has tattoos recommended I go to a Piercing Artist instead of having them done at the mall with a piercing "gun".  I never would have thought of that on my own as I have no experience with Tattoo Parlors.  Studio 54 was recommended by a Medical Assistant (she had tattoos done there) at my doctor's office.  I looked them up on-line and went to see Rich Bonet, professional piercer, who was extremely helpful, very kind and careful.  He explained exactly what the procedure was and how to take care of the piercing once it was done.  He did a fabulous job centering the piercing hole and avoiding the tiny scar on my earlobe.  He also gave me a small bottle of antimicrobial soap to use daily.  My earlobes healed without any problems whatsoever.....they hardly swelled, no blood, no pain at all.  Every other time in the past that I had my earlobes pierced (I had 3 piercings in each lobe), I had some sort of problem with swelling, infection, soreness.  This time it was awesome!!  I highly recommend Studio 54 Tattoo Parlor and Rich Bonet for earlobe piercings.  As a matter of fact, I tell all my friends who have young daughters to take them to Rich.... I gave a $50 to Will to draw me a very specific Japanese style upper sleeve with a wolf. I liked the picture he drew. I think he is a good artist but it wasn't what I wanted for me. I asked him if we could change a few things about the tattoo and he basically told me take it or leave it. He said what I wanted wasn't what he imagined. He said he would draw me something else for $50 more, as long as it didn't have a wolf? What kind of artist won't work with you on what you want? I wasn't asking him to put the tattoo on himself. The next shop I went to listened to me, looked at the pictures I showed them and drew what I had in my mind. So, if you want what Will imagines your tattoo should be, I recommend this shop. I didn't give them 1 star because for the most part the guys seemed cool and the place is clean and maybe the rest of the crew there is cooperative. Read Less

Staff at Studio 54 are exceedingly friendly and welcoming.  Unlike many tattoo parlors, they are perfectly willing to answer questions and they have no shortage of patience when it comes to discussing a design.  The prices are quite reasonable for the area for both tattoos and piercing and the shop is about as clean and sanitary as I have seen.  Studio 54 offers a fair number of deals via Facebook, so you can save a little bit more by finding their page and becoming a fan.  I would highly recommend their work, though drop by a have a chat with the guys first to get a feel for them yourself.  You won't be disappointed.
