Just got done with my tattoo today with Travis Brown. I showed him a reference of what I thought my tattoo should look like. He made it his own and added way more of a beautiful artistic approach. It was a thousand times better than what I could have imagined! My tattoo took a couple of hours and he was so awesome to work with! My tattoo experience with Jared could not have been a better one. I came in to the shop having not known who my artist would be. The first gentleman I spoke with asked what type of tattoo I would be getting so he could set me up with the proper artist. That in itself was a good sign. Aces high would be able to accommodate me with any idea I had by setting me up with the appropriate artist. The tattoo was scheduled promptly and successfully. Down payment goes towards your tattoo which is also a plus. The day of the tattoo I was pumped and Jared was there on time waiting for me to arrive. This tattoo was a cover up and it came out perfect. Finished in about a little over 5 hours and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The tattoo has clean lines, incredible shading, and the exact realism I was looking for. Most of all, you would NEVER know there was a tattoo underneath. He truly did an incredible job. I’ve been tattooed twice at the West Palm Beach location so I was familiar with the quality of work at aces, but I went in here as a walk in yesterday and it did not disappoint. My sis’s and me went yesterday to get tattoos in remembrance of our daddy. He passed one week ago yesterday. I have never had tattoos and swore I never would but I did for dad. I started a sleeve with Travis Brown on March 31. I have a small tattoo on my back so this was by far the most serious work I've had done and I can say without a doubt that I made the best decision in Travis. I had ideas on what I wanted but gave Travis full artistic freedom and the result is stunning. We haven't started the coloring yet and I am already in love with it. Travis is friendly and incredibly talented. The entire experience has been amazing and I highly recommend Travis for any piece you want. This shop was recommended to me from a friend of mine. I struggled finding a tattoo place to get my third tattoo done by me so I drove over 2 hours to come here. Well worth the drive! Travis Brown is an artist I've been following for a couple of years and he recently tattooed myself, brother, father, and grandfather. Works extremely quick and packs in amazing color! Sarah A. is not only a beauty, she is an outrageously talented artist with the worlds most steady hand. Sarah sat patiently with me and poured over every single detail I loved about this Egon Schiele sketch. Capturing the drawing's quality of line and gestural nuances was very important to me. As a first time customer i really enjoyed my experience at Aces High tattoo. I was stuck for a few weeks on searching for a shop but i bumped into a really great location in Lake Worth. So the person who i met and worked on my tattoo was Allison. She was really patient with me and understanding on how I wanted my tattoo and she gave me her ideas on how it would and wouldnt look good. I spent about 15 hours total at this Aces High location for a half sleeve done by Pat Patterson. Not only did I get a vibrant, beautiful, expertly designed tattoo, I also had fun in the process. Pat provided exceptional customer service throughout the whole process--from the consultation to the final shading. He made sure to ask me plenty of questions before he drew up my piece to make sure we were on the same page about what the end result would look like. I appreciated how... thorough and considerate he was. There were a couple of things I asked for that didn't make sense from a technical perspective. Instead of belittle me, as other tattoo artists have done in the past, he politely explained to me why we were limited in some ways and offered other suggestions. I appreciated this a lot. After all, I'm not a tattoo artist. There are aspects of the tattooing process that I don't know or think about as a result. He also made it clear that he didn't expect tips from customers, but he was always grateful for any amount that was given to him. Something else that really stood out to me was that I felt comfortable the whole time. Pat made sure that I knew I could readjust in my chair or take a break at any point if I needed to. This really put me at ease. We shared lots of laughs too, which was cool because 15 hours with someone who has no sense of humor or who isn't personable would seem like an eternity!
