Coolest shop in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. I have sat with Takeshi who specializes in traditional Japanese work for some additions to my existing large back piece of koi and lotus blossoms. Went in to get a small tattoo done during an event they were having to benefit a friend with cancer and ended up getting an awesome piece by Taylor Roy.  This guy is an amazing American traditional artist and all around great guy.  Enjoyed my first experience so much ended up going in again a month later and getting a much larger American traditional piece by Taylor.  I honestly can't say enough good things about this guy or this shop.  Keep up the good work. I went to Kreepy Tiki's and got tattooed by Takeshi. He's an amazing artist, as you can tell by all of his art work on the walls. I asked him for mermaid scales on my thigh and he hand drew them straight on my leg. He's super easy to talk to and always makes sure you're ok during the whole tattoo process. So a friend of mine and i were in the kreepy tiki plaza and just decided to get tattoos. Taylor greeted us the second we walked in and we were helped immediately. Takeshi has the right personality and passion to be an excellent tattoo artist. He was patient with me as it was my first tattoo and took the time to draw two different styles of kanji on a stencil before I made my decision. Before I met him, I visited two other shops. The first shop the artist was very nice but the smell of the shop was unbearable and the second place was clean but the tattoo artist treated me like come back when you know what you want....So don't waste your time going around the city call Takeshi if you want a great tattoo! Listen. This shop is awesome. It's cozy and unpretentious, unlike oh so many tattoo shops in the world. I have had several amazing experiences with Takeshi. I come to him with ridiculous tattoo ideas and half-assed references, and he turns them into something I am always proud to have on my body forever. He actually works WITH me and my ideas, instead of turning them into whatever his "style" may be or what he thinks is "best" for my body (again, unlike oh so many tattooers I've experienced). My most recent experience with him the other day just proved his awesomeness on an even greater level. I came to him asking for a little... let's call it "make up" on an already existing tattoo of a stupid cat. He transformed a simple tattoo into a little friend I now have with me forever, while completely respecting the work that the previous artist had done. All the while we giggled and talked about some real human things (like how ridiculous it is that we repeatedly do this painful thing to our bodies but hey shit looks tight so let's keep being stupid!). I need to first off clarify that the staff is super friendly. They play great music and the overall atmosphere is rad. I'm giving them 1 star because they have bad wiring in the venue and I got a nice jolt of electricity through my body. Also, Monolord's singer had the same problem but stood so far away from the mic that his body went numb from lack of oxygen. There is a bad ground or lack of ground. It also fried a very expensive piece of equipment of mine. This review is mainly to the owner. You need to get this fixed before someone gets severely injured or dies. If this was Europe I could've easily died. Cause 240 volts with no ground is dangerous. If you play guitar/bass and sing at the same time be extremely cautious. But I will say once that is fixed y'all have a very rad establishment. Read Less

This is the 3rd tattoo I've had done since moving to South Florida, and Kreepy Tiki will get all my business from now on. The owner(and my artist) Jaksin is fantastic. Friendly, and a great artist. I gave him an idea of what I wanted, 3 hours later I got a hand drawing from him and he nailed it. Went in that night and he knocked it out. It healed beautifully, no scarring, minimal peeling. But 6 weeks later the colors are still bright and bold, no rework needed. He listens to his customers, and really cares about his work.
