I have been going to this shop for the past 4 to 5 years and I have had an amazing experience for every time I've come in. I have had two total sleeves done and some work on other tattoos, including cover ups from old tattoos. Joel and Andrew were both perfect professional and amazing artists. I get stopped on a daily basis asking me where I get my tattoos done. Joel by far has been my favorite artist I have even sent in family members to get work done by him. Super awesome experience! I came in with an idea in mind, told the designer, and he immediately drew up a design which was amazing and exactly what I wanted. He worked with me to choose colors and shading choices, but didn't make the experience uncomfortable. I have found my new home and my favorite artist Joel for all my future tattoos. The shop is maintained very well clean, modern, sterile. I have met Joel through a friend an decided to give it a shot. I got a simple tattoo 3-6-15 my 26th birthday with the meaning of that date starts a new journey. I had a variety of fonts to choose from and after narrowing it down with Joel's help we settled on one and don't regret it all perfect font. I'm not going to say it was totally pain free cause your getting a tattoo but this was the least painful experience out of all my tattoos. I moved here in 2013 from Hawaii. I was recommended to go to see Joel in 2014 for a tattoo that I was interested in doing by one of my friends here. I wanted to continue the Polynesian style that I had gotten on my chest but on my upper arm. He took what I suggested into his creation and I must say I truly love it and get compliments on it all of the time. I then decided to do another with Joel on my upper back and it came out just like I wanted it to be like. Now I am back and have already started my third tattoo (a dragon on my side) with Joel. I decided to stop by Ink Addiction after reading all the rave reviews from a different site. I sat with Buddha who was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. After discussing what I was looking for I felt comfortable to set an appointment. Buddha was a consummate professional. The area was meticulously cleaned and prepped prior to staring. He showed me his drawing and took the extra time to ensure all met my expectations. The location of my tattoo was the wrist which can be uncomfortable. He has an amazing technique which made the process absolutely comfortable. The tattoo came out beautiful with crisp and detailed precision. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It's been 2 weeks and he actually reached out to follow up with me further solidifying that I made the perfect choice for this very special tattoo. I've been wanting a tattoo for several years and finally got up he nerve to do it. I went to Joel who took the time to design a very personal tattoo that has a lot of meaning for me. He had a very gentle touch and after the initial discomfort, I ended up feeling very little. He was able to complete the entire tattoo in one 4 hour sitting and it looks fantastic. After searching for a month for a tattoo parlor I could trust, I came upon Ink Addition.  This was my first tattoo, and i wanted it to be a work of art.  I was searching for someone who actually took pride in their work and expressed a real interest in my desires.  I visited 10 different locations.  Every other location I visited (10 of them!) had artists that were just about cashing in on my ink.  A couple made a slight attempt, but most were indifferent.   Nina and Joel are both very professional artists.  By artist I don't mean a tattoo artist (which they both are) but also very talented free hand artists.  They both actually took the time to talk to me and my wife about the design we would like.  Rather than just pick out a design from a book.  We brought several designs to them and they were able to take out of my head what I really wanted it and put pencil to paper to make it reality.  Of course, the actual tattoo is why I did this and it came out amazing.  Great work, fine lines and attention to the details.  The shop itself is unassuming.  It isn't a fancy place like some South Beach Locations nor is there a Bar connected to it.  They do great work and keep it simple.  It is of course also very clean and well maintained. So if you are thinking of getting a tattoo, go visit Nina and Joel.  Especially if you are looking for someone to actually design your work. Read Less

I have had many hours getting my tattoo's worked on by Alex, he is simply one of the best tattoo artists I have met by far, and layed back and easy going and very very talented. I highly recommend him over the other artists. Nikki is second in my opinion only because her rates are so high. Danika is an okay artist. Really nice place. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. The store was exceptionally clean and the prices wereaffordable, not like the tourist traps by the beach. I would highly recommend this business. They were upfront and answered all my questions honestly. The artist took the time to design a tattoo just for me, and it turned out beautiful.
