For the past few years, I've always heard, "Never get a tattoo at a beach shop" because they tend to be tourist traps. That is NOT the case at HCFL. This is a cool, clean shop with a professional staf...
For the past few years, I've always heard, "Never get a tattoo at a beach shop" because they tend to be tourist traps. That is NOT the case at HCFL. This is a cool, clean shop with a professional staff and amazing artists. They're honest and up-front about their pricing and are worth every penny. Twig Sparks just finished a large piece under my arm that completes a half-sleeve. It's friggin' awesome. It didn't hurt as bad as I expected and it was genuinely fun. I highly recommend this shop!

Handcrafted Tattoo in Ft Lauderdale is the place To go for quality tattoos. Located right off of A1A on the Ft Lauderdale Strip, the shop's atmosphere is awesome. I sat for a new tattoo last week with Twignasio Sparks. He is a true artist and it shows. He is focused on his work and seems to truly care about putting out quality work. He is also a consummate professional and takes his job seriously. The night before he called me to discuss my design and while I was being tattooed he was truly concerned with my well being and consistently checked in with me to see how I was doing. I found the entire process enjoyable. There was another artist in the shop named Michael who was working on a badass bat drawing. Even when he was just doodling on the sandwich board that they put out front, he was drawing up some cool designs. It is apparent that these guys are talented and there is no way you're going to walk out of here with a bad tattoo. I'm already planning my next tat for next year when I turn 50.
