I got this done less than a week ago and the color is horrible, the 4 dots are missing & i have a FUCKING CRATER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING TATTOO. I went to Double Cross with a friend and I loved it so much that I went back a month later for my own tattoo. Van did both of our tattoos and he's amazing; nice guy, really chill and he put Netflix on for us both times to watch while getting our tattoos done. I'm visiting from out of town and came Sunday afternoon to ask about getting a pretty big side piece redone after a few laser tattoo removal sessions. I talked to Neill who was professional, friendly, and entirely open to starting work that afternoon. We spent the 10+ hours over next three days relining two side pieces and coloring one of them in. I am incredibly happy with the work he did on me. Even the relining made a dramatic difference. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and made the entire process as simple and easy. Got my nose pierced here today, amazing very professional told me exactly what to do for after care having multiple piercings I know the aftercare but it's still refreshing to have them remind you. The piercer was amazing he joked around with me to get me through the pain only reason i didn't rate it five stars was because I waited for about 10 minutes when there was no one else in the store....I don't really know why but still a great experience. Pablo is amazing. He accidentally overbooked, but when we came back he took his time working with my daughter on her first tattoo so it would be perfect and everything she wanted. He ended up staying with us until well passed the closing time working on making our tattoos perfect. When I almost passed out Pablo and his team had me laying drowning with ice, alcohol whipped my face, I was extreme well taken care of. Three small tattoos, for three girls.  We had scoured the internet, visited multiple shops and reviewed artist portfolios for 3 ridiculously small tattoos that had significance to us.  We chose Esteban Mayor @mayortattoos and we are so glad we did! He treated us with great attention and care despite the size of the job.  It was the very first tattoo for two of us.  Cost was fair and reasonable. Shop was clean (gloves, single use kits, etc.).  He gave us such a great experience that one of us will be coming back to get a bigger art piece completed.Another artist was so honest and gave helpful advice.  Two of us came in with very specific criteria on the tattoo design and size and he was brutally honest and gave us alternative options to improve the look of the tattoo.  This is a great team with a great vibe.Their customer base is diverse from what we saw the two times we went to visit, and the team has a blend of talents that compliment each other.  I highly recommend checking their artists out if you are in the market for a tattoo. I came here to get my first tattoo I wanted a very small crescent moon on my wrist ended up having a crooked banana shaped thing I complaint to the manager and he assigned me to another artist to get it fixed but it still looked terrible ! Stay Away from this place especially with PIERCING!!! I went in to get an Industrial piercing thinking its performed by license professionals. The piercer who pierced me was a' 'Bald head guy with glasses''. He pierced the first hole that went in fine and then the second I noticed he was having trouble but forced the hole in anyway. They don't sell any H20 sterilizing spray Btw I was told to get it from Walgreens lol. About 2 weeks later I started to notice an infection in my ear the earring was rubbing on my skin making it chafed and raw. Very uncomfortable I went to the shop to show my ear and asked if someone could remove it for me. I was told the guy who pierced me wasn't the main piercer and found out it was the owner who obviously had no idea what he was doing and only did it to get my money. The owner was contacted and I was told as a courtesy I can come back to get a new piercing free of charge once my ear healed. Sounded fair so I didnt complain. bout 2 months later I called twice to set up an appointment but  was told No I couldn't get the piercing that was offered to me because I'm not paying. WTF??? this was to accommodate me for the mistake the owner made. I HATE LIERS and This place is FULL of SHIT. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Keeping loyal customers and good business is not on there list. I wanted to share this experience so others would have the heads up. Go Elsewhere.... Read Less

I messaged Double Cross Tattoo on Facebook the day before I headed down to Ft. Lauderdale (I'm from Boston) to see if I could get work done. They messaged me back immediately and told me to contact their traditional artist Danny since I wanted a death's head hawk moth in a neo traditional style. We spoke on the phone, made a plan, and he drew the tattoo up for me a couple hours later and texted it to me.When I got in, everyone at the shop was extremely accommodating and friendly to me and my friend who was traveling with me. Danny got started right away. He made the process as painless as it could be. He was good company and knocked out an amazing piece for me. My only regret is that I will have to come back down here to get more work done by him. The shop is immaculate and easy to find with parking readily available. I have never experienced customer service like this inside a tattoo shop. I was greeted automatically & all my questions were answered. I can't lie and say I wasn't a pain in the ass when it came time to do my piercing but Pablo took great care of me & made sure I was okay and comfortable with everything. He was freaking awesome. Anyone knows customer service will get you far. Josh is an absolute jerk. They have conversations about females that can make you uncomfortable. They talk about black customers in specific when they come in to buy tattoo supplies but my whole thing is if you are gonna be a jerk about it why are you taking their money . The guys in the shop are unneeded with their sarcasm.To keep a client who pays well, your personal views definitely do not matter. If you choose to discuss customers do so on your own time not when someone is in a chair. I've seen people walk into the store and not even greeted . If you want a tattoo shop that you can create a home with ,or a shop you can keep going back to-this is not your shop!!!!!! Read Less
