Very clean, they must be doing something right they've been there for over 20 years. I came in off the street and the tattoo artist spent lots of time with me and did a great job. I went here to get my nose pierced. I’m a huge baby about any needles or anything so I’d done my research about it. I got right in and the man who did my piercing was EXTREMELY patient with me being scared. They only do the twisted backs of the nose studs and they didn’t give me a choice with which stud i wanted just gave me a small silver ball. Very good experience overall. Read Less

Been looking for a while for a tattoo artist that does amazing work, and i found it, i had a drawing from my son that i wanted as my tat, Damien drew it keeping it mostly the same , just adding some touches, pulling it together, so i consider it a collaboration of my sons work and his, it is absolutely beautiful!! I chose this shop because they are a long standing, good rated company that seemed like the best. My brothers, father, and a friend all got many of their tattoos done there and they turned out wonderful. I had been planning my tattoo idea for 2 years and I wanted to make sure everything would happen just right. I traveled 9 hours just to go to the Bruce Bart Shop because I felt like with the amazing work they had done for people I knew, I could really trust them to do a great... job on my first tattoo. Unfortunately, it did not turn out the way it should have. Last week, my brother and I got the exact same tattoo, except his looks phenomenal and something is extremely wrong with mine. The artist that did Michaels was very friendly and creative with how he did the design and it looks wonderful. Mine on the other hand, done by John, looks extremely horrible. I am not necessarily writing this post towards Bruce Bart Tattoo shop, but rather the artist who did my tattoo. Throughout the process, he wasn't friendly and not the person you would ever want to do your tattoo. He did what he wanted with it and not what I asked for. I tried to let it go but after leaving and realizing its not healing correctly, I want people to understand that you should not choose him to do your tattoo. For the past 4 days, I've been in excruciating pain and I believe he did something wrong. After researching and talking to other local tattoo artists, I've been told that he did not do it correctly and that he tattooed to much in the same area and too deep. My brothers is already healed for the most part and looks wonderful. Mine looks like it's infected (even though the area hasn't been exposed to anything except the stuff they told me to use on it). 2014-2015 I got some tattoos. Joshua did my tats. He's a cool dude. He touched up my old superman tattoo for free, but my recent tattoos, I got on my forearms was pretty bad. My right arm isn't as bad as my left arm though. Not all my tats on both arms are bad just a few. I guess he clearly didn't understand what I wanted, so I have to walk around with this mess on my arms the rest of my life. I don't know why it tooked me so long to write a review. Read Less

Unfortunatly I get this place negative number. I am from Mass and my friend and We wanted a small tattoo. Went i to this shop on Sunday night and made a appt.. for Monday at noon. WE GAVE HIM A 20 deposit. They said they were open at 11am. We got there at 11:30, no-one was there (locked doors). Met up with Tattoo artist at 12 and he said he couldn't get into the shop till 2 when the owner arrives. WHAT???We have a flight at 5. UGH!Couldn't wait.... Lost our deposit. UNRELIABLE! Read Less

I was reluctant to come to a shop in Ft. Lauderdale as 94% of people in this city have or have had major drug usage problems( that was a made up statistic). Turns out, this is actually the nicest shop aesthetically that I've been to. Very clean. I had a piercing done by John White and he was so gentle. Luckily he was not coked out on special K, meth, or any other fun recreational substances.I highly recommend this shop for piercing; I'm not sure how the artists work. Read Less
