I went to the shop and met Amaury who was the kindest most understanding person.  I came to him after the death of my beloved dog who was my life.  He was very compassionate and said although he is very booked please come back in a few days and he would do his best to fit me in.  I came in on Tuesday he kept his word and squeezed me in. He created the most beautiful tattoo to memorialize my max which I will cherish for life.  The shop is very clean and the staff is very professional and so very kind.  I could not have trusted anyone else to do this precious tattoo. I am so incredibly happy to have come to Bad Habits for my tattoo.  From start to finish the whole experience was easy and painless. I came to Antz with my budget and idea and he created a design that really surpassed my expectations. When I got to the shop I was really impressed by how clean and well kept it was and everyone seemed genuine and happy to be there. I got to see the design and was floored by how gorgeous it turned out.  Antz is incredibly talented and walks you through the process step by step which is still helpful to a tattoo novice like me. When he tattoos he isn't heavy handed and moves at a great pace - honestly I found myself dozing off during the tattoo because of how painless it was. Called one random day with a friend just to swing by and get a quote.. and the OWNER answered,.. and when I arrived, the Owner Amaury was the one that greeted us too. He's BILINGUAL (+ in my book!) and not only that, but he is a very personable, and professional artist who cares about what his clients are getting and making sure they're satisfied. I did speak with him to go get tatt'd myself.. and will not hesitate to trust him with my skin. Where do I start? ($100 deposit but they subtract it from the total price of your tattoo). I saw a guy with a huge Polynesian tattoo and he gave me bad habit's card. I followed the shop's page, and the tattoo artist Juliano on Instagram. So we finally went in. The front desk lady Ana is suuuuper cool. Juliano is so nice and friendly. He's like a celebrity to me so I was geeking out. He was so sweet. The lettering he did on my arm was perfection. He talked to us, laughed with us, told us stories and was just cool. He made little suggestions to us about our tattoos and we really liked that. The pricing is extremely reasonable. I will never let another person tattoo me. Except maybe the other  artist that was there, Amaury. I love that Juliano put my stencil on, looked at it for about 5 minutes, didn't like the way it was positioned, took it off and re-did it. I'm going back to him for an elephant and I'm going to let him freestyle the inside of it since he's known for such intricate details. TRUST ME. don't go anywhere else. The shop is clean. We were here on vacation and decided we wanted some ink, so we did our research and found this awesome gem!! This tattoo shop is the cleanest most friendly one I have ever been to, and between myself and my two daughters we have 17 tattoos and one of my girls has a full sleeve! Being this was my first tattoo and granted I was a little nervous Tony and Emily made the experience unbelievable. I am definitely hooked and not because of the old taboo that once you get one your addicted but because Emily with her light hands and talent made it wonderful! Awesome place, awesome staff, clean, well lit, even clean and nicely scented lobby and bathroom! Decor is brightly colored which to me is a very nice contrast to the dark and gothic like shops that are typical (after all not everyone that gets tatted is a metal head who wants a large skull tat lol)From the moment I called, Tony was very courteous over the phone and tried to work with me for a same day tattoo. They were able to accommodate and take me same day and I got my tat with Juliano. I initially wanted a female because my female experience has been way better than with male but..Juliano changed all of those notions for me. I described him as a gentle giant bc he was soo caring and took his time with the consultation  and I never felt rushed or unsure. He is very professional and knows his stuff, has been in industry for 13 years and it shows. Everyone in the shop was friendly and had a GREAT attitude.  Amaury the owner was awesome too and shared that he believes his customers should be treated the way he would like to be treated. A tattoo place with customer  service in 2016?! A+! So if you like to be treated well and want to get a great experience with your tattoo whether it's the first, or one of many, this is the place to be. I called on Thursday to see if they would be open, I can't remember who I talked too but he said since it was mothers day schedule an early appt at 12. I walked 2 miles to get this tattoo and they we're closed, but he scheduled an appointment...and I'm from out of town! Firsts of all, there are dozens of tattoo shops in Ft Lauderdale so I knew it would be a challenge to find the right place to have some work done.To me having great artist on staff is only half of the equation, I want to go into a place and feel comfortable without the macho BS found in a lot of shops.Bad Habits Tattoo fit the bill, I walked in and was greeted warmly by Tatiana. I will admit I went there specifically to have Amaury do my work but I was impressed with Tatiana's knowledge, passion and willingness to listen to my ideas. She spent a good half hour with me fleshing out my ideas with her artistic vision. I then left her to sketch it up.I came back the next day for my appointment and she had the drawing finished, we spent a few minutes making some minor adjustments I suggested. While she finished up I spent more time observing the shop, noticing the cleanliness, the minimalist decorating (there are no walls filled with cheesy flash) and the inviting atmosphere. Once it was time to get to work it was apparent I was the only thing that mattered in Tatiana's world, no phone calls, no pointless blather with the other artists...About an hour into my session the owner came into the shop and made sure it was known that my patronage was appreciated. He introduced himself, checked the work being done and made sure everything was going well for me.After 2.5 hours on the table I was done and the piece of art on my leg was everything I envisioned and more.
