I had multiple tattoos completed in a day and a half, 10 hours worth, by Donnie. He was amazing and created a real art piece on my arms. He was respectful and creative in his work. Hammer (owner) is AMAZING!! I just spent 2.5 hours in his chair, and only about 20 minutes of it was painful. Y'all, this man has some magic elixir that numbs the whole area (after line work is complete) and I swear I nodded off while he was tattooing me! That piece aside, he does amazing work. He redid some hummingbirds for me that I'd wanted in more realism style, less traditional, and I couldn't be more thrilled. On top of that, Hammer and his wife are really good people, serving the community in profound and critical ways. Terrible service. Went in for a piercing and piercer didn’t even introduce himself. When he finally did, he was super sarcastic and passive aggressive. Didn’t even look at me once and kept mumbling under his breath any time I tried asking a question. It was obvious I came at an inconvenient time for him. I wanted some very simple script for my newly born daughter and Don Bramer knocked it out of the park!! The tattoo only took 20 minutes and it looks BETTER than the picture I showed him!! Some of the work I've seen is fabulous. Nic seems to do a really great job, and I wish I would have gotten to talk to him, but Don (I think was his name, an older guy who my friend and I couldn't find on Facebook Instagram) was the only one in the shop. I explained and showed a photo of what I wanted but clearly said many times NOT THIS EXACT TATTOO.. it was the Simba like on the tree from the lion king with Aztec/native print in it on my thigh the size of my hand. I was trying to tell him that I just wanted a print like it but not nearly as detailed or complicated, just something Aztec like in the simba, giving him the ability to do his own print with as much detail as he thought would work with the space given. This man was just extremely rude, very short with us, and wouldn't even begin to work with my friend and I, who both wanted tattoos although very different kinds. He just kept saying no, not possible, can't do anything like that.. then told my friend he wasn't comfortable tattooing a wrist.. really? I'm not sure how this guy ever gets new clients because he treated us like crap. Read Less

Older man talks out of his ass - was uncomfortable doing a wrist tattoo? Are you a real tattoo artist? Really. Seemed strange to me. Never met a tattoo artist concerned about doing a tattoo on the side of someone's wrist. Claimed a young female may not be able to get jobs etc - that was his excuse. What??? Have heard good things about a younger male who has tattooed a few people I know. Not sure of names. But that wasn't my experience. The younger male I heard good things about wasn't in. My mom recently moved to the area from up north where I still live, I am visiting. We are not shy of tattoos. Will not be going here for future ink. Read Less

I called to see if they had time for me, they said to be there in an hour. I walked in and the atmosphere was great, everyone was polite. I went here a while back to get a very simple tattoo to basically test out an artist. I moved here from Orlando and i was looking to build a relationship with an artist that I trusted. When I walked in, I was basically ignored. The receptionist kind of stared at me and it was the most uncomfortable experience. Although all of the artists continued to play on their phones, I stayed positive and approached one, told him my idea and had him tattoo me. The guy was polite enough and the price was reasonable but I wasn't made to feel welcome. Too bad, one of these artists were going to have a steady client in me. Overall: the price is okay, the atmosphere sucks and most of the artists are douchebags.Its a good place if you pick out your art on a wall. Not if you want to find an actual artist who cares about what they put on your body. Tattoos are forever. Make it a good experience for your guest. Read Less

As a tattooed person tattoed at in 1959 at age 16 when I was an underage soldier, knew some of the best artists in the business and can say this shop was impressive, the workmanship was excellent and had I to do it over again, I'd get all of my work done here, no question about it, folks! I heard about this shop through some people I met during bike week and like anything else I was skeptical. I am not a beginner when it comes to ink,but these guys know their business. I ended up getting about 3 1/2 hours of primo work on my left arm and I couldn't be happier with the tattoo. It didn't bleed at all! I went into this place in hopes of getting a tattoo of a Lilly with my daughters names around it, something i have wanted for awhile and was excited to finally get done!! Instead what I got was jerked around, and ripped off. I paid an artist there $20.00 for a sketch, which I finally got to see after 2 weeks, and it was nothing like what I asked for, and it wasn't even completed!! I expressed the fact that I knew i was being ripped off, and I basically got accused of it being my fault. It seemed clear that he just didn't want or need to be bothered with me and wasn't interested in doing this tat from the beginning.
