If I could give this place a 0 star I would. They are lucky yelp gives 1 star at all. Me and my wife came here to have our daughter's foot print tattoo on top of my wife's foot. Damien has no artistic talent and gave my wife a tattoo that looked like our 7 year old had a marker and crayola. We got lucky that TJ over at TJ Tattoo took care of it and corrected it with the expense of excruciating pain for my wife. If anyone gets the chance to go to this shop ask for Dime Bag Derrick. His work is phenomenal and his personality is the shit lol. What I liked the most was how he was willing to work with me on my time and not his. He was so smooth with the gun I damn near fell asleep lol. So my husband got 2 cover ups by Jersey, they turned out fantastic! I went and had a beautiful butterfly put on my low back, not only did Jersey do awesome work but he was great about helping me to adjust the size to make sure it was perfect! Got an excellent tattoo. Exactly what I wanted. I wasn't pressured into anything and Jersey gave his opinions as well as respected what I wanted. My husband got a cover up done that is extremely detailed but will need to be touched up. The shop is extremely clean and laid back. Next tattoos will definitely come from Beyond Taboo Tattoo. This place is completely terrible. Just look at their work on Facebook. Anyone who goes is insane, everything done looks like it has been tattooed by a child. Beware this place! Wife and I were vacationing in Fernadina Beach to visit my grandmother. We wanted to get tattoos before returning home to Iowa. We went to Beyond Taboo Tattoo as they were recommended by the locals. After reviewing their website and artwork we decided to go. I ended up getting a Ninja Turtle and my wife ended up getting a few sysmbols. We asked for a quote and was given great pricing compared to what we would pay in Iowa. Needless to say Iowa is more expensive because they do not do CRAPPY tattoos. Not only are my lines not even, but some are WAY bolder then others, not to mention the fact that he missed SEVERAL areas during the coloring process. Plus in general both just do NOT look like the stencil that he applied. We will NEVER go back and since I'm a IT guy I will make it my goal to ensure everyone knows about the horrible work.
