First of all, the shop is classy and immaculate. The entire staff was friendly and all seem to be very passionate about their work. I had a cover piece done by Frank, he was very responsive to all my inquiries leading up to my appointment, and was very patient during the drawing and design process, as I was insecure about how to fix what I'd had. I was planning on getting my sleeve finished here since I just moved from Los Angeles. When I asked my artist, Richie, for a simple follow up appointment; he accused me of being high and leaving drugs in the bathroom. Obviously he was influenced by the older guys in the shop to speak up and say this, but just assuming and having the nerve to say to a customer that they left drugs in the bathroom and were incoherent because of some moron in the shops opinions is unprofessional. Richie's lines are shaky anyway. Go somewhere else. This place thinks they're "the shop" but really they're just straight trash. Love my new Tat! I came in and was greeted with friendly faces and they made room for me and my friend the same day. I had a picture that should have been a back piece because of the detail but they helped me simplify it and shrink but still keeping the same look. Richard was great and I love the final result. Delray Beach is blessed to have his artistic talent and the talent of his workers in their community. This man has a great eye for spotting great tattoo artist and this is the type of artistic people he employs. Jeff can turn a old unhappy tattoo into magic. This man has never made me feel uncomfortable when I came in to see him for a consultation he listens, this is a man who understands business and art and applies it to one customer at a time that's why he is a successful multi talented artist. This shop is fantastic. The second I walked in Ben made me feel super welcome, showed me his previous work, asked what I was looking for, and set up an appointment for that week. Ben's work is one of the best, I'm so pleased with the outcome. He researched what I wanted exactly and incorporated some ideas I was thinking of. But he also used his artistic ability to create an image that he knew would be most appealing. What I love the most about Vatican is the how comfortable they make you feel. EVERYONE is super cool and helpful. They take there time in insuring that the tattoo you are getting is exactly what you want. The staff is super friendly.
