Zak did an amazing job on my new tattoo. From start to finish I told Zak what I wanted and he created such a beautiful design for me. He has a very light hand and does such amazing quality work and is worth every penny. He’s definitely bringing quality hyper realism to Lake Worth which has been such a hard thing to find. Used to have nice artists, great talent, and awesome hours. Got a couple of tats here. Now they are slow to respond, lost a lot of talent, and cater to an unsavory crowd. There are better Tattoo Parlors out there; it's clear the new owner is stretching himself thin. I miss Bruce :( Read Less

Management has changed. New owner has been there a while, but does not run things as smooth as the old owner. Got some good tattoos by Bruce here. The new owner never sent me the pics I asked him to draw, despite putting down $50 deposit. Then when queried about the sample pics (of the tattoo) he still never did them. Bruce has been tattooing for 35 years. He has a level of experience and customer care that the other employees in the shop do not share. My advice would be, if you come to solid image, make sure to ask for Bruce if you want the best-looking, well cared for tattoo or piercing the industry can provide. i would never get a piercing here again. the old guy completely did my piercing wrong. I got snake eyes last Sunday and as soon as he did it I told him that it was crooked but he said it was because of the swelling he also put the wrong bar in and when I called he lied and said that he put a curved one when he really put a straight one in. I had to change it because the bar is too short and causing so much swelling and pain. I called multiple times and he just brush it off and told me to take Ibuprofen and everything will be fine. it's so crooked I probably have to take it out. Waste of my money. Read Less

Stewart was an absolute asshole!!!!!!! We had a party of 6 paying customers and all 3 women were belittled. He is obviously sexist and rude. Thankful mine turned out decent from john but wish I would have gone to Black Pelican instead where two of the girls went. Do not waste your time going here. The atmosphere is really weird and unpleasant. The second after my friend got his septum pierced a very loud, unsettling, curdling scream of a woman and baby erupted from the front desk. The girl there was watching netflix. What if that went off when the needle was going through his nose? He passes out at the sight of blood. That would be a disaster. But it also was really  unprofessional. He started to feel more anxious and nervous than he already was.Also, the piercer is a huge jerk. They had a sign up that said $5 ALL acrylic ear plugs and he was trying to charge me double. I asked why the sign would lie, and he was very snappy. "I don't know what to tell you. Do you want it or not?" I was honestly taken aback by how rude that was. I was silent for a few seconds. Got my first tattoo done here, and could not be happier. The shop is clean and the artist doing my work was super friendly and professional. He even gave me a really good discount since the time spent went over my budget, he finished the work well, not rushing me out because I went over the time. John gave me a wonderful nose piercing. Everything else sucked. I was not happy wi th my daith piercing. They very clearly gave me a helix piercing. I went back and complained a couple times to John. He was very nice and asked me to give it a couple more days to see if I got used to the piercing in my ear. I met bruce for the first time today. He seemed like all he likes to do is talk about how piercings don't make him money. He buys all his piercing products from Chi...na. He said that my piercing clearly was a helix piercing and not a daith. He said he didnt do the piercing so i had to come back after 4 when john was there. The day that I got pierced, Ishowed a picture of where I wanted my piercing. I did agree that the dot looked right where it marked my piercing to be. However it's on the side of my head and I guess I misjudged it. Overall my nose piercing has had no pain and my ear has been killing me. I have several other piercing so I knew this wasn't the piercing for me. Bruce somehow thought I was blaming him and his company for where I approved my piercing. I didn't want anything. I just wanted the earring taken out. Bruce was more concerned with arguing with me. Went in for a piercing, my upper cartilage in my left ear, and my fiancé wanted to get a new hoop for her old nose piercing. I'm assuming I met with the owner when we walked in. He was very nice and informative right off the bat. He pierced my ear and put a new hoop in my fiancés nose. The whole processed was very sterile and laid back. When my Fiancé and I left and got back into the car she noticed the ring was bigger than she wanted. We went back in with intention of paying for a new piece of jewelry, but the owner removed the piece he just put in, gave it to us and put a new piece in and told us not to worry about it. I called & easily scheduled a next-day appointment at Solid Image. The staff were all very accommodating to me as an out-of-towner, & they understood we were on a quick time crunch.I took the fella here to get matching teeny tiny anchor tattoos, & they both turned out perfect. I called to let them know we were running behind, & they couldn't have been nicer or more understanding. Both artists did our tiny tattoos at the same time, so we were in & out in no time flat. I was so happy with my choice to go to Solid Image - it was recommended to me by a guy who served me a plate of oysters up on Atlantic Ave in Delray. Perfect choice!
