This place is amazing as I’m extremely happy with every tattoo I have received from Rob. So I’ve been getting tattooed by Rob for many years. There is no one else that I trust more to apply a tattoo than Rob. In my opinion his lines are some of the best in the industry. Also Rob is much more than an artist, he is veteran tattoo shop owner and mentor to many artists. Expect a great tattoo in a clean and professional setting. As a customer for more than 15 years, I’ve never once had a problem with Rob or his work. South Seas is a great place with a great atmosphere! They are always very welcoming and friendly right when you though the door ready to start your session. The shop is very clean and sterile so it’s an ideal place to get a tattoo. My sister and I were at the end of a vacation.  We had decided that we wanted to get a "Sister" tattoo that memorialized our sister Michele who died 3 years ago.  I had come up with a simple (read badly drawn) design idea.  We did not have an appointment.  We went into the shop, it may not have even been open yet, Rob was just getting back from a convention.  We discussed what we were considering having done and showed Rob the drawing I had come up with.  I think it was just dumb luck, that Rob happened to have some time open.  I have the feeling the guy is normally booked up.  He asked us to come back a little later.  He took some time and made an amazing tattoo out of my doodle.  My sister and I are so pleased with the results. Rob has been doing tattoos for my family for as long as I can remember. He did my first tattoo on my 18th birthday and he'll do my last tatto when I have no more skin for him to work on. About a year ago I decided it was time for a new tattoo.... after doing my research and seeing my friend Megan's tattoos that she got from Rob, I went ahead and chose South Seas.    Rob wasn't available, but Sam was.  I checked out his work and decided that his color skills were exactly what I was looking for. Walk-ins are welcome, but these guys are usually pretty busy and you'll end up making an appt to come back.   I had a great experience and Sam made me feel very comfortable, and dealt with my occassional cries of pain lol (I'm a baby). They do charge by the hour here, and I think I spent more than I would at another store, but it was definitely worth every penny.   When I get around to my 6th tattoo... and 7th and 8th ;) I'll definitely be back at South Seas.
