I had such an amazing experience here! Carolyn is patient, kind, talented, and such a truly gifted artist. She just completed a lightning bug tattoo for me and her high quality realism really brought this unique insect to life. The background that she added also complimented the lightning bug and really made it stand out and POP! Carolyn seems to be light-handed too because my tattoo was not painful at all, even though it was on a sensitive part of the body. The tattoo shop is clean, fun, and I really love the way it is decorated. They have lots of neat taxidermy, art, and antiques. The staff at America's Best tattoos are very friendly and helpful also. I have been seaching for a artist for over 2 years. In the last month or so my wife came across some art work done Carolyn. Every artistic qualities that I was looking for she had it. My wife surprised me with a gift card(that’s how much confidence my wife had). I went in yesterday for a half sleeve, the shop is very clean, artists are beyond knowledgeable and helpful (in my case patient) they even play a great mix of music while they work. I vaguely explained what I wanted and Shane freehanded the entire piece like a fucking Rembrandt. They appreciate Veterans, first responders and their atmosphere reflects it. Went in today to have Carolyn cover a tattoo that had been bothering me for 20some years. She did an amazing realism rose piece w/ the logo from my favorite band. Blew my mind ! The colors are so saturated and she designed it perfectly so it can have Slash's guitar added eventually. A true artist through and through...not only did she have a light hand but did some outstanding work around the existing tattoo, blending it in seamlessly.
