I love this place! I got a beautiful tattoo during their promotion for suicide awareness, in honor of a friend of mine who passed away. Byron&Karissa did a beautiful job, on not only me but the  four other people I brought in with me that afternoon! They do amazing work and often do promotions to support different charities, for December they are donating to Toys for Tots! As I'm sure they donate for lots of other causes! I have not gotten my hair done there before but they have a few chairs and I've seen the work of their hair artists and they also do an amazing job! 5/5 stars! Would recommend to everyone I know! Went there for about 18 months and had great haircuts. Then I scheduled more appointments and got stood up twice by the same stylist. They HAD a awesome tattoo artist Jamie Wong who is very professional and has done a lot of work on me. You can find him on Facebook with new location. He left so I won't go back in there again! The Big Bang studio is so amazing. Dia did a wonder job on my hair cutt. She also gave me a lot of tips what to do to take care of my hair and how to get it to grow faster. This is my worst first experience tattoo!!! Jamie is the worst tattoo artist I've ever seen he tattooed my girlfriends back and looks like a five-year-old child did it. He gave her a piece of saran wrap to cover the tattoo ,way to go !!! My girlfriend gave him a specific design and all he did was complain about the artists work saying he could do much better well that was a joke since then I've taking her for a cover-up that looks amazing from tattoos by Lou in South Miami by a tattoo artist whose name is Kiki.Well at least I had a terrific and to this disaster. This place is closing down, the phone doesn't work and no activity on their website or Facebook page for a couple months. I stopped in but the vibe was totally not my jam. So sorry to give this a 1 star because it's in my neighborhood but Misti not-a-clue was so rude. And she expects to be paid for that attitude?  Fortunately I booked nothing with her, especially after seeing the photos of the blonde beauty on here who's hair was turned yellow!  Can you say leave the color on longer???  They were probably trying to rush her out the door--I would NOT have paid for what they did to you. I must say that during my pop in the tension in there was so thick,Not just between avatar and me, I mean other workers. After Misti literally snub-faced me I was ready to walk out but another young lady started chatting about what I wanted to do with my hair, she was clearly embarrassed over not-a-clue's unstable behavior and tried her best but it was very uncomfortable at that point and I let her off the hook by saying I had to go. Decide for yourself but I don't pay for services where an employee snub faces potential customers. I just bought a condo up the street and will make sure the "Village Regulars" hear all about this incident. Read Less

Misti is such a great stylist, she's in high demand, as are the other Big Bang Studio stylists. I definitely can't imagine walk-ins because of this. However, calling ahead, there were scheduling options that suited my schedule, and I could not have been more pleased with my new hair cut and style. I got so many compliments, I want to go back and get the same style again (edgy Ruby Rose inspired). Another time we returned to the Big Bang Studio for my son's first haircut by anyone other than his Grammy. He is autistic and is usually very upset by the process no matter how gentle and reassuring. Misti was absolutely amazing with my son, and he walked out feeling so proud of himself and so cool. (His new haircut could break hearts on its own). I literally had happy joyful tears. Thank you, Misti, for your TLC and stellar skills. I recommend the Big Bang Studio to everyone! Read Less

I relocated to Brevard County from Tampa, & after 2 years decided to try a local salon, rather than continue making a 4 hour round trip commute to Tampa for hair appointments. I scheduled a consultation with Theresa, & brought photos of the cut & color I was looking for. I was apprehensive to make the change, as the same 2 salons in Tampa had been coloring & cutting my hair for the last 8 years. At the consultation, Theresa assured me that she could achieve both looks I presented to her. On the day of my appointment, once she turned me around to face the mirror, I was horrified. She asked me what I didn't like, & when I tried to explain it to her she basically started to give me a list of excuses as to why she could not achieve the look I wanted. The entire time I was thinking, why then, didn't you tell me this during the consultation? Knowing how displeased I was, she still charged me the full amount. Needless to say, I had to travel all the way back to Tampa for my old stylist's to make the corrections. My cut took over TWO hours to correct, the color is a work in progress. I have spent over $200 in corrective measures, & we are still not there yet. Attached are photos of what I wanted, what I had, & what I got. I was told she had to have known she messed my hair up, or she never would have dunked my entire head in toner, which gave it an overall dull, muddy color. Regarding the cut, I was advised that she basically cut a giant hole in my hair. I would highly discourage going to this salon, especially if you are blonde. I think the Big Bang Studio needs to stick to tattoos only. Thank GOD for CR la Mansion & Mikel's the Paul Mitchell Experience, both located in Tampa. I will gladly continue to make the long commute.
