I got my first piercing ever here(besides the common earrings) and the piercer did amazing. I'm pretty bad with needles but he made the whole process quick and painless. Went on a whim to get a basic, and of course, stereotypical tattoo of an infinity symbol. Upon arrival I was greeted by a very honest, very open, Adam. The environment was very clean and the equipment all new/sterilized. He got right down to it and assisted me every step of the way. $60 is what will get his ink out. So start your base pricing there or don't don't waste his time. From drawing the perfect size of my preferred design to kindly helping with its wrists placement I was treated extremely well. Along with the tattoo, it was fun to have an artist that made my friend and I laugh. However, as he indicated to me, his good natured attitude is a mere reflection of his client. My fiance and I started our annual vacations to Clearwater Beach last year. We wanted to start a yearly tradition of getting somewhat matching but different tats every time we visit. Last year we got our favorite NFL teams, Atlanta Falcons for him and Green Bay Packers for me, as we live in a house divided but both have a great passion for football. Adam did our tats and they turned out great, and he was very friendly and helpful. We just got back from Fl and the day before we came home we went to see Adam again. My wife and I set an appointment while we were there for my wife's 40th birthday. We wanted something small as a memory. She wanted a small Daisy on her wrist and I wanted matching (in color) Star on my shoulder. The shop was very clean and both artists were personable. JD did our work. We were pleased at first when he completed. But now all of the lines are completely blown out and the color is barely visible. Both of our tattoos are inflamed and we are now treating them to ...prevent any type of further infection. If we could add pictures you would be very concerned. We will need to go to our local artist to see if he can correct them once they are healed. This experience was good during the sitting while at the shop and we thought we were getting some nice work. Unfortunately that was not the case. I also tipped very generously for such small pieces. From what it looks like with all the line work blown out the artist pounded the ink into the skin and quite frankly was heavy handed. We would never recommend! Never trust a tattoo artist without any tattoos. My family decided to get tattoos together while on vacation. Adam did all our tattoos in about an hour and a half. He is a motormouth and talked about himself the whole time. He didn't stop talking long enough to actually work with his customers to make sure they were getting the tattoo they wanted. I understand they were simple tattoo designs and no big deal for him, but to his customers tattoos are with them for life. I got a simple outline of a heart, and the heart is not even symmetrical! One side is pointy and the other is round. How do you mess up a simple heart? I do blame myself for not telling him to stop talking and actually take the time to listen to his customers. Adam didn't take down our names at all and wouldn't have gone over the aftercare instructions if I hadn't asked him to. He didn't bandage my tattoo. He also didn't ask for any ID or permission from a 16 year old whom he tattooed. It was all a very sketchy experience. I'm already looking into tattoo removal and looking for a better artist to have it redone. Oh, and Adam said he had a concealed gun on him while he was doing our tattoos. I don't know if he was telling the truth or not, but that freaked me out enough to never want to step foot in this place again. Read Less

While some of their artists are rather quiet, they all do excellent work. My husband got an intricate tattoo done (photo attached) and I got a simple henna (jagua) done. The woman at the front desk is very informed and can help answer many questions you might have and when she's not sure, she asks one of the guys/gals. The place was clean, as were the workers, and everyone was polite while my husband got his tattoo done (almost 3 hrs). My roommate got her nose pierced, she said the piercing was done quickly and is very satisfied with the way it looks. When we walked in, however, we did not feel very welcome by the employees and there was nowhere to sit and wait. Once we got in, the piercer got a phone call he wasn't happy about and was cussing and ranting about it WHILE he was doing the piercing. He was being very impatient with us and did not take his time, he almost didn't even tell her how to take care of the piercing. I was just here with a friend of mine, and we both got tattoos. It was my first, and Dustin was great!! He wasn't much of a talker, but he did a great job and took his time not only drawing out my tattoo but actually doing the tattoo. I was very impressed and didn't feel rushed at all. My tattoo turned out great! And my friend liked hers a lot too, which was done by Adam. Definitely the cleanest, least intimidating,  most friendly tattoo shop in the clearwater area! My friend and I got tattoos here on a recent trip to Florida. It was my second and my friends first. We actually stopped into 3 other tattoo shops in the area and we felt the most comfortable here. Adam did my tattoo and it looks amazing. My friend got hers done by Dustin and was not disappointed. Adam seemed to be more of a talker, which I preferred, and Dustin was more quiet, which my friend preferred. Definitely glad we decided to come here instead of any other places in the area. One thing to note, we were not bandaged when we left - I'm not too worried about it, but I was bleeding a bit after leaving. I took my sons there to get tattoos and was treated very rudely by their arrogant manager. We then went to clearwater (away from the beach) and got great tatoos at vintage ink. Here is the clincher - psychotic ink was charging us 160 dollars for a tattoo we got at vintage ink for 90 dollars. Unbelievable. Vintage ink was professional, polite, artistic and affordable. I don't have any piercings besides my ears, so while on vacation in Clearwater this past summer, i decided to get my wrist pierced down at Psychotic Ink. Me and my friend went down, I got a dermal anchor in my left wrist and she got her lip pierced one day, then two days later, i had to go back to get the right one done and my friend got inbetween her chest pierced. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! I've never seen anyone with a single stud piercing in their wrists before, so i decided to be different. They originally cost $90 per stud, but the guy who did my piercing only made me pay $45 for each one...which was an awesome deal...
