Licensed and approved by the State of Florida, Lou's Tattoos was established in 1975 and was the first tattoo studio in Florida. Now Lou's has four family owned studios, and employees almost 20 tattoo artists.

Here we go. I need to have my titanium opal jewelry removed, it's nice jewelry and I just don't know how to remove it myself, it's a weird mechanism. I just moved to the area from the other side of the state and needed my double nose piercings removed for work ASAP and can't make it all the way back to Cocoa Beach to do so.. I called to ask how much it would be to get them removed, the guy on the phone blamed the owner for not wanting to partake in that kind of "risk" and have a customer blame them for any complications (?) I think they've forgotten they work at a tattoo/piercing shop. Risk is the name of the game, and waivers are written for EXACTLY that reason. Unless the shop is completely unclean and the piercer is totally incompetent, and I (the customer) am too, there's no reason a complication should arise from removing quality jewelry from HEALED piercings.I would have even conformed with the piercer giving the jewelry a look and THEN telling me no, but a no from the get? Might as well put a sign out front that says "We don't want your money, nor do we want new customers!" Dude claimed "word of mouth is what they rely on" well, guess he's right.

Definitely didn't get my money's worth! My tattoo is more like a huge scar that stands out from my skin even after 31 days! He was supposed to fix the tattoo on my back also but made it look worse. Definitely not satisfied this time around! My tattoo guy was no longer working there so I let someone else do it. Now I'm regretting it because I'm scarred and the color isn't even. I'm from out of state so I can't just go back to have it fixed.

David is the gentleman who did my tattoo. Reasonable price for the quality you get. He was a little preoccupied when I came in and kind of short, a very quiet guy, but friendly and did the job. The place has a little hole in the wall vibe, it’s been here for over 30 years. If I ever need another simple piece I’ll definitely be back!

Did not ask where I wanted the nose piercing, simply inserted the needle and pierced it way too high up. Not able to wear a hoop ring because of this.

My lady and I came in close to closing, but the gentleman that did our tattoos was very friendly, and helped us out. I had a really bad tat on my right leg that needed some help. He redesigned it and now it looks a lot better. She wanted a Rasta style cat in the hat with dreads on her ankle (something she wanted before I even knew her). The colors still pop on hers, but a lot of my red faded out. I guess I need a touch up. Overall this place is the best I've ever been to.

Lou's Tattoos is extremely professional and clean. David, my artist was very patience and understanding as I explained my fears of my first tattoo. David designed my tattoo from our conversation and he was better than I had imagined.I have received so many compliments on my new tattoo. It's beautiful! Thank you David!! Can't wait to go back for my next tattoo. Overall they had great customer service! Gina.

This new guy that works there (Caucasian man with long hair) showed up an hour late, and then wouldn't let my sister get a tattoo because accepting a signature from a parent/guardian wasn't enough, after he told us that we only needed a signature... My sister was crushed on her birthday and on top of that he made comments about my sisters "black skin", and it didn't stop there with the black comments. he mentioned how black men don't like it when you tell them that their skin is soft....HUH??.. Etc... NEVER TAKING MY BUSINESS THERE AGAIN!

They are very informative about what tattoos, like what will last you a life time and what will look like a Big black blob in ten or so years. Mike is an amazing tattoo artist he has done some amazing work!! I have gotten all my piercings done there by a girl there she is very good and very patient! Defiantly will recommend to my friends!!

Really bummed out after a simply Q and a heart on the inside of my finger was done poorly. The heart is completely lopsided. If you want a crocked, lopsided tattoo, this may just be your place.

A lot of bad about the piercing.I've seen some really good tat work come out of there, clean work.I have been inside, not the cleanest shop or area of town.And I've heard from a local shop that some crazy amount.. like almost half their piercing customers come to them because Lou's fucked theirs up!They have talented artists, but I'm not sure I'd go there due to the location and overall look of their shop. Not clean enough for me!!Also, of course check for yourself, I went in and asked about a tattoo, and they said they would charge 40 bucks to draw it out- ummm no thanks!

Here we go. I need to have my titanium opal jewelry removed, it's nice jewelry and I just don't know how to remove it myself, it's a weird mechanism.
