Okay, so they do have amazing artist here. But I ended up not getting tattooed here because they couldn't keep their appointments and I got passed between artist both of which either had to cancel the appointment or just flat out forgot about my appointment in the first place. And to make matters worse they won't refund that $100.00 deposit either. I litterally paid $100.00's for nothing. Tattoos turned out nothing like what the stencil looked like. Had this tattoo for a month and I'm already paying hundreds of dollars for laser removal. The parlor would not give me a refund for this awful work. I'll add here that the owner also agrees this is a poor job and still would not reimburse me. Take your business to another shop. My boyfriend and I went to your shop this past Monday. We were greeted by Charlie who was polite and friendly. I asked if he did white tattoos and he said yes, very confidently. He even explained how he would use different techniques to do it. He informed me that he required a $100 deposit and he needed an hour to draw up my design. He said for what I wanted, it would take about 2 hours and that he charges $150 an hour. We returned in an hour and I really liked the drawing he... did. He asked for the payment before he started the tattoo, I gave him the remaining $200 ($300 for 2 hours). I got into his chair at 10:15pm. He started tattooing ... answered the phone twice and took a cigarette break and was done with the tattoo by 11pm. 45 minutes. When I got out of the chair I looked at the tattoo in the mirror, with the white ink and the redness of my skin it was hard to tell what exactly was done. When I brought up that it only took 45 mins to complete the tattoo, Charlie stated that he beat his time and I was all set. I thought he was joking at first, but he wasn't. I paid $300 for a tattoo that has no shading, a half done flower, shaky lines and did not resemble the picture he drew up at all. I left less than satisfied. The next day I returned to your shop and spoke with Charlie. He looked at the tattoo and I showed him where it wasn't completed. He said he "would take care of me" and he was free if I wanted to get it fixed right then. (Are you even supposed tattoo on a brand new tattoo?!) I declined. He said if I wanted to come back in 2 weeks he could fix it then after it healed. I asked him about the money and he said he would fix it for free ... how kind ... and he said he would give me a "floating deposit" for $100 for the shop. I don't want a floating deposit and I don't want him to fix my tattoo ... the tattoo is poor quality and definitely not worth $300. I called to make sure they could get me and my cousin in for a walk in appointment. Charlie was very friendly, both on the phone and in person. We got there and showed him an idea and he made it exactly what we wanted. It was my first time so i was very nervous but he was very gentle. Overall awesome experience and ill be back for more. We came in for the Friday the 13th special. We don't mind waiting when it's that pact with people but I was dismayed at how Charlie chose to speak to people who asked a question. I understand feeling a little overwhelmed but I had called ahead and was told that what I wanted could be done. Only to get there and him snap at me saying he couldn't anymore and that I would be waiting 2 more hours on top of the hour I had already been there. I have had a few tattoos done at this shop and always left happy. I put a $100 deposit down to have Mike do a half sleeve for me. It would have been my third tattoo done by Mike. I showed up day of and Mike wasn't at the shop. Some guy I had never seen in my past trips to the shop informed me that he would gladly take Mike's place in doing my piece. I looked at his portfolio and saw his largest tattoo was Palm sized and wasn't the quality of what Mike can produce. I rescheduled my tattoo no problem, I'll come back another day. Fast forward to another month of waiting. I call the shop before I leave my house, seeing as I live 45 min away, to confirm my appointment with Mike. I was told Mike was leaving for the day and would be unable to do my tattoo.. again. At this point I just asked for my deposit back seeing as he had never even drawn up my tattoo. Nope, they don't return deposits. I know this is normal practice but not usually the case when the artist cancels multiple times. Easiest hundred bucks they ever made. No tattoo, no time to even do a drawing. For the quality of tattoo that is done at this shop you might as well look elsewhere. Travel down to ybor city and you will find many artists that not only match anything Mike can do but also outshine him. I was happy the first two tattoos but after being burned and doing more research, I will never again allow Mike to put a decent tattoo on me when I can get a great tattoo elsewhere. Read Less

My Daughters and I make a yearly trip to Florida for vacation and ink. Just looking at the site I was impressed with the art work. Called and we where in getting ink. Mike & Charlie were awesome Artist. Gavin the shop ambassador was cool as shit. He went to get us coffee while being tatted and laughed are asses off until 3 am. Went here last night... I enjoyed my experience. Although my friends said I over paid and I'm sure I could have negotiated the price... But I was fine with the price.  But I believe as long as you feel good about the deal then that all that matters! Not what ur friends think.  And I'm very happy with the work and customer service I received  from Charlie.  I'd go back, for more work if get more. I got 2 small tattoos to tribute my maw maw and paw paw who recently passed. And I'm just in love with both tattoos Charlie did! The 4 star review is not because of Charlie. I'd give him 5 stars !So about the shop! CleAn clean clean! There is absolutely not enough seating... And we all know there is going to be a wait at a tattoo spot! Which is a good sign...But they really don't have the room to make addition seating... Cash only , but there is an ATM.  (With a 3 dollar fee) There's a sex shop next door to check out while you wait lol.  Entertaining. There were about 8 ppl waiting ... This place is great!! Charlie was super sweet and even though I was relatively picky, he gave great advice and made sure to give me exactly what I wanted. He was super gentle, definitely the easiest tattoo out of my 3! He took his time, even though it was a super simple tattoo, to really make sure the ink looked great and all.This place is super clean and really pleasant to just chill in. (Great music taste too.) This place is clearly about the art and definitely try their best to make sure you love every aspect of what you're getting done.Definitely would recommend this to anyone, especially since I was just a walk-in myself. My husband and I went to kill em all tattoos to get some ink done by Matt. This was my first tattoo and Matt made me very comfortable and at ease. The tattoo looks wonderful and my husbands looks even more wonderful! I would recommend them to anyone who is concerned with cleanliness and excellent work. At first I didn't know what to expect form this shop. I havent heard of it before and I became curious so I visited. When I walked in, the staff and crew were so welcoming and helpful. They made me feel comfortable, and that is what I look for when I get something done to my body. I want to be able to trust them and be able to talk to them while it's being done.
