I wanted to get my nose pierced for a long time and my husband gave it to ne as a Christmas present.  The staff was very helpful explaining the procedure to me about what to expect, the healing process, what to look for and  aftercare.  TJ dud my piercing  and he made me feel comfortable and I teared up during the piercing and he wiped my tears away.  How thoughtful!  I would recommend them to anyone! Walked in decided on a tattoo and asked some questions and then the lady at the front asked Micah to assist me. He gave me attitude and was very dismissive. After about 3 comments that were rude, I decided to walk out of there. I don’t understand how employees can be so rude to customers, especially ones that were nothing but polite. A guy here pierced my nose for me and it got infected. Then the second time I had it done, once it healed, I asked for a hoop and his reasoning behind not putting it in was "it wouldn't look good on you". I had my nose pierced again at somewhere that wouldn't infect me then asked the piercer at this atomic if he could change it out and he was very rude about it towards me saying it's irritated since I "kept touching it" when all I did was point at it when he asked which piercing I was asking about changing. It's the scrawny white guy who does the piercings, talks down on people, as he has the three times I have been in here and is just rude and unprofessional. Read Less

I walked in with my best friend to get matching tattoos. A gentleman (Micah, if I'm not mistaken) said "you guys have a question". We said no, we want matching tattoos. His response was "that's what I said. I can't give you a quote unless you show me what you want". He walked away, & told the piecer that he wasn't going to help us, that we were rude. All we wanted was tattoos. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I'm not from here, & I definitely won't be coming again. I wanted to take a look at some piercings, &was told I couldn't touch anything. What kind of place allows this kind of customer service? I didn't spend a single penny here & I definitely won't. Went here a couple years ago and came in with a super girly wrist tattoo. Walked out with the darkest, harshest, manly tattoo. Guy's last name was Wolves I think. Completely changed my idea, which I agreed to at the time because I was 19 and had already waited for my appt and was too excited to think and say no to the changes. Clearly wanted me in and out, had no interest in making it a good experience for me. Charged me $114 for a horribly done tattoo. I took my daughter to get a tattoo from Scott at Atomic Tattoos in the Brandon mall. The total price of the tattoo was $400 and would take roughly eight hours to complete. He asked for a $50 deposit so she didn't cancel the appointment. On the scheduled appointment date we went into the shop and after five hours she couldn't take it anymore so he told her she could come back in a few weeks after it healed to finish the rest of the tattoo. She gave him $300. and owed $50 when she came back because he still had her $50. Deposit. Today she went in their to finish her tattoo and handed Scott her debit card for the $50 balance. When she looked at her reciept he took $200 from her. I called Scott and told him that he took advantage of my daughter and over charged her. He said he never quoted her a price of $400. We have texts stating otherwise. Needless to say he wasn't gonna give her back her money. So Atomic tattoos took advantage of my daughter because she didn't have an adult their with her to step in. I am going to blast Atomic and Scot until they give her the $150 that he stole from her. Read Less

Overall really great experience. I saw the piercer Jeff during my visit to get my nipples pierced. He was super welcoming and professional. He was super quick and made sure I was doing okay. Severely disappointed. I frequent this establishment fairly often and I'm typically impressed. This evening however, is a different story. I came in with approx 45 mins to spare. I was told there was one piercing ahead of me. So while I waited, I asked to use the restroom. In the five minutes I was gone, I was then informed there were suddenly THREE ahead of me. After a week of having piercings, I've had to take one out due to the type of jewelry that was used and I'm having to have another 2 replaced by another piercer because for one the bar is too short and it's not healing properly at all. I'm in more pain than I should be.  Goes to show a great experience in the beginning is not always a great experience. Unfortunately. My best friend went to another shop and they were by far more helpful, actually gave her options. Rather than just doing whatever they please. After spending nearly $200 I'm not a happy camper that I have to spend even more to fix a mistake that was made. I came in one day to get another smaller hoop for my nose because I lost my original. A different piercer I've never seen before (Jeff) persistently told me that it there was no hoop smaller than the one currently in my nose, and that it was a fluke and they don't exist... I tried to take mine out and he told me I'm not aloud to take out my own jewelry "in their store" and he wouldn't let me because it's not sanitary, even though I wasn't touching anything else ?? Maybe if he said it nicer it would have gone differently but I just walked out. I came in against better judgement for a new separate nose piercing, and Jeff was the piercer. He was much nicer this day but when he pierced me, he put a hoop in my nose that was bigger than a pinky ring. It was unmistakably huggge. I have a small nose, and already had a small hoop in the one next to it, he pierced it with a 16G needle which is also pretty big for a nostril. We had to take it out and he poked my nose for about five minutes straight before he just repierced it completely. Pretty terrible experience. He was nice about it, but there was no compensation what so ever. I'm just saying, for a guy who sounded like he knew everything, he did not deliver. Read Less

Go here!  Get a tattoo from Deidre Zinn.  She is a great artist, pretty hilarious and she put up with 4 giggling, swearing, loudmouthed (yet wonderfully charming) ladies as clients.  I'm sure we were distracting.  I'm sure we were dorky. I went to one of the Friday the 13th specials with 3 other friends that wanted to get pierced. When I arrived, it was very busy and the staff was very quick to get everything to be running smoothly. Our piercer, TJ/CJ, was talking us out of getting the piercings we want (rook, frontal helix, & tongue). I felt like he was just being lazy about it and didn't want to do it, even though, it was a busy day. My friends ended up getting their conch pierced because he said they should. When they got it pierced, he didn't mark the hole unless they asked him to. He didn't clean up their ears even if there was blood. And then there's me, who wanted a tongue piercing. He basically said to another piercer, "I don't wanna touch your tongue for just $13."All in all, staff is great, except TJ/CJ. Read Less

Got my nose pierced here a week ago and the piecer was not personable and seemed like he wanted to get it over with super quickly. He didn't ask what side I wanted the piercing on or where I wanted it placed. When I told him I wanted the right side of my nose pierced he just said thats weird and poked the needle through without asking me about placement. I got my first tattoo and my ear cartilage pierced here. It was a very good experience. I walked in, I didn't have an appointment, but that wasn't a problem. I got my ears pierced first. I went back into the piercing room. The piercer could tell I was nervous so he kept talking to me and joking around to lighten the mood. The piercing did hurt but it was quick so the pain was momentary. The needle was thoroughly cleaned beforehand and my ears never got infected. Next was my tattoo. It was a Jesus fish on my left ankle. They even recommended a Christian tattoo artist cuz they thought it would be better coming from someone who was emotionally invested in the tattoo. That was super nice. I BELIEVE the artist's name was Mike but unfortunately I cannot remember for sure. He was very nice and professional and made sure I was ready.
