I went in to have my septum pierced by Matt. He was kind and knowledgeable. The shop looked clean, the materials were completely sterilized and in packagings. He insured me that symmetry was 'his thing' which helped me feel more comfortable having him pierce me. He also didn't exactly hurt to look at while he shoved a needle through my septum. I am so happy to have found this shop and would def recommend!  I had been wanting this tattoo for months and was determined to find an artist I really valued, as it was a tribute piece for a friend that passed last year.  On my initial stop in, Skyler gave me the time and attention needed to understand my vision of the tattoo and relieve any of my apprehensions while explaining his artistic opinions. He did make some changes to my original sample picture but explained his reasoning and I trusted his artistic ideas.  There was an adjustment he made that I kinda wish he hadn't BUT looking back on it, he did show me and he did tatt what he drew, I should have just been more observant of this slight alteration. His schedule was pretty full but worked with my time restraints (I was there visiting) and got me in within the week.  He was extremely professional and I felt completely comfortable with him and the studio was very clean and welcoming. I was pretty anxious/emotional while he worked, and he was completely understanding as I just chilled with my eyes closed and listened to my music.  Overall, I am very pleased with the work, although little bigger then I intended but I hear people commonly feel this way:) I love my hummingbird and it brings me joy everyday. I go here all the time for piercings and tattoos. Sacred Rites was where I got my first tattoo and the atmosphere is absolutely incredible. I recently went to get my nipples pierced and my piercer made the experience less awkward for me. Not to mention the process was quick and easy! I will definitely continue to go here! This was my first visit here. I chose it because they had really great reviews and 5 stars. Well it was definitely a 5 star visit, I went in to get a few piercings done and Rory was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. He took his time to make sure I was happy and satisfied with my options before he started. Micky was our artist today and he did an amazing job on the cover up (pics attached). From the moment we walked in we felt immediately welcomed and as if we were hanging out at an old friends house! The entire crew here mesh well with each other and also engage with you as well which made the entire experience very chill! We were here for a good portion of the day and there was a steady flow of people who either got a tattoo, piercing, or a consultation and they were very professional in explaining the procedure. I moved down to Florida recently and I left a wonderful tattoo artist/shop back in Ohio... I was very skeptical about finding a new place so a few months back I went to the Tampa Tattoo Convention to check out and talk to some Florida shops. When I walked past the booth of Sacred Rites all of the guys standing behind the booth said hello and one of them (Matt) talked to me for a good 30 mins about the shop and the different tattoo artists and answered any/all questions I had. The other day Friday 01/26/18 I woke up and decided I wanted to pierce my nose. I called the shop to see what hours the piercer would be there and if he did walk ins. Later in the day I drove down to Bradenton - it's a 1.5 hour drive for me. But let me tell you, well worth it! My piercer was Rory and he was fantastic! Greeted me when I walked through the door, fit me in right away, was very informative and friendly! I'm afraid of needles so I was a little anxious - but Rory was there through the whole process with his professional opinion and advice and his great personality! The whole process was quick and easy, the shop was very friendly and clean! A wonderful experience and I can't wait to return! The drive was worth the high class experience! I cannot express how much I love Matt, Rory and the rest of the crew at Sacred Rites. Any piercing you can think of they have done on me. Fantastic work awesome welcoming environment. They will talk to you for as long as you need and ask as many questions you can think of. Forget a question after you left the shop? They answer their Facebook page within minutes even after hours. These guys are great! Matt was an Army medic so he knows more than any other piercer around, and of course Rory is a pro too. I went in while Rory was an apprentice observing Matts piercings and listening to him explain everything in detail. 7-6-2017 Took Steph for a daith piercing on her birthday. She was very nervous in hopes that this could help with her migraines and she just hates pain! We were there when they opened at noon. Did the traditional paperwork, and waited. They got ready called her back to the piercing room. Everything went well, we will wait and see how she heals!!! In doing my extensive research for the best place to go for body piercings, I found Matt at Sacred Rites Tattoo in Bradenton, FL. He went above and beyond my expectations with his professionalism, experience, cleanliness and he's pretty funny too!! I'm so glad I had my ears re-pierced with Matt....and with a needle. I picked Sacred Rites Tattoo based on the excellent online reviews. I decided that I wanted Mickey to do my tattoo based on the pics in his portfolio. As a complete newbie, I had a difficult time explaining exactly what I wanted. Despite my lack of tattoo techniques, Mickey was spot on with the design. I'm so pleased. My son, who is my only child and my pride and joy, wanted a tattoo for his 19th birthday. I agreed to pay for it so long I get to pick the artist. That artist was Doug. Just had my tragus pierced by Matt. He was awesome. I felt welcomed and comfortable from the moment I was greeted - no ackward vibe like I've experienced in the past. Mike was awesome, he did an AMAZING job on my tattoo and keeping me calm and comfortable. His artwork is beautiful, and I am way more than satisfied. He is very educated and down to earth. Mickey's work is beautiful as well, he was tattooing a client while I was in there. The shop is very clean and has top of the line equipment. These guys really love what they do, and they do a damn good job at it. All touch ups are free, which I think is awesome. I even got a free tshirt lol. They have water bottles there that you can buy in case you get thirsty or dehydrated. And they even have sugar pills in case you get low blood sugar!
