I am down visiting family and my sister and I finally decided to get matching tattoos...the night before I head back home. I turned to yelp for help and this shop had great reviews.I figured I would give them a call at 12:45 pm and see if by chance they had any openings for the same day. The person who answered the first time was so kind and said yes it would be later this afternoon and to give them a call back around four for a better time estimate. I called back at four and was told around seven an artist would be available. We came in at 6:30 and were greeted promptly. The shop is clean and the atmosphere is fun! Joe came out to chat with us at exactly 7, talk about service. Side note-the bathroom is clean and adorable also! Joe is personable and funny as hell. He had an eye for detail that I admire and value in a tattoo artist. It's important to have someone take what is going on your body permanently very serious. Now to the tattoo, it's absolutely perfect! It's exactly what I wanted and I appreciate Joes attention to making it just that. I will absolutely be back anytime I'm down to get a tattoo. Aces High had so many good reviews and the pictures of their shop looked so good I checked out their website and decided to go. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly nice and professional, the shop was bright and clean and well kept, and I was able to get my tattoo done by Rob Ordway. He consulted with me on how to make my tattoo look good and last, and was happy to modify it in a way that I would feel most comfortable having it. I love this tattoo shop! I learned about it from a friend and I instantly fell in love with Mel’s work. I have two tattoos and they’re both done by her. The time she dedicates to designing each piece really shows in the tattoos. She is so caring and accommodating, I’m from Miami so we typically have to coordinate weekends. I came to Mel with a basic cover up design and she took it to the next level in regards to the overall presentation and design of the tattoo, as well as the color palette she selected, especially. The shop, including the restroom, was immaculate and everyone working there was super friendly and helpful. During the brief wait before meeting with Mel, I was offered a cold water bottle and a variety of snacks. I would not recommend another tattoo shop except for Aces High Boynton. Went in with my friend that was getting tattooed by joe. When I walked in, it was clean and so many things to look at, all kinds of knick knacks to keep your eyes occupied. Everyone in there is friendly and you get a little privacy when getting tattooed. This place was great. I drove over an hour because I fell in love with Mel Perlmans work on instagram. Got my first tattoo done by her and she made it such a great experience. She drew out several tattoo ideas for me and they all were great. After I chose the one I liked best, the tattooing began! She went to work and was done in 2 hours. Walked in w/ out an appointment and Brittney was happy to help my friend get the tattoo desired. My friend told her what she wanted and Brittney sat down with her ensuring the font, size and placement was exactly how Taylor wanted.
