I was referred here by good friends! Dave was AWSOME!! I needed a cover up done in the worst way! The place I had always gone to before told me to get it lasered off! It was in a bad spot on my leg close to another tattoo and my ankle bone. Dave drew/worked a beautuful rose cluster in the area when I went in to talk to him. My appointment was the next day. When I arrived he had come up with something far better that blended well with all my other tattoos on that leg!! I LOVE my little hairy guy and the kangaroo tattoo he did!! As soon as I walked in I noticed how open and clean the shop looked. I was recommended to go here by a friend who is a regular here. She told me to go to Jim. And I'm so glad I listened !! Jim was so incredibly friendly yet very professional. He drew my tattoo fairly quickly and did exactly what I wanted. As I was getting my tattoo, he always made sure I was feeling okay throughout. He kept talking to me and telling me funny stories it was an awesome experience. Such an awesome soul. These people here are not going to rip you off and the whole vibe of the place is great. I visited this shop on my birthday to get my first tattoo. David was the artist on duty and he was already booked for the day so initially he told me that he wouldn't be able to take anymore clients, however, he quickly changed his mind after thinking it over and squeezed me in to his schedule and even knocked off a few dollars as birthday gift. David is AMAZING. He is a very kind but honest artist who really takes his craft seriously. He has crazy talent. I gave him a tattoo Idea and he challenged me to find a way to make it my own so we created something completely original and I couldn't be more happy with it. He was very patient and he made the whole process as pain free as possible. He makes you feel very comfortable, like you're sitting at home talking to a friend lol. When on vacation away from Texas, my wife and I love to be tattooed by local artists. We chose Acme because of its friendly, knowledgable and experienced artists. The shop was very clean and had great art on the walls.Little did we know that we were about to be tattooed by a local legend of tattoo and body piercing. Jim Curtis has been tattooing in the JAX area for quite some time and has built up a loyal clientele. His attention to detail was unparalleled in the work he did for my wife and I. This place is amazing! I called after 8 (which is when they close) and told them about a simple memorial tattoo I wanted done. Matt N totally hooked us up and stayed late to do it! He did a great job, called me out on some tattoo confusion (colors and stuff) drew it out until it was perfect and nailed it! It was perfect! Thank you so much for making this tattoo one to remember. My Dad decided he wanted a new USMC tat on his arm.He googled this shop and asked me to drop him off. When we first walked in we  immediately noticed how clean and organized everything was. We were greeted by the artist that was working David Wood. He was a delight. He listened to everything my Dad wanted and really made his tat his own. He quoted my Dad and scheduled an appointment.
