I didn't catch the girls name that did my piercing today but she was great. The people there are very friendly and the shop is very clean also. They were more than willing to explain the process to me and ease my mind about the kind of stud they would be using for my nose because of my sensitivity to nickel. This place has terrible customer service. Let me preface this by saying...I am married to a tattooer. I have several friends that own various tattoo shops in the area and I am knowledgeable in the industry as I have pretty much grown up around tattoo artists, so I am not an idiot as to how this should have been handled. I am not just speaking as an uneducated possible customer. I was referred to Shane from my husband and a friend of mine who has a portrait from him. I inquired about getting tattooed here via email as I was instructed upon calling the shop. It took quiet sometime for the person to get back to me to communicate the appointment. I was then instructed to send 100$ deposit via paypal to book an appointment, which I did. I was then told I could have an appointment a year and half later from the date I made the deposit. I responded by saying I should have been informed of this and I wanted a refund due to the fact I wanted this portrait of a family member that is not in good health and I wanted it before it was too late. No response. I then contacted them via email again. Again no response and no appointment. I then disputed this with pay pal. A few days before pay pal was going to refund me I got a personal call from Shane himself ( I had been dealing with a woman speaking for him before). He allowed me to explain the situation.. and told me he would book me an appointment for Feb (which was 2 months) I agreed. He told me to text him directly. I did. 3 times. No response. I allowed paypal to refund my money. I did not even know he was famous. I was going to him as the referral of my friends. Terrible communication, terrible customer service. The staff are RUDE. I walked in the shop this afternoon and no one acknowledged me. I sat in the waiting area for about 15 minutes before someone asked to help me. It's not like there was anyone else in the shop, clearly they saw/heard me walk in and they just looked at me with a blank stare. I'd rather spend a little extra cash and go to Philly. Never again...
