Eminence is a welcoming environment and is an easy place to get a walk-in tattoo with little to no hassel. I was tattooed by slick (nice guy) and let him know it was my first tattoo. He nodded his head, but he didn’t tell me how to care for it afterwards; he didn’t tell me anything a first-timer should know. I went to see Lilly the piercing artist. She was so great! I got the Daith piercing done and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Told me everything I needed to know about the piercing and what to expect in the follow weeks. I got that piercing done for the headache relief to try and see if it works. I do have to say that since I have gotten that piercing done a week or so ago I have not yet had a headache! I'm thrilled with the service. My son and I went in and we were really surprised at the lack of interest showed at what he wanted and I never even bothered to ask for info on the one I was looking for. We talked to an artist for less than two minutes about a tattoo that would have turned into prob multiple ones for him and at least one for myself but they didn't seem like they could be bothered. We where showed where the books were for the work that had been done and the artist left us. We wound up walking... out when no one came back over. The other tattoo place we were at earlier pulled up pics and went over sizes, even set up a free consultation after spending a half hour going over what we were looking for. I have been going to Eminence ink since august of 2016 and personally I would recommend it to anyone, and I have. Eminence has an amazing atmosphere and is filled with great vibes. If your looking for a tattoo they have an outstanding crew who all do phenomenal work. I personally have gotten 10 tattoos by them, I tried one other tattoo shop and I was not pleased at all and Eminence happily fixed it and turned it into a piece I loved far more. Also, if you are looking to get pierced Lilly is an outstanding piercer. She takes care of all of her clients and makes sure you know everything you need to know about the piercing as well as the aftercare before you walk out of her station. DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS. I had my nipple piercings done at this facility about 8 months ago and they were done so incredibly wrong that I do not know what sort of permanent damage was caused. I was not aware that they were wrong for the first six months because I am not a piercing artist but when it had been so long that they were still bothering me, I went to a couple alternate piercers all of whom took one look at my piercings and immediately told me that they were some of the worst they had ever seen and that I should take them out immediately. I am not from the CT area so it is not easy for me to get to Eminence but I made my way back to talk to the store manager about my failed piercing. When I went in to place my complaint and ask for my money back, or at least some sort of apology/compensation, I was met by the store manager who immediately was on the defensive and handled the situation in the most unprofessional and immature way I have ever experienced with a business professional. She attacked my intelligence and refused to even offer an apology. I will reiterate, DO NOT GO HERE FOR PIERCINGS. I am incredibly disappointed not only in how my piercings were originally done but in how the situation was handled after. Read Less

I wanted a tattoo with Fame. I emailed twice, no answer. I called, and it didn't ring and went straight to a full voicemail, so can't reach them there. I went on their Facebook and messaged them there, but they barely post on Facebook, so I don't have high hopes for that to reach them, either. My last tat was 16 hours, and I paid $150/hr. I had my first tattoo done by fame and wanted my eyebrows done to look natural. He did just that they look like l have nothing done which is perfect. I have always had to do them before I left the house because I have insecurities about my scar and some thin hairs and now they look great without having to go darken then in with a pencil or powder unless I want that look at times. However the staff were very nice and clean atmosphere l have ocd so I can appreciate those who take pride in the work place.
