I've been to other tattoo shops before to watch my firends and Girlfriend get tattooed. However this was where I got my first tattoo. The artist that worked on my was Ricky Borchert and I could not be happier with his work and the overall experience of the shop. The first impression I got of the shop after being to many shops in a Connecticut, was the cleanliness, and modern feel. Bryan was kind enough to fit my sister and I in at the last minute when most places were booked up for months. He was flexible and really listened to our wants when it came to style and fonts for our work. Everyone in the shop was friendly and the place is super-clean. Megan Jean Morris and her team.  What else is there to say?  Megan is one of the premier artists nationally.  She's done 5 tattoos for me, all fairly large.  The first couple were done when she was still an apprentice and they're still fantastic.  She's gotten super fast, too, but without sacrificing saturation or quality.  She just keeps pushing limits, breaking down barriers, and getting better.  The shop is super hip and always clean.  Makes it tough to go anywhere else. Eric along with the rest of the staff are just awesome. I came in with an idea and Eric nailed it. I couldn't be happier with my tattoo. In reference to the studio itself. Super clean and friendly. I arrived for my 11 apt and they asked if I wanted to get in on the lunch they were going to make. Considering I was going to be there for 4 hrs how could I refuse. I strongly recommend going to Painted Soul Tattoo. One more thing their are no big egos there. When I described what I wanted Rick said its Eric you want for that one. It's super clean, and everyone that works there is amazing; I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. Toni is awesome! I had a great time talking to her while getting my tattoo done!
