This place is absolutely amazing and the artist are the best by far.... I drove from mass with my son who was getting his first tattoo. Well I as a mom was so nervous for my son to get his first tattoo but ROB rocked it my son sat like a champ and was super comfortable and James also did a cover up on me and it came out absolutely amazing. I would recommend so many to go here not only is the work f*CKING fantastic but the atmosphere was so comfortable and cool at the same time. It made getting tattoos an awesome experience for my son but also for me and it wasn't my 1st tattoo it's probably my 40th but I'll stick with them it's worth the drive and every penny. When I pulled into Unwritten Tradition the side of the building has some really majestic art work which is really eye catching and professionally done, When I walked into Unwritten Tradition I was greeted with a smile and great conversation. Every aspect of this shop is dedicated to tattooing and art, with the ceiling fan turned into an old WW2 bomber plane, huge yellow jacket with vicious ghost like wings that seem to be in movement on the wall, even down to the bathroom whi...ch meticulously has pennies placed all over the floor with a clear coating. I've known Rob for a long time before and after our time of service in the Marine Corps, I have watched him progress with his art and tattooing ability. I decided to finally get my first tattoo done and I couldn't be happier with my choice in location. Granted, yes, I have hung out with these guys a couple times before, but if anything that really solidified my decision on having work done by them. They are extremely professional, very friendly and do phenomenal work.
