I initially wanted to get a tattoo done here but ended deciding on getting a piercing instead, saving some money and hoping to possibly book an appointment for a tattoo by some amazing artists. I am extremely picky about where I get my piercing and I love the other place I go to but not enough to drive 4 hours. So after some research Excalibur was my top choice, I walked in and instantly felt comfortable, Xavier was the best, he talked to me the whole time. Gave me the run do...wn of how much time and effort is required for each piercing I got and he explained to me what some of the complications we could run into because of the piercings I wanted. When I say it was over in seconds it really was. I couldn't believe how painless he made it feel, he really was a ninja, just like his ninja shoes. Overall I don't want to go to any place except here to get my piercings done and I've gladly told all my friends if they want any piercings to go to Excalibur because I was blown away by the staff and just the dynamic of the shop itself. I got my daith and tragus pierced on 11/5/16 and it couldn't have been a better experience. My piercer, Xavier Joseph Main, walked me through the entire process and he was very careful and patient. The procedure was quick and the pain was minimal. I'm very pleased with my results and I have no complaints. I've been keeping up with cleaning them and the healing process is going good so far. My daughter and I had traveled from Massachusetts to get a mother and daughter tattoo. We were suggested to go to "EXCALIBUR" but only by appointments. My daughter and I decided to go continue our adventure in Conn. Upon arriving Duck and Xaveir welcome us and told us they would tattoo us. After a lot of back and forth, I finally decided to get my rook pierced. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon with no appointment and Xavier took care of me. We talked about my options, reason for piercing, and he explained to me that he is a ninja. It was the quickest and most efficient piercing I've had done. The place is awesome and everyone in there is superb. Jeanine helped make a great design come to life on both myself and my husband. Xavier is a really chill guy and an excellent piercer (as is Jeanine!) and Duck has a great sense of humor and from what I have see is an amazing artist. The shop is clean and excellently maintained, everyone in the shop does what they can to give you the best experience from discussing tattoo/piercing ideas, walking you through what to expect, making sure you're hydrated and that there's ample candy round in case your blood sugar is low, and even allow you to pick a movie of your choice when you sit for a tattoo. I just had my nose pierced at Excalibur and I am beyond happy with the service, cleanliness and presentation of the shop!!! The artists here are very professional. They won't just slap ink on you haphazardly. They will talk it out with you, give their opinions on how your piece would work best for you and were you would like to put it on your body. Once everything has been talked out and there is a battle plan set, they get to work, and that work is amazing! I was tattooed by Deidre and I am 100% thrilled with the end results!!
