I was first tattood by Bob at a convention two years ago and have sense been back 3 times for myself as well as brought my husband in to get inked. Bob is so knowledgeable and a great communicator. I first went and spoke to Bob yesterday about an idea I had for a tattoo on my ring finger and he basically talked me out of it. He told me all of the reasons that it was a bad idea. He could have easily just taken my money and did what I was thinking, instead he gave me some other ideas and sent me on home to consider them. I did and settled on one. I went and had Bob tattoo me this afternoon after looking around at a few places. From the first phone call with him, I knew that he was a cool guy. His shop is super clean, and he is the only artist that works from his space. He's nothing but professional from the first time you meet with him. He gives you all of the time and attention you need, answers all of your questions, and gives his opinion on the style of your artwork.....in a non-judgmental way! While he is ta...ttooing you, you feel very comfortable and at ease....in the space, in the conversation, and with the humming of the needle, somewhere mixed ever so cleverly with some funky tunes in the background. This was my first trip to Red Spider Tattoo based on seeing Rob's work on his site and reading other reviews.  He is a true professional.  I stopped by one day to check out the shop, it's extremely clean and inviting.  There is not a receptionist there so you get to speak with Rob himself.  He is such a nice and inviting individual, I showed him what I had in mind and he gave me some suggestions.  Yesterday was my appointment and it could not have gone better.  He worked with me on placement and size of my tattoos, and when he was doing the work I learned a lot about him and his background and his experience.  I felt like it was talking to an old friend.  He was very attentive to me, making sure I was doing well, didn't have any issues.  Once we were done he gave me my aftercare instructions and said to reach out with any questions or concerns.  This is the fourth shop I have been to and as far as I am concerned Rob will be the only person I will go to from now on.  You cannot go wrong by stopping by Red Spider Tattoo and talk to Rob.
