From the second I scheduled all through the entire process and even after getting the tattoo, the staff was professional, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. I went back to get ink after about 4 years and went to Alex this time. Per usual the facility was extremely clean and sanitary. Everyone from the artists to the secretarial staff were attentive to me as soon as I walked through the door. More importantly, Alex took his time listening to the design I wanted and also took his time designing and sketching it out. I left my appointment ecstatic about the new work of art on my forearm. Absolutely amazing! Kelvin has done 3 of my 4 tattoos & I could not be any happier. One was a cover up, a much regretted tattoo that he covered with a portrait. I have had it for over a year now & I still have at least one person on a daily basis stop me & compliment on how detailed it & that it's "the best portrait they've seen." He also did a very large addition on an existing piece. I highly recommend him, he was great! He helped create my pieces & I love them! 2 of the 3 took a few hours to complete & Kelvin was great at making you feel comfortable & distracted while being tattooed. Alex has amazing work and skill, unless you're Black. We (my fiance and I) walked in for a consult and he did not want to even consider working with me and helping to create a vision I had for a half sleeve. He informed me that he would not help to design anything and I had to come in with a full design of what I wanted. As a tattoo artist I felt like this is a part of his job- to help your client design a great price of art. We were told to come back with a complete idea of what I wanted and then we would be able to book an appointment. I did not initially think of it as a racial thing until I spoke to several other people and found that they had the same experience, yet I have other non Black/Spanish friends who walked in and had him freestyle or design an entire piece based on just their idea. I found his business as discriminatory and would not recommend him despite having a great talent. Read Less
