I live in Stamford and traveled to New Milford so that Rick could do my third tattoo. A few of my friends got tattooed by Rick, and the workmanship and attention to detail was meticulous so that is what brought me to Body Grafitti. I knew what I wanted, but Rick spent so much time enhancing my idea and brought my tattoo to life. Rick is very professional and respectful. When I went online to write this review, I was very surprised to read the review written by Ray Rossini. I find his review to be the total opposite of what I experienced. Absolutely horrendous. I got the simplest tattoo imaginable and it is completely faded, shakey and jacked up. It was a faded out mess 1 month after getting it. Ashamed of it and getting it redone shortly. Don't go here, your body will thank you. Read Less

I'd like to start off by saying I'm not a Body Graffiti employee nor am I an ex-con (a previous negative review suggested those would be the only types of people to write a good review). I also have about 15 tattoos that I got done at different places all over the east coast. Rick is by far the best artist I've been to. He's not pushy, let me make my own final decision on my tattoo after he printed out 3 different designs. He was very respectful and gave me a shirt that was cut down the back that way I'd still be covered up during the tattoo. He was very focused on his work and only made small talk if I initiated a conversation. The shop is well kept and he's definitely a professional in all aspects of the word. Be aware of the healing/care taking process of your tattoo (as you would with any tattoo from any artist) and there shouldn't be any issues. I would absolutely recommend Rick's shop to anyone considering getting a tattoo. Read Less

I absolutely love the tattoo that Rick did on me! He did a cover up on my first tattoo for me, I walked in to the shop unsure of what would work to cover the existing tattoo, Rick took the time to help me pick out the perfect piece, and explained to me everything that needed to be done to insure a beautiful end result, and that's what I got! He made sure that everything about the cover up was perfect from the placement to the color to the shading. When he finished, told me if I wanted anything touched up or the color darker to come back and he would take care of it form me. Body graffiti was by far the cleanest shop I ever stepped into. I'm not sure if rick is the man or not. I am also not sure if he's good at his job or not. But I can tell you that he's the rudest man I've ever met.  I would not let anyone I know go there after he insulted me and my wife, after what was supposed to be a happy experience for my sons birthday. I went to Rick in '09 for a big piece I wanted done. He designed it and offered his expertise with that design in order to make it last. Now, almost a decade later, the tattoo is holding up very well. His prices are very fair for his level of knowledge and skill in the industry and he will always be my go to guy when I want to add more decor to my body.Read Less

This weekend I got my first tattoo and right from the start, Rick made it the best experience possible. He immediately dispelled any apprehension I had and made me feel right at home. Rick is as professional as professional gets and doesn't give you any double talk. On top of that, he's a really cool dude who's a lot of fun to talk to. My daughters nose ring (gotten a year ago at another shop) fell out sometime last night...when she tried to replace it, it literally got stuck halfway in and is causing her a great deal of pain. We ran to the shop where we got it done only to find that they're closed on Mondays....ran to Body Graffiti, hoping for help or advice...Opened the door and had to wait for the man & woman sitting in their empty store to get the huge German Shepard put behind the counter...explained our situation with smiling fear for my daughter plainly expressed and was SHOCKED at the response...after saying how the place she got it done "screws up a lot of people" (which could not be farther from the truth btw) I was abruptly told to leave...that they won't touch another persons work & can't help us...fine...get that....but my daughter is in pain and I'm clueless as to what to do next...I express this and ask if I should bring her to the ER...the "gentleman's" response? "I can't tell you what to do lady. Can't help you". SO...off to the ER....but before I get there, let me say DO NOT support a business that doesn't care about people...that doesn't have the common sense to be gracious to a potential customer...that could look at a pained young woman and her frightened Mother and shrug them off like nothing but an interruption of their busy television viewing, dog grooming in the middle of their unpleasantly aromatic shop...
